The Community of Celezte is a huge, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape, irreverence towards religion, and suspicion of poets. The hard-working, cynical population of 695 million Celezteans are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Welfare, and Law & Order. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Jazoriquae. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 12.7%.

The very strong Celeztean economy, worth 43.3 trillion Euros a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Book Publishing, and Basket Weaving. Average income is 62,283 Euros, with the richest citizens earning 9.3 times as much as the poorest.

It is a crime to offend someone's religious beliefs, the sparkling rainbow has become a symbol of far-right extremism, there's an aura of pseudoscience around academia, and Celezte has designated Jazoriquae as its capital city. Crime, especially youth-related, is well under control, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Celezte's national animal is the Cobra, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities.

Celezte is ranked 80,385^th in the world and 63^rd in Lonia Kreptia Llor for Largest Cheese Export Sector, scoring 3,761.65 on the Mozzarella Productivity Index.
