The Colony of BW33 is a titanic, genial nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service and irreverence towards religion. The democratic population of 18.621 billion BW33ians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.
The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 15.7%, but much higher for the wealthy.
The large but inefficient BW33ian economy, worth 729 trillion Citas a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Trout Farming industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Basket Weaving, and Pizza Delivery. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 39,170 Citas, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.1 times as much as the poorest.
Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. BW33's national animal is the Vippertooth Dragon.
BW33 is ranked 265,432nd in the world and 1st in Berlin Wall for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring zero on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
