World Assembly Affairs, Ambassadors, and Delegations

Brief history:
The Foreign Service is officially headed by the International Relations Committee (IRC), which was tasked by the original inter-party Solidarity Movement with raising foreign support. It survived the dissolution of the first Solidarity Movement, and was integral in forming the Communist Party of Saint Abbra which founded the second Solidarity Movement. During the lead-up to the Revolution, an Executive International Relations Committee (EIRC) was founded to organise the effort. As they generally headed the Foreign Service, the Executive Committee also handled appointment to Ambassadorships, which incentivised them appointing mostly other members of the Executive Committee, which lead to a leadership vacuum. The International Relations Committee, meanwhile, created an International Relations Standing Committee (IRSC) to handle their affairs absent directions from the Executive. A quick power-struggle ensued which was officially won by the Executive Committee, which took all Ambassadors and appointed as its Chair the Ambassador to the World Assembly. In reality, however, the permanency, ability to set the agenda, and closeness to the Foreign Service made the Standing Committee far more powerful than the always-absent ambassadors' clubhouse in the Executive.
This has been the institutional set-up for almost a generation since then, and attempts at reform have been stifled by the IRC, since they can now appoint self-righteous and outspoken members to the far more prestigious Executive, which takes them out of the country, and the IRSC, since they accepted less prestige and more power, and the EIRC, since the most revolutionary diehards like acting out their fantasies while visiting decadent capitalist hellholes and/or fellow righteous socialist brothers and sisters.

Current Ambassador:
Ambassador Robert Mortimer Pride, called The Regicide, joined the CPSA late, but soon became both a valued commander in the field and a skilled politician at home. As the late Abbran monarchy was dissolved, the question of the king and his family was imminent. Pride was the mastermind behind the public trial and termination of the royal family, and spent a decade in the Coordinating Committee, which oversaw the general policing and military efforts and was unofficially tasked with the elimination of royalty and nobility. The Coordinating Committee was dissolved prior to becoming a World Assembly member and records opened to the public, revealing exactly how involved Pride was in the end of the Abbran nobility. Since then Pride became something of a liability to the more centrist government of Benedith Rosso, and he spent a decade on the political fringe before returning to the center stage with the election of firebrand (And former WA Ambassador) Marcie Elizabeth 'MacBeth' Illum, who secured her Ambassadorship for her radical ally.
Education:
Pride has a Bachelor in political philosophy from Coryn Emancipatory University (then Coryn School of Economics), a Master in philosophy from University of the Revolution (Then Abbra City University), a Master in International Relations from Redding University, and a doctorate in comparative constitutional law, written on the topic of retroactive justifications of revolutionary violence.
