The Aesir Empire of Aragonn is a gargantuan, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Jarl Brunnhilde with an even hand, and renowned for its anti-smoking policies, pith helmet sales, and unlimited-speed roads. The devout population of 27.592 billion Aesir have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government is primarily concerned with Defense, although Education, Industry, and Environment are also considered important, while Spirituality and Administration are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Drekiheimr. The average income tax rate is 74.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Aesir economy, worth a remarkable 4,911 trillion arans a year, is led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is an impressive 178,022 arans, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.3 times as much as the poorest.

Children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, the armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists, genocide is seen as a topic best avoided in history lessons, and the government funds large training centres to turn Dýrs into functioning members of society. Crime is totally unknown. Aragonn's national animal is the Dýr, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Norse Paganism.

Aragonn is ranked 218,486^th in the world and 12^th in New Hyperion for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring 793.02 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
