The Federal Republic of APH Germany is a mammoth, cultured nation, ruled by Ludwig Beilschmidt with a fair hand, and notable for its keen interest in outer space, pith helmet sales, and punitive income tax rates. The compassionate, democratic population of 9.466 billion Germans enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Defense, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Berlin. The average income tax rate is 70.3%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient German economy, worth a remarkable 1,012 trillion Euros a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Tourism, Arms Manufacturing, and Book Publishing. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 106,992 Euros, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Inheritance tax has recently been abolished, escargots have lost their charm ever since they started to be called 'cooked land snails', Bundesadler-Federal Eagle is one of the most popular forenames in APH Germany, and rebuilding efforts for a recently destroyed cathedral aren't expected to be completed for another century. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. APH Germany's national animal is the Bundesadler-Federal Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is Christianity.

APH Germany is ranked 40,688^th in the world and 1^st in Hetalia for Highest Average Tax Rates, with 70.28 Effective Tax Rate.
