Yeah... One thing is, we are SUPER CHEAP but that's kinda how so many tourists come, cus it's cheap then they get vowed by the fact there's so much to do in this small country.

Seems like a good country to go to considering the fact it's completely different from its neighbours in terms of language and culture, sorta just sticking out there in the middle of Europe. Would love to visit.

We also caused the collapse of the Eastern Bloc after opening borders with NATO and EU countries during the 1988-1989 period.

With a suspicious amount of "tourists" visiting awfully close to the border and then just "disappearing....."

Definitely not East Germans who decided: "Since DDR closed all borders after that announcement, we'll just go to Hungary then to Germany!"

"I think so, but that's a lot of of our people going there... you think we should close flight to Budapest or Szeged?"
"Nah! Keep the flights open!"

It's raining, the belt is wet
My weak leg is squeezed by the stirrup
A velvet bandage tightens my horse
A heavy carbine presses against my shoulder
The letter arrived with a black seal
The musketeer came with a hundred thousand people

He stands on his battlefield with four hundred cannons
This is how I, my good mother, march away
That mother can cry already
Whose son is being taken to war
A hand or a leg is shot through with a bullet, and the dead poor person is not even buried

The captain is coming in the red pej paripan
His sword glimmers on the right side
His sword flashed and his brain exploded
His beautiful red blood splattered onto the ground
Dude if you see my blood flowing
Load your gun and shoot me dead

Nail the tip of your bayonet to my heart
Don't let me suffer for long
That mother can cry already
Whose son is being taken to war
A hand or a leg is shot through with a bullet, and the dead poor person is not even buried

Himnusz, or lit. "Hymn" which is the Hungarian anthem is even more sad.
"This nation has suffered for all sins
Of the past and of the future!"
- End of the first verse of "Himnusz" or lit. Hymn
