PROBLEMS IN MANOROIM

The governor of the southernmost province of Cartdrigen, Manoroim, has announced the closure of almost 30 shopping centers, this due to an economic problem that this being the poorest province has maintained almost since the creation of the federation.

The governor has said that in recent years the GDP of the southern province has fallen by 22.60%, and that they will ask the government of the Glory province for permission to take 2% of their funds from GDP.

Although there has always been a small portion of people that believed unifying with their German Neighbor would be a good idea, that thought was always on the backburner as the nation went through an average day. But recently unification sentiments have been running high ever since the fall of the Hellasian occupation of West Germany. Germans & Poles in both nations have increasingly grown fond of the idea of joining their brethren across the border, although neither Government has made any moves towards this goal, until today. Unconfirmed rumors from their North Eastern neighbor say that the government of Grobdeutcher Bund has plans to hold a referendum on unifying with the Deutsches Kaiserreich.

OOC: It has been 14 days since Grobdeutcher bunds last IC post, and so they are grey. If they come back than this is obviously null.

High above the city, flying slow, was a vehicle known as the Flying Palace, a luxorious zeppelin, outfitted with extravagant quarters to host private meetings with the leaders of the Allied States, high above any prying eyes of spies or anyone who might overhear sensitive talking points.

Albina Shore, the president of Awakening, the largest cell phone manufacturer, looked out over Xian, the capital city of the empire. There was little to no pollution, solar panels and wind turbines dotting every rooftop. There are noticeable monorail tracks around the city, which helps move the population around in a most efficient way, leaving much of the road network open for trucks to transports goods around the city as needed. Underneath the city is a well developed subway network as well to help move people around. Below that is a network of tunnels that is little known to the public, that is exclusive to high level executives, such as Albina, government officials, and emergency services to give them a more secure way of transportation. This network is only accesible from certain locations, such as government buildings, police stations, and certain corporate buildings that are vital to the economy.

Smiling she noticed a new tower her company had built, a prototype to deliver the new 7GE signal they had developed to coincide with their new phone, the Xian Plat 7.

Yuri Boros sat by the oval table, garnished in gold, in the meeting hall in the Flying Palace, feeling safe as he knew the Zeppelin was being protected by a vast security camera network. He had personally ordered the paramilitary forces to be on high alert for suspicious activity. The security cameras secretly recording all people in range, particularly noting all people on the roof tops. Computers working hard as faces were transmitted for the facial identification purposes, and police forces are autonatically notified of any wanted criminals that appear. Flying around in the zeppelin is great for security but it does paint a large target for anyone with the wrong motives, so this added security is a necessary expense.

"So the new 7GE signal requires new towers to be built?" the president asked.

"Yes, but this signal is much more powerful. This will allow us to transmit more data, quicker," Albina said using her best sales person voice. "This will allow us to fully use our backdoors into the phone, letting us transmit photos, visual and voice information, and backdoor access into all the data on every phone, all quicker than previous models so the consumers will not be suspicious. We learned our lesson from the Xian 1 disaster" she laughed.

"Excellent" President Yuri said, putting down the report on the 7GE signals. "I will publicly sign the agreement when we land in Xian square for all the public to see. I will have the media run commercials praising this as a glorious achievement for us all. This will allow us to monitor who is actually saying their pledge of allegiance, and will allow our intelligence agencies and law enforcement much more access to vital information. The citizens do not need to know about these added features.

Excellent work" he says, smiling, as he shakes hands with Albina, cementing this new technology, proving the might of the Tiocfadh state run economy, run almost entirely from state owned companies.

The Trident Union officially took back control of Pinal City, and the union is finally under the correct control at last.
It is unknown exactly where the CRT went, though they likely haven’t died.

A viral picture of Pinal City from a T-2 Fighter Jet shows the utter destruction of the city. The CRT left the cities in ruins—on purpose. They rigged bombs on the bottom of skyscrapers, and when they left, put them on the black capital building as well. Behind the camera was the capital building along with many other skyscrapers. These buildings covered the buildings nearby with ash and debris, damaging many buildings and covering streets that used to be busy. Humanitarian organizations are welcome to help this crisis, as The Trident Emergency Department is being strained by the crisis.
