Attacks by the Far Right Insurgent groups had been considered a win to them as Swiss forces evacuated their citizens in a somewhat panicked response. Lowering confidence in the Government and also strengthening the confidence of those against the Technate, especially with a new government that is slowly becoming more sympathetic to their cause. And Otyken being focused on fronts elsewhere.

This leading to the October Offensive, a sudden maneuver by Insurgent groups in which the national intelligence agency suggests that these series of attacks had been planned by the supposedly disorganized insurgent groups.

Territories such as Mahaulu and Kahawaii we’re prime breeding grounds for insurgent groups with the territories dense jungles and poor infrastructure. Home to drug cartels and other shady industries as well as communities and people. Though it was those two territories where insurgents were primarily based in due to being on the mainland where much of the war between Otyken and Honalulu centered around as well as where many disgruntled soldiers and officers of the old Republican Army resided.

The October Offensive were a series of terror attacks on major metropolitan areas in Honalulu as well as the newly founded National Republican Front of Resistance were founded by Republican, Far-Right, and Far-Left Insurgents.

The Republicans led by Alana Kekoa was a young politician within the Province of Lusivu during the 2000’s. Ever since the Technate had been put into power his party and others were forced to be dismantled and much of the staff had been fired as well as him. Ever since he formed the National Freedom Front many have joined his cause from the old Federal Army to bring back democratic liberties and freedoms. He was a conservative though more moderate than the other primary groups of the NRFR.

On the Right Side of the Spectrum there is Pilipo Kamea, Leader of the Absukian Revolution Guardians of Honalulu, apart of an Sauvaki Militia and his forces were made up of primarily Militias who had been dismantled from the Technate as well as survivors in the rural areas terrorized by Cxurun’s events and had their homes wiped off from the map and destroyed. He can be described as Xenophobic, Charismatic, and disdains foreign influence within Honalulu. Though there has been infighting within the ARGH as it was a disorganized and large faction within the NRFR.

The last faction that resides in the Left corner is led by Mele Lana, a young Revolutionary Guard of a Leftist Rebel Movement when the Federal Republic was still in power, when the Technate had been formed she was a firm supporter though gradually has been disillusioned by the government as it receded back to the capitalist ideology and Otyken and Honalulu wooing with Imperialists such as Solingarch. She became a leader of the Liberation Organization of the Absukians of Honalulu and garnered support from disillusioned leftists. She is described as a Revolutionary Nationalist and is against Otykenese Imperialism and Imperialism in general. Though alike the rest there is an ideological struggle within the LOAH on how to proceed with their identity as a socialist organization.

Though even with all that, NRFR’s offensive had expanded their territorial gains taking control of parts of provinces such as Tabobike, Fogamaile, Nuatarawa, A’olepa, Vototi, Woodrora, and Otarange.

Unfortunately for the Technate government of Honalulu. the Island of Burwai that was situated to the far west of the nation had been taken over by the NRFR and under their subjugation. Founding the Absukian Republic of Burwai. Though while this independent nation was a success to the NRFR. Its government hasn’t been doing too well and has been constantly harassed by the Honalulu Navy.

Terror attacks have injured and killed many people but the most horrific ones were done in the more former conservative areas of Honalulu, that mainly being Otarange and Sauvaki which were two provinces close to the Otyken border and had to deal with Otyken immigrants, soldiers, and even Absukians married to Otykenese people.

The old Militias of Sauvaki and Otarange who fought bravely against the Superior and Technologically advanced Otykenese Army bared their fangs upon those that had betrayed them. They had been ultimately radicalized and reformed into the Eastern Corps of Absukian Revolution Guardians of Honalulu [ECARGH] where they killed police officers of the Technate, slaughtered Otykenese children and families. Cut the hands of Absukians who were married to an Otykenese and slaughtered their wife or husband (children even if they are able to have a child that is).

The LGBTQ+ Communities within these provinces whilst they had it bad with their sexuality and identity being within the grey lines of Honalulu’s Technate Government. They had it worse with the Revolution Guardians who labeled them as sexual deviants and ostracized from society. As Xenophilia and other LGBTQ identities were seen as traitors to the Absukian culture, people, and Honalulu as a whole.

Not another foreign nation onto our lands. And not another traitor within our lands. Long Live the 2nd Federal Republic of Honalulu. Down with the Technate and our foreign adversaries!

Customers frequented themselves throughout the busy streets of the surface city of Bern; They would walk through the dense crowds and into diners behind their busy day at work. Businessmen, metalworkers, and nurses went in and out of the city diners with empty stomachs, full bellies, and even takeouts. The ringing of doorbells and the sounds of productive activity created their natural soundscapes. But the rampant busyness of the diners resulted in the huge circulation of cash, with the loud cashier machines ringing their sets of bells for every transaction. Most patrons of the many big diners were savvy businessmen who owned either small or big companies and industries.

The workload inside the big productive and opportunistic cities was nothing short of intense in their work. Bars offered little delicious food and carbs for energy; nothing but alcohol and walls of shining mugs were present. In contrast, the diner equipment of their large stainless steel cookware containers was lined up like towers behind the kitchens, brewing all kinds of sauces, stews, curries, etc. The counters and kitchens were organized with pans and other containers neatly along their long counters in an uncanny feeling. Yet more problems arose as an indirect result of their diner prominence. Sprites often had tough times carrying their currencies. Multiple trips had virtually exhausted their journey to their local entertainment industries. The sheer weight of their coin pouches placed a dent in revenue, which diners, bars, and other fast foods had to innovate and improve.

The entrances were briefly filled with hungry mouths, looking to rush inside before their usual seating areas were taken. But most would often forget their wallets back from their workplaces; they were often too thick and filled with wads of cash. A group of businessmen and normal patrons gathered together to solve this ongoing problem. In the end, they devised a solution by simply using thin plastic cards that could store their cash inside a digital databank. They were simple enough to carry and offered faster payment by manually inputting everything. There was no need to count and recount each slip of paper and coinage. The supposed DINER CARD was a great success within the local territories of the tight-packed cities, primarily downtown Zurich, Bern, Lucerne, Rubezhal, Une, and Jaruun. But many took notice of its conveniences of immediate payment, some hailing it as the first modern credit card. The first bank card was already invented in the GCS before the great wars, but now, they have pursued the ambition of developing it further in the future.

With the modern and information eras settling into the country, credit and digital card technologies leaped forward toward better security, efficient payment processes, and terminal operability. INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CHIPS (ICC) were state-of-the-art; they were THE standard for future designs and production of cards. Intricately integrated by Gullblat and Swiss fablings, MILLIMETER ICCs became the standard for payment transactions for everything they want and need.[b][i]BUT HUMAN CARDS AND SPRITE CARDS STORED ONE THING IN COMMON: EMV OR CHIP-AND-PIN CARDS. EMVs also found themselves within other cards; transit cards, gift cards, employee cards, and others were built with the ALPINE REGION’s latest EMV chips. Strengthened and next-gen cryptograms were implemented at a remarkable pace, outlasting the adaptability of card scammers worldwide.

It was both the GCS and Gullblat, with their SWISS HARANCO, GMC, KALAKO, AND OTHER CANDAINIAN GULLBLAT CARD MANUFACTURERS, that led them to their positions as one of the top producers, consumers, and exporters of the valued commodity (next to Dzeia (Dze Tribes), Owlet (Candain), Sitruuna (Candain), and Otyken). Dzeian and Otyken counterparts were also traded and mixed within their markets, allowing greater access to all available financial benefits and opportunities. Size issuing, plastic manufacturing, packaging services, and personalizations, from Swiss and Gullblat companies, combined themselves into one overall group, reinforcing their main staple of being strong sources of supply and demand. Next-generation cards featured differing designs from their predecessors; often, they’d change to verticals, add contact and contactless EMVs, and manufacture metal versions. They did offer more, but not limited to, features, such as full-face foils, color edges, translucent appearances, translucent inking, debossed designs, foil stamps, specialty inks, textures, and many more.

Methods to increase the Swiss Confederacy’s defenses came with the idea of reconstructing, replacing, and reinforcing their SOSUS equivalent hydrophone systems. Old underwater stations were still in use within the northern islands and northern straits, but they were not as effective as the new stations. And the recent additions of overseas territories, new lands, and new coastlines, had little-to-no hydrophones to track underwater geological events and enemy submarines. The Military Ministry and the Naval Ministry convened together to address the issue, treating it as an issue of national security. Investments and funding from the Ministries and government were diverted to construct next-generation designs of large stations and cable lines, which would run across the islands and into the straits. The goal was simple; they were to extend underwater defensive networks all across her new territories.

Several plastic laminated documents were handed out to the round table; they were neatly packaged and attached with metal rings on one side. The proposed, large-scale sonars or hydrophones were designed to track all types of submarines. They were noisy machines even deep beneath the oceans. New chains of next-generation hydrophones were submitted and were under current construction across the undisclosed northern western zones, which ran to the deep ends of the trenches. Both sides agreed to have companies and laboratories develop low-frequency and low-transmission systems; ones that could track the quiet sirens within the deepest depths of the sea.

The project emphasized their placement to be alongside the continental shelf and the deep trenches. They were to be placed across undisclosed locations within the sovereign waters of the GCS Alakan Oceanic region and the overseas islands. Within the next few days, they delivered additional laminated documents regarding their commissioned companies and the construction zones. Although, specific sites were held TOP SECRET. The list of commissioned companies, highly regarded for their expertise and business in underwater technologies and construction, included THE TELECOMM CHROMIC COMPANY, UNDERWATER SEA CABLE TELECOMS, OVERLAND SEA AND UNDERWATER MANAGEMENTS, KOKRUN CELLECER FIBRE COMPANY, AND THE UNDERWATER GELLEN PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGIES. Naval shore facilities, handled by the Ministry of Navy, were to simply take the matters of operating them twenty-four-seven. But with the issues of secrecy, they were simply disguised as research facilities. Members within the room nodded to the astounding project, agreeing to set the zones for better-performing hydrophone designs, replacing or reinforcing old stations underwater. The laminated documents containing the classified scheme and the assigned to GCS and Candainian Gullblat companies were handed back to the ministers, holding their copies. Commissioned experts and specialist companies were deployed with assistance from the NINE EXP RESEARCH DIVISIONS, which they were working on overdrive. Construction of hydrophones started at their respective zones at the same time as the considerable procurement of workers and supplies was given to them on schedule. With the quality of workers constructing the networks and their continuous supply of materials, the projects were expected to be completed in 2021.

With the security of the north in dire health, current and upcoming SOSUS programs provided shares of intelligence to key nations, combating Kulkkistani and potential Oseiyran (Oseiyra-Norein) piracies. Telegrams were sent to the following nations of Baltocarpathia, Rykensvik, Midribbonia, Naacal, Ryuvir, The Gullblat (Candain) Enclave, The Owlet Enclave, The Sitruuna Enclave, Dzeia (Dze Tribes), The Distanic Confederacy, and the Empire of Gora. Extensive networks kept the flow of intel ongoing, which proved pivotal for anti-piracy and anti-terrorism.

International backlash originated first with their Phoenix Blossom member, Amberleaf, where their chaotic nature was now released to the international community. Despite sides being chosen, the GCS and the entire Celestial Union remained vigilant in their core principles of neutrality, showing no intentions to side with anyone. No matter how atrocious, how heroic, how distinguished, how beloved, or despised. However, the Swiss Azzerie ants thought differently, condemning the government for their lack of conviction. Staunching to their ants' outcries, a speech was made by their Mothian Hybrid president, Marla Shifigte, concerning the two most recent, significant events.

(((THE OTYKEN GARTENTOR CONTROVERSIES)))

She arrived fervently at the podium, where all the cameras turned their attention to what she had to express to her citizens and the international community.

“I am here today to address this ongoing controversy, spoken loudly by the Amberlevian government and our Swiss Azzerie Ant immigrants. They have concluded that the Confederacy aids their enemies, Otyken and Gartentor, through trade. Yet, they failed to realize the growing economic concerns that led us to trade with the East, in the first place. Standards of living are on the rise, due to unmitigated tensions, conflicts, and piracy. And with the East being relatively stable, at the time, our NEUTRAL confederacy sought trade like other nations did. It is —and continues to be— enshrined within the Swiss constitution to never sell any weapons to any nation, who are not neutral third parties. If their concern points to the selling of weapons, their top brass are gravely mistaken… These trades are merely to help improve economic growth and living conditions for our citizens, like how many nations are currently doing. We have never criticized the Amberleaf government and their nation’s past xenophobic ways, as a whole, but to see them criticize our nation and our long-established culture… also really grinds my gears. Although the Azzerie had a right to protest, they ultimately failed to take into account the strong, rigid, and unmoving culture towards neutrality. Our mindset had always been to look at nations equally, and to never shun them out. Ever heard of the saying: an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind?”

“In any case, we understand how the ants feel about their country —and the whole Gartentor situation— as we are deeply saddened. We assure you, once again, that strict legal bindings have tied all forms of such hypocritical proposals to send arms. Like any other nation, trade of common goods had always been in our priorities; in everyone’s priorities. Some reconsiderations will be made after these events, but to those who may be concerned, this will not… what you say… put the final nail in the coffin. Diplomacy will still be maintained with Amberleaf, should they choose.”

Her tense speech ended abruptly. The Underground Canton of Une remained to their stance of neutrality, just like all the rest. Their populace was among those who adhered to the dominant Swiss culture. The same cannot be said for Azzerie. Anger spewed, like wildfire, into the streets, yet the government refused to relent in its stance and position.

(((FRIENDS AT WAR)))

“The war between Brennus —a valued friend and partner of the GCS— and Otyken —another valued friend and partner— is disheartening to all the Swiss humans, muspels, standards, imbueds, mothian hybrids, sweizzer faeries, amberlevian ants, and the freiven elves. But we cannot relent in our positions, as I’ve reasoned with you very recently. It does pain me to see our friends suffer such a fate. The best we can do is bring refugees from Brennus, seeking to immigrate, repatriate after the war, or move to other countries, willing to take them. Necessities will be provided. Cheap, modular housing will be built for them to stay and integrate themselves into the Confederacy. Social services will aptly contribute to their close, yet distant, friends.”

RP: Shattered
With the eastern battle concluded, Brennus' military was fully devoted to keeping its coasts clean of Otykenese vessels. The scale of the engagement was strange to much of HIGHCOM, such an outdated fleet simply steaming into Brennian waters with little to no support seemed well like a diversion, yet no larger force had been detected. That was until their little conference was interrupted by a frantic officer, bringing a report from a PM-8 maritime patrol aircraft of a horribly large armada that had somehow snuck its way towards the western coast. The aircraft had fled the scene and passed operational command to a series of AWACS aircraft that were now all converging to the west. There was little time to prepare once again, and the entirety of the western fleet composed of thirty six vessels was hopelessly outnumbered. Still, they couldn’t not fight and bravely steamed out to meet their enemy. Fifty ASBMs were flung into the sky haphazardly, carrying a hundred warheads total, seventy five percent of which would be shot down, the remaining twenty five killing two destroyers, a cruiser, and not much else as the rest of the missiles splashed into the sea, missing their targets due to hasty targeting. On the Republic's side, waves upon waves of missiles slammed into continental targets. Two of the five major airfields on the western coast were completely and utterly ethered, hundreds of aircraft burning where they sat as fuel explosions, ammo, and chemical explosions ruined facilities and runways. In one case, a pallet of five thousand pound bunker buster bombs were flung into the air by an ammunition secondary explosion, being tossed out among the runways and turning the ATC tower into something that more resembled a nub.

In the seas, SEACOM-WEST was taking a beating. Four of six coastal hypersonic batteries were destroyed after at most one salvo, which only succeeded in killing three more of the picket duty destroyers. None of the rest got through, with modern air defense systems on both sides proving their worth in intercepting munitions. At most this was a desperate battle to inflict as many casualties as possible, and the mounting losses on the Brennian side exacerbated this. CAN-001 was heavily damaged, taking two supersonic hits and being forced to flee at the best speed she could make down south, though she was ill fated and would sink twelve hours later off the shallow coasts of the south, recoverable but very much out of the fight. The lead ship of the Brennian carriers being lost was a huge hit to morale as the battle went on. They were losing, and losing badly as they were forced back towards the shores of the west.

The 18th and 15th Frigate Squadrons were completely annihilated in a series of pitched charging battles, though they did a significant number on the enemy, emptying their advanced box launchers of every hypersonic they had, which totaled around 96 missiles. Though they were quite close given modern naval combat, and half of those failed to track properly, skipping off the sea in gouts of white spray. A further 36 were intercepted by sheer volume of fire over accuracy, but 12 still punched through the screen into their targets. Four cruisers, six Destroyers, an Arsenal Ship, and to the cheers of controllers all across the battlespace, one Otykenese super carrier. Though this was traded for all eight of the frigates. Destroyer Squadron 6 was completely ethered in a combined salvo from a single arsenal ship, and CruiseDes 1 was destroyed in a battle with a similar force, bringing down only two enemy destroyers. The battle at sea was lost, and the remaining BRN assets fled south out of the battle area in a naval engagement that couldn’t have lasted more than a few days.

The battle in the air was by comparison much better, but still far from ideal as the BAF once again found itself incredibly outnumbered. Their B5M wing managed to bring down two cruisers with a salvo of ASM-120NGs, but was completely lost in the process, an irreplaceable blow to Brennian air assets and one that would have to be compensated for going forward. B-50E Sabers were withheld from the useless and by this point already doomed naval engagement and were instead tasked with destroying their own infrastructure, a series of targets carefully selected to slow down the inevitable Technate landing. Only six aircraft were lost in the process, which made it successful enough to let loose a slight sigh of relief, knowing at least a little time had been bought. Fighter-on-Fighter combat was less of a one sided slaughter than expected, Otykenese experience far outweighed the Republic but the gap was made even by the capability of machines and the fact that training and simulators were far from useless. In particular, the Otykenese learned to fear the B5X, a variant of the Backsword modified to be a missile truck. With a top speed of Mach 2.2 and a total missile load of 72 advanced BVRAAMs each which were sent flying towards the mass of Technate air assets. They weren’t made to all hit, those that did were all well and good but the main objective of these missile trucks was to get these now depleted formations of Dragonfires to dive low. While initially a safe move, the sheer clutter of the battlespace made them blind to Aquila formations hiding amongst the ground, and were caught diving straight into their waiting jaws.

These tactics worked exceptionally well, but still could not prevent forty of the eighty Super Frelons, 5 Aquilas, and 2 B5X from being downed. Still, the damage they inflicted on the enemy was close to double what they sustained, bringing down a whopping hundred and twenty J-35s, and two of the AEW&C aircraft before being forced to flee the battlespace inland to more out of the way airfields, where they would join the rest of the BAF. Two aces would be made that day, most famously a pilot known only as “Pixy” who was responsible for downing eight Dragonfires in his Aquila, and another known as “Taffy” scoring 6 over one BVR and one BFM engagement with the Technate. This would force Otykenese assets to move further and further in, where they would become more and more vulnerable to capable Brennian aircraft and SAMs. It was a hard loss to take, but none faltered, none thought of simply giving up. There was no second chance in this war, they either fought tooth and nail to defend their home or their entire way of life and culture would be stolen or destroyed.

RP: But not Broken
Following the loss taken at sea the landing of Otykenese troops on sovereign Brennian soil would commence, as footage poured in from all over the western coast and onto the internet for all to see. They were not opposed by many, the Republic knew trying to hold the immediate coast would be a foolish endeavor and would lead to more casualties than they could sustain. Instead, they had armed their National Police and Gendarmerie with older reserve weapons, and a force numbering around 8,000 incredibly brave public servants stood in opposition to the 35,000 landing enemies. Though it was a pathetic force in comparison they would not be engaging in a traditional fight. Their objective was not to hold them, their objective was to delay them. Brennian HIGHCOM was adopting a strategy of giving ground to the Otykenese to force them into a situation of damned if you do, damned if you don't. If they didn’t advance Brennus would simply smash them flat with the weight of the entire Army and Marine Corps, but if they did advance they would find themselves constantly contending with determined partisan fighters. Advancing was their best and only option, so onwards the Otykenese pressed with predictable results. The ground battle for securing a beachhead was brutal, and encompassed a month of near constant irregular battles instigated by the scratch army of up-armed policemen led by the much more paramilitary Gendarmerie personnel.

They had to fight for every inch of land they wanted to secure, and the Brennian defenders made sure of it. Despite their older weapons they were still weapons and were put to good use as the Technate fought through coastal villas, towns, and cities. In just these few days of high intensity partisan warfare the Otykenese had suffered 2,500 casualties, 1,000 of those being deaths and the rest wounded. 120 APCs/IFVs were lost, and about 25 tanks met their end from AT weaponry, missiles or sometimes molotovs, explosive charges, and sheer force of will. Their adversaries fought like men possessed, fighting from building to building, sometimes being fought hand to hand, and in several, often fatal cases, teeth as footage poured back from both sides of the war. It was a source of shame for the Technate, but the Republic got a nice laugh out of OtyComs limping away with severe bite marks. Their delaying effort had been a success, but still the Otykenese had managed to secure several of their objectives. Though one more airfield was scuttled by Brennian forces two were captured in-tact and useful after the BAF fled further inland, allowing supplies and troops to start flowing in. The partisans took heavy casualties, 2,000 dead and 3,000 wounded, the remaining 3,000 initiated a fighting retreat to the now growing Brennian defensive line, which encompassed another series of pitched skirmishes.

This line was far less ragtag and represented the first true military adversaries the Technate would face and it stretched across the west in sections. In the south you had mostly Marines, 20,000 of them in fact. The 1st, 5th, 11th, and 20th Marines held a flexible defensive line across the southern parts of the western defensive line, prepared to make the Otykenese bleed if they so much as attempted to punch into the urban heartland of the Republic. In the north the Brennian army took control. 40,000 men from the 4th, 7th, 29th, and 57th Mechanized divisions stood ready and waiting just outside the beginning of bocage country to meet their foes. The 4th and 12th Armored Divisions were also joined with the line, bringing a total of 800 modern, 4th Generation MBTs to the fight, a prospect that caused many murmurs among their opponents tankers. This would be their main defense for the battle of the homeland, and hopes were the Technate had been slowed down enough to allow the line to solidify properly. Civilian casualties on the other hand were near non-existent, as the immediate areas of the coast had been evacuated successfully with more prepared to leave should the Otykenese advanced continue unabated. It was a massive feat, and one that solidified the fact that the government was dedicated to preserving its citizens as best it could, an important fact that kept many going. Knowing they could look up to their leaders and know they would be protected kept spirits as high as they could feasibly be after losing their homes and livelihoods. This was far from over, and the Republic would be damned if it went down before taking those yellow bellied coked up bastards down with them.

Alana Kekoa would meet these agents, as of now he explains that his cause may be waning as many flock to the Absukian Revolution Guardians of Honalulu in order to seek revenge against the Technate government. Though so long as they are hopefully split and not solidify into a cohesive body. He may be able to to topple the ARGH before they can assume total control and power over the newly established Federation. Hopefully without another civil war brewing after the collapse of the NRFR.

As of now he has no idea what the future awaits and is unsure if a blank check will lead to a definitive successful overthrow of the Socialists and the Ultranationalists. Though it may help.

Another wave of Amberlevian offensives have proven highly successful in conquering and destroying key locations in the Deepwoods where the Gartentorian settlements resided. Gartentor just lacked the skill to defend against underground and trench incursions, and their military lacked the cohesion and moral of the Amberlevian forces. To Gartentor's fright, Amberleaf also seemed to finally have semi-located the Druidic headquarters from where most of Gartentor's Druidic Attacks are performed. A Town by the name of Leyen was seemingly construction to function as an enormous Druidic Circle. If Amberleaf conquered said location it could mean the end of Gartentor, as its only major advantage would be lost.

RP | Scorched Earth

Seeing themselves in a downwards spiral, the war seems to be on the path of being lost for Gartentor. But new deliveries from Otyken, which tended to be highly destructive in nature, would provide an opportunity for a desperate strategy of Scorched Earth. If Amberleaf couldn't be pushed back, it could at least be stopped to advance through highly destructive means, stalling for a change of winds in the war. Having previously refrained from using chemical and other destructive warfare excessively in their own territory, desperate times called for desperate measures. Gartentor could turn its fronts into scorched and untraversable dead lands.

With napalm weaponry they set the forest aflame. 500'000 Barrels of Gasoline were placed into positions, some of them ignited, some of them placed for being strategically set aflame when the time was right. 20'000 kg of Anti-Tunnel Bombs were used to completely demolish Amberlevian underground fronts. 30'000 Mines were scattered around the front. After the landscape was sufficiently sprayed with pesticides and set aflame, Gartentor began to set up their newly received artillery, and began mercilessly using it to excessively blockade the front. Refrained was only from spilling toxic fluids, in the fear it would travel through rivers to poison all of Gartentor.

Again, smoke could be seen from all of Fargarden, much worse than last time, but this time originating from Gartentor's territory. Gartentor had consciously called to evacuate settlements which would come under fire, many of which had been, or were assumed to soon be, conquered by Amberleaf. On the front the Gartentorian civilian had their homes now destroyed from both sides, causing mass migration deeper into Gartentor's center. The atmosphere having been crowded and claustrophobic and cornered by the enemy was now twice as bad. The Confederacy was now under extreme strain.

But the strategy paid off, immensely. Amberlevian Military was completely shattered in its tracks, and even forced to retreat. All successful advances were being reduced. While the wildfires raged, the pesticides fogged the woods, the mines made woodland travel highly dangerous, and the artillery hysterically shooting at anything, the fighting on the front was coming to a momentary slowdown.

RP | Leyen

Until now, the Druid-Town of Leyen had been used to reduce the problems of famine, now even under more pressure to compensate for the reduction in Gartentorian-controlled farmland. The giant Druidic Circle had to refocus its resources, and it almost seemed like the clouds and storms around Fargarden were getting weaker. Amberleaf had previously accused Gartentor of causing blight in Amberlevian agriculture, and also blamed them for a recent disease spreading in Cantont Deepest. Gartentor denied both claims, accusing Amberleaf in turn for trying to come up with conspiracy so they could claim justification to destroy Leyen.

Gartentor pleads to the international world to stop Amberleaf from taking or destroying Leyen. It would cause mass famine and lead to the deaths of millions of civilians. The current strategy of Scorched Earth was holding Amberleaf back from conquering the city, but they were sure to make excuses to bomb it from afar, and have Gartentor starve to death. Gartentor accused Amberleaf of attempting a genocide.

RP | Attack at Amberlevian Ports

With the fronts stalled and new equipment being delivered, Gartentorian Military was in the mood to make a move in hopes to gain back the initiative. What Gartentor lacked is any amount of air and naval control. So it was time to take the first step to get those. In the south of Amberleaf, the north coast was Amberlevain-controlled and contained a number of small ports. Luckily the area was still in the Deepwoods ans sparsely populated. And the major regional center, Insiga, had previously been mostly evacuated. Since that, the region's activity had declined. It was a great opportunity for an advance.

Yet Canton Greenside had gotten very intense since the Insiga Attack, and they made hell-a-lot sure that Gartentorian Military will never cross into their land proper again. Fierce resistance halted the attacker, and forced it to retreat.
