Y’know what’s weird? That society considers vanilla a default flavor, when vanilla is, by definition, a unique flavor within itself. Vanilla ice cream is very much not flavorless, because actually flavorless ice cream would, I assume, taste awful, being just a mushy pile of ice and cream. But vanilla ice cream is not a mushy pile of ice and cream, now is it? Nay, it is a full blown, tasty ice-cream! So I say down with the assumption that vanilla is a default flavor!
