Yeah. Life sucks like that sometimes.

What’s Hugo Boss?

Talitoa wrote:Really, its been the status of fandom ever since fandom came into existence. Even the best fandoms can have a undercurrent full of terrible people. The earliest fandom was for Sherlock Holmes apparently when it came out in the late 1800's.

Fandom drama is my favourite thing to watch two-hour video essays on.

Me with Attack on Titan, love the series but cant stand the literal fascists and chauvinists that view it as a ideological handbook rather than a warning for hatred and racism. Like my guy the fascists are the bad guys in AoT why are you even watching it?!??!?!?

The guy who styled the NAZI parties clothes.

A clothes/perfume brand that used to design uniforms for the German SS and army, its founder was one of the few first to join the NSDAP

You said it, Illi.

Yikes. Some people just... eh... what do I even say?

That's how I found out about RWBY, Steven Unuverse, Hazbin, all that sh1t.

As a stalemate was reached down in the state of Ìrisãnxa regarding Coimatua, the Revolutionaries are looking for some more victories, to help their reputation. Following the beat down of the revolution in the city, any propositions of going south of Coimatua were ignored, with expectations for them being low. Rather, the army that began this whole mess based in Luidanxa would be doing the work of entering a new state. So, why not attack one of the biggest remote cities in the nation, along with it being Camginja's state capital, Ejinalua? Well, that would be tricky. Despite the city being remote, it still had a large area to be supplied from through the Camginjan border with the state of Velisena. So, the revolution's main army set up its plan.

Before going for Ejinalua, the army would cut off the entire Camginja-Velisena border, as to make it difficult for government supply lines to go through the area. It would allow supplies to come in from the west, however, it would be a difficult task forcthose coming in, due to the rough terrain along the Amolida (another state)-Camginja border. So, the border gets cutoff (along with a large city in Velisena of 52k, Jiligano, to be taken over), then, the RoU would use all non-civilian vehicles to get to Ejinalua as quickly as possible, attacking the city of 150 thousand, and taking over the Camginjan state capital. Most likely bringing the entire state down with them.

STATE BORDER BETWEEN CAMGINJA AND VELISENA

A small part of the border had already been taken over through the conquest of Luidanxa, but if the soldiers were to go straight (the fastest way), 125 kilometers would be left. Though, they were only around 45km from Jiligano. So, a campaign of taking over minor cities took place across the first 30km entire border, with little to no resistance. Mostly due to the fact that the proximity of the revolutionaries made them really popular. In total, the revolution gained ~2,500 members in those cities, of all social status, ages and genders. Though, going across the border took around 2 days, because of the massive army of 15,000 having to be transported, even though it wasn't even the full strength of the Luidanxan division. Anyway, with 15km to Jiligano, the armies under General Promìto knew to be careful and to rest well. Despite the reinforcements at Jiligano most likely being a lot less than those at Coimatua, the rebels learned to know to not engage if exhausted.
Even with that knowledge, the army went quickly to Jiligano, taking them 4 hours (plus rests) to reach the regions outside the city proper. Though, later the army stationed themselves in the outskirts, preparing for a major assault.

On the 23rd, that attack came. At first, a small force of 4 thousand attacked the city, resulting in a fair battle, where both sides lost casualties somewhat equally. But, unknowingly for rebels, it seemed obvious to the government that this was planned for a while. Of course a major city would be a target for attack, so many soldiers were stationed there. After 2 hours, the two sides had close to 3,200 fighters respectively. But, with government backing, the locals had an advantage by 4 thousand, ending up with the revolutionaries being blown out of the water. Learning about this, General Promìto sent his remaining force into battle, switching the advantage again.
And this came out perfectly for the rebels, a counter to the government's counter, which hadn't been accounted for. Along with the fact that the new rebel armies would come in from behind, an easy victory was secured, raking in an extra 2 thousand members for the revolution. Tje new revolutionary army had stayed at around 11 thousand members, even after the battles and leaving soldiers to defend the lands that had been taken over.
From there, the border should've been easy taking. But, the Velisenan government having heard about the losses allowed them to prepare a final army of nearly the same number to fight the revolutionaries.
That would take a while to get to though, which saw the revolution cruise past the flat-ish lands of the state border with minimal losses, and small gains.
These two sides would find themselves at eachothers' throats in Xìopondĩs, a tiny city of just 1,700 people, 18km from the Arvorenian border. This would be the biggest battle in the war so far, 11,362 thousand revolutionaries versus 10,961 nationalists, but with a nationalist high ground. Not only would this be the biggest battle so far, but also the longest. A 17 hour fight (7:41pm - 12:45pm) ensued in the outside of the city, where a nationalist army would begin with a massive barrage of bullets at the enemy, taking out around 1.4 thousand soldiers from the fight in the matter of 2 hours. Eventually, an incapable revolutionary army would head back down to the main city to take a break from the fighting, allowing the nationalists to also rest.
Then, Promìto decided to do something that had succeded prior. He sent a smaller army of 4 thousand to climb up the high lands and fight, hoping that a small, yet geographically-level side would dwindle the nationalists down enough to eliminate the rest with the other 10,000.
7:22am, March 27th, the army of 5,000 go to fight the nationalists. A still sleepy nationalist side situated at the top of the extreme hills loses around 2,000 soldiers due to little organization but manages to take out 1/5 of the rebels. The fighting continues for 1 hour, in which time the remaining rebel forces settle at the foot of the hills preparing for their companions to request help. By 9:30, the rebels are left at 2,000 and ask for reinforcement. Promìto's army charges up the hills, ambushing the nationalists and eliminating over 1/3 of them by 10:00. Meanwhile, the nationalists are unable to recover and attack both sides, leaving them unable to really attack. 12:30, the nationalists are outnumbered by over 2k and are being pushed in by both sides, by which point, nationalist General Ìuntũrad surrenders.

The attack sees the Camginja-Velisena border pretty much secured, and results in another tactical victory for the revolution.

But, the revolution clearly isn't that organized, as much as Garcovixa may believe it to be. It's definitely been dominant so far, but it is having its struggles, which may affect it when attempting to go for a major city. Which will be seen in a certain one very soon.

I thought people started thinking it was bad because they made a badly-written cartoon about accepting LGBTQ+ people

Yup.

Strange Aeons is especially good at digging up the absolutely off-the-wall fruitcake happenings.

(There's a person out there who wrote a Hamilton fanfic about AIDS, then faked having AIDS -- and all kinds of other stuff -- for years to avoid criticism.)

You, sir/ma'am/idk, clearly don't interact much with video game fandoms.

Another good show failed by its community and its creators. damn.

I rearly watched it, didn't like the whole story and how it looked... which is funny because i grew up watching Winx, Totally Spies and all that like the true masculine man that i am.

That's me with the Fallout franchise. People so love the America in the game, but it has turned into a complete dictatorship that suppresses revolt and is undergoing a resource crisis on all fronts it could've fixed. Then others simp for the Enclave, but they're made up of the descendants that made America into what it was before the bombs dropped, and seem to forget about their plans to kill everyone with a slight mutation because of the bombs. Some others choose Caesar from Caesar's Legion, a man that couldn't figure out philosophy even if he was dragged out of Hegel's Cave screaming and kicking. The whole Legion is made so "past mistakes aren't made and to get past the apocalypse", though next door is the NCR that is around the 1800's mostly, taking too many lessons from the worst parts of Rome.
