Greater cape

As the sun was rising over Guanabara Bay and showering a warm glow on the crisp autumn morning, Rose Pacheco was sitting at her new desk in the Ministry of International and Peace Affairs building in Rio de Janeiro. In so many days after having been appointed as her country's face to the world, Pacheco found herself working diligently and eagerly to extend Greater Cape's diplomatic reach beyond the South American continent. Feeling rather elated after having been contacted by her government's first foreign power, Pacheco reviewed the memo placed squarely on her desk: "Rose, we need to ensure that we establish relations with the Organization of American States, and become involved as soon as possible." Having worked so closely with her friend and colleague President Gonçalves to campaign for an electoral victory, Pacheco understood the importance of such a task. Sat across from her were her two aides, fastidiously taking notes and preparing the official brief that would be submitted to the OAS.

"Ok, guys, let's get to work."

Press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

The ROC stands on the position previously taken, which sees the Hellenic League guilty of boycotting the CIS elections.
And his position is only getting worse, after trying to discredit our closest ally, FEUSSR, by making useless accusations against him, which later turned out to be false, facts that threatened to undermine the nation's relations with other nations.
We have great faith in the Indochinese system and we hope that the real culprit, or culprits, of such despicable acts can be discovered and that he will suffer the right sanctions.
The ROC does not take any measures against the nation that will be the real culprit, neither now nor ever for an action taken by a few, and only these "few" will have to answer for it.

We hope not to have to go back to the question again.

After carefully reviewing the dossier containing information regarding the functions and requirements of OAS member states, the Federative Republic of Greater Cape accepts admission thereto. As a developing American economy and heretofore sole South American nation, the Capetão government sees membership in the Organization of American States as integral to our country’s safety and security.

The Federative Republic of Greater Cape wishes to make it known to the world that, whereas membership in the OAS is an important step in securing our diplomatic position on the world stage, we would be remiss to not develop strong relations with other governments and multinational organizations. As such, our government welcomes all recognized nations to establish diplomatic missions within our fair nation.

THE DUBAI SUMMIT

Last week, Infinian minister of Foreign Affairs Xitan Minenko met with President of the Democratic People's Republic of Yemen Mohammed al-Harazi, Caliph Muhammad bin Omar Alladeen of The mashriq khilafat, and Reyhan Mahmoud, senior foreign advisor in the Yemeni State in order to discuss the pressing situation of the Yemeni Civil War and the international response to the fall of Aden.

The fall of Aden to the Yemeni State can have serious ramifications for international trade. Instability in the Gulf of Malao would impact Infinian and Mashriqi economic goals, as well as the trade between Europe and Asia in general. For both nations, an immediate resolution to the conflict that keeps international shipping lanes protected would have to be arranged, while guaranteeing the right to life of so many Yemenis who fear for their life in the ongoing civil war. The treaty stipulations outline the recognition of the Yemeni State as the legitimate government of South Yemen, whereas Mr. al-Harazi and his government shall be provided aslyum in Mogadishu as the Government-in-exile of the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen. The Imperial Federation and the Mashriqi Caliphate shall not back Mr. al-Harazi's claims to be the legitimate president of Yemen.

Both the Imperial Federation and the Mashriqi Caliphate will see to the most humanitarian solution to any border transgressions of Yemeni refugees into their lands, in order to minimize both the effects of brain drain and human suffering caused by individuals fleeing the regime of the Yemeni State.

In return, the Yemeni State shall offer immediate amnesty to all factions willing to lay down their arms and commit to a peaceful rebuilding of South Yemen. The Yemeni State shall abstain from punishment campaign to the citizens trapped within rebel-held territory. May they take punitive action against civilians, the Imperial Federation and the Mashriqi Caliphate reserve the fullest rights to intervene.

The Imperial Federation has expressed pride towards the results of the summit, and hopes it will serve as the fundament to a renewed peace in the Arabian Peninsula.

The hellenes league wrote:The F-16 spins out of control. Theodora is pulling hard on the mechanism made to pop the canopy open and lift her out of the plane to eject. The flight control is dead and another pilot is yelling to eject. Finally, with one hard pull it happens. She ejects and soon after lands hard in a field.

Around is the sound of gun fire, and beyond the ridge she hears Bulgarian soldiers closing in on her position. She runs off into the woods with her pistol in hand, luckily with nothing broken.

Theodora tosses and turns in her sleep, jerking awake.

She looks to her left and Dmitri isn’t there. He hasn’t been there for a few weeks now. He’s back home in Romanovskaya and she’s in Cyprus at her barracks. She sighs and begins to think of Dmitri, of her time in Vyborg and seeing the amazing sights in his home country.

She begins to think of him, and appreciates that with her being a royal family member that she gets her own room.

Soon before the sun rises she calls Dmitri. He picks up after a few rings and with his sleepy voice she came to love, he says in Russian “Hello sweetie, how are you?”

Before she says anything else she says “ Я люблю тебя”

Prince Dmitri was in his office at RGT Group HQ when he gets a call. Dmitri regularly arrives at work very early in the morning, often working until late evening. He was not expecting to see Theodora ringing at this time. He picks up the phone, and hears Theodoras voice.

"I am doing just fine, dealing with a few overseas clients this morning. And how are you darling?"

Theodora tells Dmitri about her bad dream. Dmitri had already been quite anxious about Theodoras involvement in the conflict. He comforts her over the phone and calms her. He spoke about how he misses her very much and yearns for the day that she will return to Vyborg. After chatting for a few minutes, Dmitri changes the topic.

"I told my sister Zephyrine about our relationship. She was very happy to hear the news and said she can't wait to meet you. She did however warn about the inevitable tsunami of news stories and articles that will come our way when our relationship is made public, particularly in the media here. I suppose it just reminded me that this will be no normal relationship. We will be scrutinised by the press and will be judged unfairly by some."

Dmitri took a breath as he leaned back into his office chair.

"While I worry about your safety now in the conflict, I fear even after if you do come back to Vyborg the media and the people here may not welcome you. I love you very much and don't want you to get hurt. I need you to tell me you definitely want this and are committed to our relationship because if it goes forward, you realise you will have to put the Romanov family and Romanovskaya first. I understand this will not be easy given your service to your own family and the Hellenic League."

Latest SNC Opinion Polls

The results from the latest opinion polls conducted by SNC TV have been counted and there are some interesting results. 1000 respondants were asked a variety of questions regarding politics and their views on the various organisations around the world.

The first question asked was on support for the current Shchegolyayeva government. We can reveal that support for the government has increased by a massive 11 points to 73% when compared to the previous poll conducted by SNC TV. The main reason for this surge in support comes from the announcement of the Puteyskaya Financial District Project which has already seen a boost to the construction sector.

The next question was regarding Romanovskaya joining the UAN. Last year as we know Romanovan citizens voted to reject joining the UAN by 51.7% while 48.3% supported joining. That support has now plumetted to just 31% according to our survey. Responders cited that they felt the UAN was a largely ineffective organisation and would simply be a waste of time and money for Romanovskaya to participate in.

Responders were also asked their opinion on the ICC. The organisation has a strong presence in eastern Europe with Romanovskaya bordering one of its founding members, Cccp-. Of course Romanovskaya's relationship with the Soviet Union remains strained and this reflects on peoples attitudes towards the wider ICC. Aside from the fact a number of its members have socialist governments, they see the annexation of territories around Europe by ICC members as something Romanovskaya should be very concerned about. As such 91% of people saw the ICC as a threat to Romanovan sovreignty.

Egypt constructs sewage treatment plants at cost of EGP 31bn ($1.9bn)

May, Cairo - Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has said that 151 dual and triple wastewater treatment plants are being implemented across Egypt, at a cost of EGP 31bn ($1.9bn). The total capacity of the plants stands at 5.051 million cubic metres per day. This comes in addition to 59 treatment plants, of which 37 are dual treatment and 22 are triple treatment, which have been completed in Upper Egypt to serve 8.3 million people.

The minister said that the state has directed to establish dual and triple treatment plants for sanitation, in order to provide sewage service for citizens. They also aim to maximise the use of every drop of water, and reuse treated water for the designated purposes. The minister added that a plan had previously been developed to maximise the use of available water resources and conserve water consumption. This was aimed at preserving this important resource, and to optimally utilise every drop of water to achieve the greatest benefit from it.

“The plan works on two main axes, first, providing alternative sources of drinking water, through desalination of water in coastal governorates,” The minister said, “Secondly, the plan aims for the re-use of treated water, through expansion in the establishment of sewage treatment plants in Upper Egypt, raising the efficiency of treatment plants, converting them into triple treatment plants, and improving quality of wastewater.”

He further noted that that 14 seawater desalination plants are being implemented, with a total capacity of 476,000 cubic metres per day, at a cost of EGP 9.71bn ($574mn), in the governorates of Matrouh, the Red Sea, North Sinai, South Sinai, Port Said, Daqahleya, Suez, and Alexandria. In addition to the 76 existing desalination plants, with a total capacity of 831,690 m3/day, in the governorates of North Sinai, South Sinai, Red Sea, Matrouh, Ismailia, and Suez. This will bring the total to 90 desalination plants with a total capacity of 1.3 billion cubic metres per day.

Warmest regards, your excellency. It is with great pleasure that I, on behalf of my government and nation, reach my proverbial hand across the Pacific Ocean in salutations and friendship. My ministry and I have been doing extensive research on your beautiful country, and believe that we share many qualities and ideals in common. Ours are both large, urbanized, and developing countries that straddle the equator; who we are today is grounded in our collective pasts as former colonial dominions; our histories, peoples, and landscapes are defined by the tropics and the verdant rainforests that hold so many treasures, resources, and secrets; and ours are governments that respect and protect the ideals of democracy. It is for these, and many more, reasons that my government wishes to establish formal diplomatic relations between our two great countries. For you see, your excellency, my government acknowledges that your nation serves as an important diplomatic bridge, especially given your nation's status as a peaceful, well connected liberal democracy. Being a member of both the Asian Union and the Global Muslim League, your country is an integral conduit to the rest of the world. As such, we would be remiss to not recognize the necessity a relationship with your country represents.

Your excellency, I wish to invite you, or a member of your ministry, to Rio de Janeiro to meet with both President Gonçalves and myself so that we might foster a bright future between our two countries. We wish to establish a Eulumian embassy in Rio de Janeiro, to discuss future economic and infrastructural collaborations and projects, and share contacts with like-minded international partners.

I eagerly await your reply, and have the highest of hopes for future bilateral cooperation between the Federal Republic of Eulumia and the Federative Republic of Greater Cape.

Beginning of the End - Part I: Lost and Confused

Three people were standing in front of the Mailam Memorial Statue, each holding an umbrella to stop the harsh, pouring rain from hitting them. The each stared up the towering statue looking at the face of the late Chairman Mailam. They stood in a horizontal line, side-by-side. "It's a real shame as to what happened to him. It's also a shame that he didn't get to face real justice." said the one in the middle. "What do you mean, Anna?" asked the one on their right. "I mean, the lives he threw away just because he felt like it. He had the power to help the nation and yet, he never did. If anyone spoke against him, you wouldn't see the end of the week." they explained. "Now, you can say practically anything you want, but only because the current government can't even properly figure out who interfered." they continued.

Anna stopped looking up the statue and looked forward at the plaque in front of her. "This is all a show. A distraction. A glorification of a monster. That's what this whole nation is. If you can step on enough toes, you may see the inside of the buildings in Nakhonruang. My father told me that after the Samakkhi Civil War, there was peace in Indochina. The Chairman did everything he could to rebuild the nation and then to make it prosper. Slowly but surely, it fell into the same routine as the kingdoms did prior. Power invested in one person may seem good on paper, but it is never good in practice." she said. The one on her left spoke up. "So, what do you want to do about it?" they asked. Anna looked at them. "I want to end it, Yai. I want to make sure people have a voice, I want to make sure that people can actually be heard and not have to rely on the feeling of the top person. They can't have that much power. They can't have that much say and not have any consequences for when things go wrong!" she exclaimed. Yai nodded, agreeing with Anna.

The one on the right, Koran, spoke up. "Three reports in less than a month. Each one contradicting the last. We're supposed to believe that they have our back, yet they can't even get this straight." he said. He looked at Anna and Yai. "I hear they don't even know when Son Chai is anymore. They lost him and now they're hunting him down in Indochina. I heard rumors that he's relaxing in the Hellenic League, and other rumors that he's relaxing in Beijing. Wherever he is, he was smart to leave." he said, ending with a chuckle. Anna and Yai chuckled as well. Anna looked down at her feet, staring at the puddle which formed around her. "If something doesn't change soon, Indochina is ****ed. Someone has to do something. We have to do something!" she exclaimed as she looked from Koran to Yai. She looked down again. "Maybe we can force our way in. Gain power through the United Assembly and force the Chairman to help the people of Indochina." she said.

"You do realize nearly impossible that would be, right? It would take ages for that to happen!" said Koran. "True. I just... I just don't know what to do." she sighed. Yai put his hand on her shoulder, followed by Koran. She looked up and looked towards both of them. "Whatever you decide, we're behind you, Anna. It's about time Indochinese citizens had a real voice." said Yai. Koran spoke to both of them. "Now, come on. My shoes aren't exactly waterproof and we've been standing here for a bit. My feet are soaked." he said. Anna laughed and then they all agreed to go to a restaurant to eat and then head home. Little did they know, this was the beginning of the end.

Swedish Police Authority in Stockholm announces bolstering of numbers

In the wake of the deadly shooting that occurred under a month ago on the streets of Kalmar, the Swedish Police Authority in the area has announced the hiring of 16 new, trained peace officers, also claiming that a few are "ex-military servicemen", seemingly in an attempt to ward off any potential shooters. This announcement was met with ridicule on social media; with a few anonymous users claiming that their "plans for mass shootings have been cancelled".

As well, the GPBU has voted on a motion to begin the process of voting on a bill that would make Kalmar a government-exclusion zone, making it an area administered directly by PM Busk and the GPBU, with it being exempt from local Swedish law (also effectively dissolving the local Swedish Police Authority).

FEUSSR develops new phototherapy technology for chemo

KUM-SOK CITY — A research team from the Chosun Institute of Science and Technology (CIST) has developed a phototherapy technology that can significantly increase efficiency while reducing the pain of chemotherapy and minimizing side effects after treatment.

According to the Institute, this new technology will be able to completely eliminate cancer cells through phototherapeutic means without side effects, requiring one injection and repeated phototherapy only to achieve results. The project was the result of joint collaboration between the Goryeo Daehakgyo and Kum City National University, both of which are top universities in the Chosun SSR. It is based on a cancer treatment mode that uses light to selectively destroy cancer cells, a method which inherently brings far fewer side effects than radiation therapy or general chemotherapy, allowing for repeated treatment with minimal risk. However, the therapy requires constant injections and dark room isolation to function properly, which is inconvenient for most patients.

The new developments make use of peptides that selectively target cancer tissues as a means to resolve the problems associated with the phototherapy technology. The research team developed a peptide-based photosensitizer that activates phototherapeutic effects only in cancer tissues by using the internalizing RGD peptide (iRGD) that can selectively penetrate and target cancer tissues, and by proper design for the modulation of its reaction to light. This photosensitizer is activated by body temperature, aggregates into a planned supramolecular arrangement, and stores itself around tumours.

The phototherapeutic agent developed by the researchers was injected into a mouse model implanted with a tumor, and the photosensitizer was stored around the tumor and was continuously released across a span of 2 to 4 weeks, showing how this new technology yields more or less the same cancer-targeting abilities without any side effects, such as the short lifespan of treatment or toxicity from chemicals. Repeated use of the new agents were able to completely remove cancerous tissues.

Reports have shown extensive usage of paratroopers and heavy artillery pieces, although to what extent is currently unknown. What is known however, that in total 17 warships are partaking in this exercise to varying degrees. "Take a seat" Ahmed Shawqi said, as he gestured to a seat opposite to his office desk. He was addressing the new head of the General Intelligence Directorate, or Mukhabarat as it's commonly known inside of Egypt, Mansour Amir. Mansour was a man in his 60s, however his body was that of a military officer half his age, largely due to the extensive and hard training needed to reach this high of a position.

"Thanks" Mansour said as he sat down. "Would you like anything? Coffee, tea, water?" Shawqi asked Mansour. "No thanks, shall we get right to business?" Mansour replied, "I believe you called me here to discuss the General Intelligence Directorate role in the upcoming years under your administration?" he continued

"Indeed, look Mansour, when i see the Mukhabarat, i see the right hand of the state. The protector of the revolution from reactionary threats, the entity holding the country together at times of crisis. This is why I think the Military's and the Intelligence partnership is vital. See Mansour, I want everything that happens in this country to be under my knowledge. I want all the media tightly controlled under our watch, All the mail opened, every telephone wiretapped, not one internet email gets sent without as knowing it's content." Shawqi explain to Mansour. "

I don't see what happened a year ago as a coup, I see it as a revolution. A revolution to return Egypt to it's rightful place as one of the leaders of the world. A revolution to correct the mistakes of those that corrupted the 1952 revolution. A revolution to groom Egypt's potential. And to do that, the revolution must be protected under all costs, which is where you come in" Shawqi continued

Mansour looked deep in thought, "This is not going to be easy, and if it ever comes out it isn't going to be a good look for you. But I can do that, however I would need an improved budget and more manpower. Doing what you are asking in a country as large as Egypt is no small thing" he explained

"Whatever you ask for, I will provide. I also want any information about this to be swept under the rug. Nobody outside the agency should hear a word or know about this, and i don't want any files to be written on this. Understood?" Shawqi replied

Mansour stood up from his seat, he had to start preparing for what he was asked to do as soon as possible, and replied "Understood".

New research into anti-aging treatments makes surprise discovery

Everyone loses their youthful glow eventually, as the process of aging drags on. But while age is the single most unifying quality of humans, it's also a multifaceted and complex phenomenon, leaving scientists baffled for centuries — with many wondering whether a unifying causal mechanism underlies aging, or if it's caused by a composite result of several disparate factors.

However, scientists recently found that DNA damage is responsible for most — if not all — features of aging, which hints at the possibility of a unifying cause behind the way time drags us down, according to a recent study published in the journal Nature.

A team of researchers at the Texas Biomedical Research Institute, working with neuroscientists from MIT discovered an enzyme — known as HDAC1 — that might be vital in repairing age-related DNA damage to cognitive and memory-linked genes. HDAC1 levels are lowered in people suffering from Alzheimer's, and the elderly in general. But the MIT researchers suggested we might reverse the effects of aging or cognitive loss in their study. In it, the scientists noticed how DNA damage in mice was correlated with lowered levels of HDAC1 enzyme, but then improved after injection with a drug that (re-)activates the enzyme.

"It seems that HDAC1 is really an anti-aging molecule," said the Director of MIT's Picower Institute for Learning and Memory Li-Huaei Tsai, who was also senior author of the study, in a Science Daily report. "I think this is a very broadly applicable basic biology finding, because nearly all of the human neurodegenerative diseases only happen during aging."

"I would speculate that activating HDAC1 is beneficial in many conditions," added LiHuaei Tsai.

And perhaps with more research into the newer study — which suggests that DNA damage is responsible for most (if not all) aging symptoms in humans, efforts can be made to focus the development of the HDAC1 enzyme-activating drug and the finding that reversed aging in mice by 54%. This work could ultimately lead to new and better ways to restore DNA to its youthful glory, and give ordinary people a chance to overcome their social or economic disadvantages.

After all, with a long enough timeline, nearly everyone could ultimately improve their lives beyond the limits in which most are born.

The data, which is being shared with other research centers in the nation and around, shows great promise and may be the key to unlocking the benefits rejuvenation treatments. International researchers as always are welcome to attend to the meeting and also take part in the ongoing research.

The future of ageing?

SHENCHENG — The Far Eastern International Medical Association (FEIMA), one of the largest and most influential medical associations in the FEUSSR, has expressed a willingness to collaborate with the Texas Biomedical Research Institute and take part in the ongoing research for the HDAC1 enzyme study.

The Far Eastern International Medical Association is the FEUSSR's first healthcare and welfare organization, which is comprised with over 30 general and special hospitals with skilled medical teams and well-supported international medical services. Recognised by the government as entities with experience in specialist, advanced medical activities, the FEIMA aims to contribute to the international community by providing medical education and medical service for all.

As part of the FEIMA's plans to promote the status of Asian medical care to people from all over the world, it plans to invest heavily in the HDAC1 enzyme-activating drug as a potential treatment for neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's by repairing one's cognition and memory. As such, FEIMA will dispatch an envoy of 50 doctors to take part in American research efforts in Texas, while also petitioning for data sharing so results can hopefully be replicated in Asia. In Asia, larger pools of data can be acquired, and coupled with the reliability of medical institutions within the FEUSSR, research will be of a higher quantity and quality. Its potential is limitless.

Beginning of the End - Part II: An Explosive Reaction

It was late at night in Hanoi. Thirty Hanoi locals gathered at a bar, which closed about an hour ago, to listen to this activist named Sakda Chuan speak. Sakda had become really popular as of recent, spewing his beliefs about how the people of Indochina should be treated. Many people believed in his cause, but didn't really believe the change could come. Despite that, they listened to him as he spoke to at least be able to dream of the nation he was describing.

"From the Kingdom of Samakkhi to the Confederation of Indochinese States to the Unitary State of Indochina, no one -- and I mean no one -- has held the power we have been promised. We have to sit around waiting for our next meal when the majority of people in other nations don't have to worry about if they're going to eat at all today. Nakhonruang spews lies that they care about us, and that they're doing everything to help us! They don't help us! All they care about is the military and how good they look to other nations. Last week, Troopers came into my house to search for any links to terrorism. All because of my differing beliefs, they label me as a terrorist to the unity of this nation." said Sakda before turning around momentarily to catch himself. He turned back around to speak again to the people that had gathered. "Nakhonruang doesn't care about the Indochinese people. They never have and never will. We're treated as disposable in the workplace and as soldiers. The problem? The office of the Chairman." he said.

He took a sip of water and then continued speaking. "Some people like to call Indochina a "people's republic", but there's nothing about Indochina that can be described by either word. The people are nothing to the High Government, and our elections are a sham. Hell, they can't even figure out who rigged the election we just had! It's their own fault, anyways! They don't want to come out and say it so they blame other nations. They do everything in their power to stop us from deciding how this nation should be ran. We need people in power that can guarantee our freedoms and can guarantee that our voices will be heard! The High Government and the upper classes look down on us! We are nothing but parasites to them, despite making sure this nation can stay on its feet. We are worked to the bone and barely get compensated! It's unjust and unfair. It's high time someone did something about it!" exclaimed Sakda. People in the bar looked at each other for a second because Sakda never spoke about actually acting on anything.

"We need to show them that their actions against us have dire consequences! Who's with me?" he asked as he raised his fist. The thirty other people in the bar hesitated for a moment, and then raised their fists as well, yelling out to Sakda. "After all this time speaking, I can finally say we can do something instead of just using words. Actions speak louder than words and we're going to use that. Tomorrow night, we attack the Trooper outpost outside of Hanoi. They don't have control over us anymore!" exclaimed Sakda. The people in the bar yelled in agreement. The people that have listened to Sakda for some time now and were just waiting on some sort of action. Many believed this day would never come, but here it was.

One of the attendees spoke up with a question. "You do realize that attacking a Trooper outpost is suicide, right?" they asked. Sakda nodded. "That's why were aren't going to attack it directly. There's a hill overlooking it. When we can, we're going to take so mortars and set them up to bomb the place. No one will be there since they have training that day. They'll be gone to headquarters and the place will be locked up. They'll come back to a bombed outpost." said Sakda with a smirk. He picked up his phone. "You'll all be given the coordinates to where we have to meet. Be there and we can finally start showing Nakhonruang and those in power why they shouldn't mess with us!" exclaimed Sakda, yelling at the end. Everyone in the bar cheered and yelled in a agreement along with Sakda.

Beginning of the End - Part III: Killing One Bird with Two Stones

Unbeknownst to Sakda in Hanoi, Anna and her group were also planning an attack on the same night as the Trooper outpost attack outside of Hanoi. Anna's target wasn't outside any city, however. It was in Saigon, itself. More specifically, she was targeting the Saigon Hall. She was with Yai, Koran, and a few others as she was planning the attack.

"We're going to take out that retched statue and we're going to do it when no-one else is around. I don't want to hurt anyone that didn't do anything to us. I found the perfect time to do it, and it's tomorrow night." she said to the group. Yai looked at her. "How are we going to do that? We'd get caught by guards before we even get close enough to plant any explosives." critiqued Yai. Anna nodded. "That's why we're not going to use planted explosives to take it out. I managed to snag some rocket-propelled grenades and their launchers. Gifts from the brother of yours truly." said Anna. Koran and Yai looked at Anna in disbelief. "Your brother robbed the Troopers?!" they asked in bewilderment at the same time. A quick expression of confusion wiped across Anna's face. "What? No. He isn't in Indochina. I had these smuggled in." Koran's and Yai's expressions calmed slightly. "Where did he get these, then?" asked Yai. Anna shrugged. "I don't know, honestly. He doesn't say much about what he does. He just helps me with whatever I need. He was super excited about this, for some reason." she explained.

She looked around the room at Yai, Koran, and the other three people that were there. "There are going to be four lookouts, and two attackers. Koran and I are going to be the attackers, while the rest of you are on look-out." she explained. One of the three spoke up with a question. "What will we be on the lookout for?" they asked. Anna smirked at them. "Good question. You're going to be diverting anyone that tries to walk near the hall. We also managed to snag some outfits for you that resemble Trooper outfits. Well, Troopers when they're not in riot gear. You'll be dressed as Trooper Security Officers. The only problem is that if you see an actual Trooper, get out as quickly as you can and then warn us." she said. The person that spoke up nodded. "Once the rockets are fired, we need to get out of there as fast as possible. I've planned for us to hideout... here." she said as she pointed to a location on the map in front of everyone. "Are you all with me?" she asked. Everyone nodded and voiced that they stood with her.

"Good. We'll meet at this marked location first, travel to the statue. Carry out the attack, then we quickly get to the hideout. There, we can dispose of the weapons and then be on our way back here. Understood?" everyone nodded. Anna nodded back. "Now, if anyone doesn't wish to do this, this is the moment to step out. You may have agreed, but this will make us fugitives. We may be the thing that distracts them from the election." she said. Koran spoke up. "If we weren't with you, we wouldn't be here. This is necessary. We've tried reasoning and by elections. Neither worked. All Nakhonruang knows is violence. We'll fight their violence with our violence. Khan loves that statue for some reason. We can take away his toy and see how he reacts. We'll be fine!" said Koran with a smile. Anna nodded. She looked around at everyone once again. "You all know the plan. I'll see you all when I see you." she said before everyone went their own way.

Breaking News: Two Attacks in Indochina Minutes Apart

"Hello everyone, I'm Ya Chai Wi'lepana and we have breaking news tonight! Moments ago we received reports about an attack against the Trooper outpost outside of Hanoi. The troopers are unaware of where the attack was launched from, but survivors said that explosions were raining down upon them. Not long after those reports, we received another report from Saigon, just outside of Saigon Hall. Eyewitnesses told reporter Khun Mae Chao that they saw what appeared to be two rockets fly towards Saigon Hall. One made contact with the Mailam Memorial Statue and the other made contact with Saigon Hall. We do not yet know if anyone was injured in the Saigon attack.

Two attacks in one night. Chairman Khan I said that they are investigating the incidents as terrorist attacks. He believes this is a revival of the terrorist organization that killed the late Chairman Mailam. People are worried that these attacks won't be solved, however, due to the crisis going on with the election and the disappearance of the former Indochinese Investigation Agency Director Son Chai. We'll keep you updated as more information surfaces about these two horrifying attacks.".

Church Agios Nikolaos, Astipalea

“You certainly can speak a few different languages when you’re being dunked in a water tank.”

The EYP agent pushes the mans head back into the tank. The man tries to hold back but water rushes into his lungs.

Pericles Legeas walks into the room. He looks at the man in with his head underwater. He smiles.

“Agent, let up. That’s no way to treat a world leader, now is it?” He grabs the man out of the tank by his shirt collar. He coughs up water.

“President Kozen. You were selected for a well earned position in the Mehmed Republic. New leader of the Ottomans since we “killed” the last guy.”

Kozen coughs up more and speaks in Turkish.

“You piece of sh*t”. He tries to spit on Pericles but ends up coughing even more.

“Yep, the other guy is locked away in a cell. He did his part well. We grabbed him before the bomb went off. And now we have you.” Pericles walks over to a cabinet and opens it, pulling out a bottle of wine.

“I figured we should have some wine for your state visit. Would you like to negotiate peace terms or do you want to wait for the Armenians to join us at the table?” He grabs a cup and fills it with wine, and slides it over to Kozen. An agent unties him and Kozen grabs the cup. But doesn’t sip.”

“Oh Christ Kozen it’s not poisoned. I wouldn’t do that to you. I like the enhanced interrogation tactics myself.” Pericles stares at Kozen with a stern look. “Drink, Mr. President.”

Kozen begins drinking his wine. It’s good wine he thinks to himself.

“Now...Kozen...this war between us needs to end. We’ve been doing this for over a year now. The people are tired.” Pericles opens up another bottle of wine for himself.

“Legeas, we will not stop until you are gone. Until your troops are out of Anatolia. Out of what is ours.” He also stares at Pericles.

Pericles takes a sip of wine. “You have no room to negotiate here. Ankara will be ours by the end of the week. In the East Kurdish forces run over your army.”

Kozen knows the situation. The war is all but lost. “We won’t give up.”

Pericles slowly stands up. He has a bottle of wine in hand. He grabs it by the neck and slams it over the head of President Kozen.

Kozen screams as the bottle breaks. Wine and blood drip down over his face. He looks up at Pericles who has no emotions on his face. The 2 EYP agents are caught off guard but make no move.

Calmly, Pericles begins to talk.

“You did this to yourself. You have no room here to make threat. You are little. You are pathetic. You are a tool in a war. Bombs went off in Indochina today. Elections are thrown off. Rome is collapsing from the inside. You think that is random? The world on fire as usual? I am the fire, Kozen. Archon Metraw? Gone.” Pericles remains calm, his face with no emotion.

Kozen in pain looks up at Pericles again.

“Why are you admitting this?” He tries to wipe his face off but EYP agents grab his arms and tie him back up.

Pericles reaches to his hip. He turns around and walks away. He turns around with a gun drawn, pointed at Kozen.

Three shots ring out. Kozen slumps in the chair and the EYP agents fall to the ground.

Pericles walks out of the church. Outside additional EYP agents walk in to grab the bodies. All the evidence is removed. The church is deep cleaned and ready for visits next week when it re-opens.
