How does passing legislation affects your country? I've heard it'll change your graphs, but how much? Few percents? A lot?

The most important question for me. How does ALREADY PASSED legislation affects my country? For example, there are anti-slavery legislation on WA. If my country has slavery and I join the WA, will it be banned in an instant? And what about the issues? If I'll become a member, I'll never get a slavery issue because it's prohibited by WA? Please, explain how WA affects your country as clear as possible, so I'd decide whether my great nation wants to be part of it or nah.

WA resolutions are mostly just RP from what I can tell, tons of nations have policies that break WA resolutions but since the WA and the game itself aren't super connected, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Also, it will affect you, but from my experience the worst it could do is take civil rights down by one or two points. I don't have the best understanding of the system, but as someone that's played since 2020 I figure I have a bit of experience.

Y’all, what did happen with North Corlien tho?

Erm… dang wish I’d payed more attention to the RMB instead of briefly reading through messages.

Damn, really? I thought it's really strict, like, you can't imagine countries openly breaking irl UN resolution and not be condemned. So, the WA is mostly RP thing and has barely no effect. To be fair it's a little bit disappointing, I'd really prefer it to be more influential over your policies, but thanks for clarification.

According to the country where nardlings doth dwell:

Nardin wrote:They were using our embassy privileges to spam homophobic messages in another region, and even sent homophobic telegrams to a nation there, both of which are against our rules and terrible things to do in general, I'm sure you would agree.

Skoldanjor wrote:So I can't ask questions anymore? I used to play Nationstates and it was chill, but now it's just accusations.

I'm sorry to jump on the bandwagon, but this does seem awfully suspicious in particular.
You're acting extremely defensive about something that normally wouldn't be a big deal. In most cases, people don't jump to accusing the RMB of being paranoid unless they're trying to cover something up. I mean, I'm not accusing anyone of anything, but this screams "I'm trying to cover my tracks."

Oh.
😐 well that’s a shame.

Nations as members of the WA can create WA legislation to condemn other nations but again i think it’s just roleplay, I don’t know if you get like a little badge or anything.

I mean, if the WA had control over your policies, Psychotic Dictatorships would be essentially shadowbanned, so I'm actually glad that they give you the option to be a tyrannical menace if you want to. I'd imagine it's pretty fun!

In IRL, unfortunately resolution UN most impactful on countries in Europe, but I agree with this.

But also sometimes in this game dictatorship or other option pretty fun, more options to choose.

Unfortunately, I'm not able make a poll for my citizens, but we allow all religions in my nationstate, probably Christianity and Islam largest here.
P.S Don't like cultist thing in my nationstate.

Most Estellanians aren't religious, but I guess Scandinavian Christianity is the largest, even though most of the time the religious folks aren't super vocal about it and tend to be pretty moderate.

Most Skalliadians believe in Guns, Weapons and Armaments. But that's a half-joke. In fact, most of them are atheists

Barcelona is beating Paris Saint Germain right now, thank goodness, only God knows how much I hate PSG.

Day two of the UCl Quarterfinals!! Barcelona had a great 3-2 victory against PSG. Hoping the next leg will bring just as much excitement. Jeez wonder what other 3-2 game there was, maybe a hat trick?

Atlético de Madrid got an easy 2-1 victory against Borriusa Dortmund. Could be trouble for BVB as they travel to Spain in their next leg. El Otro Clásico for the semifinals maybe 👀

For us, Prussian Protestant, almost everyone is Christian, that's just the largest division.
