Ah great, now are the Italians who are spreading the disease worldwide, just like in Mexico

At this point, why not ban every single flight coming from an infected country? Smh

That’s true. American passengers are in a 2 week quarantine, but person to person spread it still happening.

That’s..... too extreme. It would effectively render all air travel useless as all hubs have been hit. The US, UK, France, Germany, China, HK, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Canada and many other nations have cases already. To ban a country that has its cases well under control is illogical and would severely damage diplomatic relations with said nation.

I rather do that than to risk my country's people ngl

What country do you live in?

Italian?
I bet, it won’t reach Ethiopia

Does your country have the necessary infrastructure to support multiple coronavirus cases?

Is your country a major country with important international connections?

So you're basically halting all international travel between most known nations?

Firstly, I, by getting infected will be able to spread the disease without even noticing, starting a chain of infection, secondly, the more people it infects, the higher the chance the virus can mutate into a deadlier strain. Happened with Ebola in 2014, with 4 times the cases it can surely happen again.

well, take a look at the flu. it infects countless people every year. now we have a cure so its not deadly. farther more, it never mutated into being significantly more deadly. it preferred being infectious. since the corona virus is even more optimized for infection, chances are its even less likely to mutate into something deadly than the flu is. "The duration and severity of influenza epidemics vary, however, depending on the virus subtype involved. The World Health Organization estimates that worldwide, annual influenza epidemics result in about 3-5 million cases of severe illness and about 250,000 to 500,000 deaths."

if the flu hasnt become a monster after 100 years, then with the corona virus having an even smaller chance of becoming a monster due to its optimizations for infectivity over lethalness more so than the flu, i doubt it will mutate into something bad any time soon. by then we will have probably found a way to cure or at least treat/prevent it effectively.

What year are you living in where we have a cure for the flu? Plus there's the Spanish flu but that's not a common strain anymore so that's irrelevant. As with any coronavirus its strongest against the weak (children, elderly) so it's not gonna have as huge of an effect as other more deadly viruses.

I looked at Cytioch's schedule for the next two games. They play Piseron and the Tropics, both away games. Yeah, it's expected that Cytioch is going to get murdered in those next two games. Their chances of getting a goal against the Tropics, the best defending team in the league, is slim to none.

we dont have a "cure" but we have vaccines for the flu that prevent most noticeable infections and pretty much remove its presence in a near to fully vaccinated country and might as well be a cure at that point.

That's true but prevention =/= cure, two very different things

i know. but if you fully prevent something, you eradicate it. like we did to small pox and nearly done to polio. so if you reach full prevention, that counts as a cure in my book.

if an epidemic gets out of hand, just create your own hazmat suit out of things like grocery bags, gloves, waterproof duct tape, and those breathing masks or any other materials that may be better to cover your entire body and cloth and shoes. with that, you could craft your own homemade hazmat suit for no more than 50-100$ that would completely protect you from the virus. you would need to clean it before taking it off, but simple cleaners have proven effective in killing the corona virus. so this is pretty much an easy way to survive a corona virus epidemic should it happen and get bad somehow. i really don't see why china doesn't do this... would be a cheap way to stop the virus dead in its tracks...

If its necessary to stop the spread of a potentially deadly global pandemic, yes
