II. Citizens who decide to not roleplay and prepare instead, cannot lose their spots due to roleplay inactivity until the new timeline begins.

Liberalina, this should be taken out, if you can't maintain activity as the allotted time, you can't be allowed just to sit on land when other players may wanna RP there, including future players that join us.

That makes ZERO sense, and if you wanna make that silly argument, technically we shall always be switching since timelines always end, the difference is with this one, the people have voted for a time warning to wrap up and enjoy this one.

Preparing could just be working on a factbook every now and then, and it's clear working on factbooks don't count the same as RPing.

Bomoko for one, wants to RP the big Congo, but your sitting on it, seems to me that you literally wrote that in just to protect the fact that you have one of the largest spots in Africa and yet you intend to possibly do nothing for the next 3 months lmao

I don't mind removing it, provided all the co-sponsors are okay with it; but its really just 10 or 15 people posting one liners every 12 days.

Preparing, researching, factbooks etc are just as valid as roleplaying in my opinion.

Well people still have to contribute to the RP world, you're calling to allow people to do nothing for 3 months, and somehow still keep their land.

If you don't wanna RP with us, then sit out, work on factbooks, and hope that by the summer switch, its open — otherwise do consider RPing with us, it's a game, enjoy it with us.

I disagree with this as well, Liberalina, there are no legal standards for our court to intervene on player-to-player contracts. There is nothing in our laws, for example, to determine whether Russia or a Ukrainian rebellion player is in the right or wrong, we have established land rights and player-to-player solutions that have fixed that since the founding of the COL. What Basis are they gonna determine their rulings by, what they feel personally?

In any case i'll just do one liners but its very much dumb to force people to roleplay when were time switching, hence why waiting 4 months to switch is insane.

Personally i view it like this, if we force through an earlier date (when literally everybody wants a later date), then you are forcing people to stop RPing the current timeline.

So why, if we vote for a later start date, should the losers get special treatment?

In either case somebody is going to be forced to do something.

and nobody is forcing you to RP, nobody is forcing you to do anything — but if you wanna keep your land, the laws apply to everyone, making expectations is unfair and corrupt. Stand aside and let someone else enjoy that spot, everyone knows most players tend to rotate their spots every 5-10 years — and that's fine too, people try different nations because they want to.

Yeah i’d really appreciate it if you actually put in some rp effort regarding Congo only because I’m genuinely passion about rping it and you holding the spot only to do nothing with it for 3 months seems a little unfair to me y’know
