Topic: Major corruption bust and resignation of the Government

After the public display of Electoral Bonds on March 13, Several anti-corruption officials have been suspicious of the companies which donated the bonds as their own incomes don’t match the bonds given. Hence a joint CBI, ED and Income Tax Department investigation was launched to find out the possibility of corruption.
On 22 March, Income Tax Department officials launched several raids against companies suspected of tax frauds. Eventually the claims were proven true and it was not long before some people broke to the investigators and entire networks of money laundering and corruption were discovered. Soon an entire case started to be made against the perpetrators which included serving politicians, civil servants, police officers, cabinet members and other influential actors.
On 28 March, after a clearance from the Supreme Court, hundreds of raids were carried out, CBI even raided its own headquarters (again). Over 10,000 arrests were carried out and even 2 cabinet ministers were arrested, 40% of Lok Sabha Members, 10% of Rajya Sabha Members and on average 20% of State Assembly members were arrested in connection with money laundering and corruption. CBI also arrested 12 of its own members for taking bribes.
As soon as the news of the arrests went public, the ruling government, led by the National Democratic Alliance, resigned. The Prime Minister tried to hold the government together but by the morning of 1 April, it was clear that neither the ruling party, nor opposition parties could save face or even win the coming elections and instead they all resigned from their posts and retired from politics.
With the resignation of the politicians and refusal to form an interim government, the President has decided to directly take over the functions of the government for April as elections are already due for April and hence a new government would form by 1 May 2024. For April, the Secretaries, usually an Indian Administrative Service Officer (In case of Federal law enforcement an Indian Police Service Officer) would be leading their departments and ministries. For the Ministry of Defense and departments and agencies under the Prime Minister’s Office, the Office of the President would directly take over them as they are critical agencies for National Security and Welfare.
CBI believes that from 2012 to 2023, Indian economy was costed 2% growth in average every year due to corruption which finally explains why expected growth rate was not been reached. At least $100 Billion worth of black money was under covered which have dealt a massive blow to the corruption in the country. It is now clear that it will take a long time to recreate such a system and hence all efforts should be made to make sure that this never happens again and thus this report demands that new laws be passed to make sure that non-corrupted politicians are running for office and more strong anti-corruption measures be under taken, this report also request that CBI be more empowered and made more independent of the Government to carry out its duties without the interference of the government.

All members of the Diplomatic Corp are vetted by the Ministry, and should a nation take issue with an appointed individual, the Ministry will accommodate their request where possible. The Republic assigns a single Ambassador, First Counsellor, and several secretaries of varying rank, as well as embassy support staff, but should relations with a state grow the Nubian embassy in that state will receive additional members. The Republic will also begin preparations should the accepting nations reciprocate with their own embassy teams, whereby the Republic will allocate space along St Mark's Road. Long awaited, the call for diplomatic relations with Lower Nubia will finally be answered. HE The Sultan has appointed Ruwaid Taha (M) as the First Maghrebi Ambassador to Lower Nubia. Taha had this to say in a recent interview:
"I am proud to say that I will be the first Maghrebi Ambassador to Lower Nubia. I will strive to make our relationship a powerful and long relationship. The Sultanate also hopes for more diplomatic relations in the future. This day will go down as one of the most important days in Maghrebi History. The official meeting between Marwan Eissa (Foreign Affairs Minister) and Madame Konstantine (President of Gavierland), happened just today at 12: 00 P.M. Eissa landly safely at Meridia Intl. Airport at 9: A.M, along with newly appointed ambassador of The Sultanate to Gavierland, Judy Abu Zaid (F). They met in the board room of The Presidential Palace of Meridia.
On behalf of HE The Sultan, Marwan Eissa signed the official documents stating that Gavierland is now an ally of The Afro-Arabian Morocogyr. Eissa had this to say after the meeting:
"I am very proud to state that Gavierland is the first ally and friend of The Afro-Arabian Morocogyr since we joined Africa. I hope for frequently and smooth trades between our countries, aswell as many benefits and blessing coming from this agreement for not only the government, but for the citizens of both of our nations."
Abu Zaid expressed her gratitude by stating that this meeting will be a "cherished memory" for all of The Sultanate. The Sultan is yet to release a statement about this historical day, and we will keep you updated.

After weeks of speculation and wild theories, the beloved national emblem has reappeared as if by magic, sparking celebrations and laughter on this most whimsical of days.
The saga of the missing eagle began weeks ago when eagle-eyed observers noticed the conspicuous absence of the majestic bird from its perch atop the Cobra Sahara flag. Conspiracy theories ran rampant, with rumors ranging from alien abductions to elaborate government cover-ups, leaving the nation in a state of bemused confusion.
However, on the morning of April Fools' Day, citizens awoke to a delightful surprise as news spread like wildfire that the eagle had returned home, perched proudly on its rightful place on the flag. Cheers erupted in the streets as jubilant crowds gathered to witness the miraculous return of the beloved national symbol.
"It's a miracle!" exclaimed one excited onlooker, wiping away tears of joy. "I never thought I'd see the day when our eagle would come back to us. It's like a dream come true!"

The ministry with the highest allotment is the Ministry of Housing and Development which have been given priority. Other Ministries too got a good amount of funding to improve their existing facilities and build new ones.

"The Republic is glad to receive the General Governor Edward Joseph John Archer-Lydon, Earl of Merrigdale, and is honoured to have them personally visit our humble Republic.
In deference to his Governorship the Republic will be proclaiming this an official visitation by a foreign head of state and will begin preparations for that visit to the highest standard; including providing residences in the Republic's government quarter, visitation to the ϧⲣⲏⲓⲁⲩⲗⲏ (Parliament) building and Ministry of Foreign Affairs building. A visit to the Republic's mountains of the Gabel Elba, a wildlife and biodiversity sanctuary - and prospective IESCO site, a visit to the Cathedral of St. Antonios Coptic Church of Napata, as well as meet with members of the Cilician diaspora who live in the Republic. The Republic will also be providing extensive security measures to his Majesty's envoy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will allow Hilana Makary, the Ambassador of the Republic to the Colony of 
British Cilician Crown Colony, to meet with her respective counterparts to begin the process of relations and friendship between our two peoples. The Ministry will also begin the process of allocating an embassy building to accommodate the Crown Colony's diplomatic team.
The Republic recognises that the two countries can offer much to each other, and seeks to make that a significant part of our future relations. We recognise that only through cooperation can peace be achieved globally, even given the current unease in the world. This meeting represents an important step in the right direction. "
