Am I petty enough to go through multiple 1700-1830ish dictionaries in search of the word "preacheress," just to prove that a) it never existed, and b) Motherfricking Hudson made it up?

(The prevailing definition of preacher, throughout that time period, was "one who discourses publickly upon religious subjects" -- but apparently that was just too darn gender-neutral for Mr. Hudson to use on the avowedly genderless Public Universal Friend)
