The Wolfinites were not in that system. If they entered the Rend anomaly, they would find their bodies and vessels eviscerated and scattered to the solar winds. Instead, coordinates to an entirely different system had been given; one that was a lot safer than the other. The Aurelian vessel began to manoeuvre closer, engines thrumming strangely as they slowed down a few thousand kilometres away from the Republic's vessel. Knife-fighting range, at that point. Not that they planned to attack.

"...Supernova? You must be referring to Incident Starbreak. Well, you've come to the right place. That was artificial - induced by one of our weapons. This is Jorge of the Aurelian Empire speaking. And you would be...? Feel free to ask any questions, or vice versa."

The Wolfinite Ships would stand still relative to the Auerllian ships, seemingly motionless, if someone just got here, they would be untraceable except the lights that gently glow on the each end of the Chevron 'wings' and the steady light of the windows. The message is received, and wouldn't be long before one is sent back.

"We are the Wolfinite Republic. A weapon of yours caused a whole star to implode? Certainly a feat to achieve that. What is your ambitions, goals, diplomatic relations on nearby parts of the Arms of the Galaxy? Is there any maps you can provide for us to chart?"
