the Mexicans were stubborn and strong, they refused to surrender. They stroke in the dead of night with a sneak attack catching the American troops' surprise. They then forced the American troops out of Plabo. This led to many lives being lost. The Mexicans have won this battle but will not win this war.

in Mr. Christ's office
Mr. Christ seems slightly agitated perhaps even saddened by his defeat in Plabo.
“Prepare for a counter-assault and get ready to deploy our newest weapons.”
Mr. Christ smiled as if he believed his latest plan was invincible
“Mr. Christ, are you sure this is a good idea?”
“You dare doubt me, secretary?”
“Of course not sir but this could take so many lives”
