Interview of soldiers on the Belgian Congo Front by CABC

Journalists on this frontline were sent to soldiers who were seiging a Congolese air base that housed hundreds of thousands of troops which was being shelled and strafed day and night.

Journalist: I am with a congolese man from the city of Kananga who volunteered to fight for his country in the Liberation of the [rest of the] Congo. So tell me, brother, what is your name and if you could, what urged you to join the ranks of the Army?
Soldier: After the Victorious Central African forces marched south to overthrow the illegitimate Angolan MPLA regime, I immediatly supported them as we wanted freedom from the MPLA. We have gained such freedom and now I hope to bring freedom to my congolese brothers up north aswell. Oh uh, my name is Pierre, I am a Lance Corporal in the 2nd Batallion 1st Congolese 6th Belgian. I am honored to have been part of the first assault into enemy territory after they illegally invaded us. Now we may liberate their people as God wills it.
Journalist: Thank you, now Pierre, could you tell us what you think of the Army in general? Is it doing its tasks effectivly? Do you think it will knock out the Congolese army easily enough and secure victory?
Soldier: Yes I do, I know me and my brothers in arms are all in full support of the military and have full confidence in the tacticians up above. We shall win and the people shall join us in celebration.
Journalist: Thank you, now one last question, with regards to international outcry from Marxist dicatatorships, do you think most countries support or oppose our defensive war and defensive operations?
Soldier: I think that most countries would be morally unjust to support this Congolese invasion as there is no backing for it as we are a peace loving nation and are simply responding to this show of force by the Congolese. In the end God is the true Judge and I am certian he is on our side. Deus Lo Vult.
Journalist: Thank you,
