Here, you can get an idea as to how we were formed. After the Bern Riots of 2065, Switzerland became a totalitarian, warmongering dictatorship and started by taking over Liechtenstein. In the years shortly afterwards, Italy, Germany, and France stepped in, with Austria being late to the party. On April 20th, 2069, the Treaty of Geneva was signed, occupied portions were annexed, and the Romansh Republic was formed. i need words to be here in order to make it look like something i redacted dont read this part please Well, there was a... "slight" problem.

The treaty stated that all borders of Switzerland were to be completey redrawn by me in microsoft paint. It was simple: All land west and north of Aosta were to be Italian, and all east were to be French. Remaining portions were split between Germany and Austria. Since the borders were completely scrapped and redrawn, the Cheese Republic formed in Aosta and the parts north of it. Due to a technicality which would take longer than the check luggage line at Newark Airport to explain, Italy and France had no choice but to accept the treaty and be subject to 1000000000000000000000000000000000000 cheese nukes.

As the name suggests, cheese is THE F*CKING LIFEBLOOD a major export of the nation, and if often eaten near the Haivonian border as a taunt to the Haivonians. Some have thrown cheese into Haivon, but they ended up being killed by Cheesy Secret Policemen who are currently living quiet countryside lives.

Wait, so a treaty was unclear? No way! Wrong. It was as clear as the window in my room. Wait, that's not clear at all.
