There's a sound like very close, very ticked-off thunder as Zerachiel realizes these people can, in fact, still see the car.

The gates do grind to a halt, completely ruined by the massive reptilian hand. Samuel's car passes through easily, while Juan is surprised to death. What was that thing? He was barely able to speak now, all he could think now was 'Oh my God'.
