Since the colonial times, the now Republic of Sudan was a part of the British Empire, and since independence the relations between the Sudanese and the British were admittedly stale and unproductive. Khartoum, The Republic of Sudan
November, 2023 - Welcome Back

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson would be greeted by Sudanese Prime Minister Salva Kiir himself shortly after he landed at Khartoum New International Airport. He would be warmly greeted by Kiir and the other members of government as the seemed overwhelmingly joyus with the first visit of a British Prime Minister to Sudan just around 60 years since the visit of her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II to Sudan under the rule of the then young nation.

After pictures are taken with both leaders shaking hands want smiling and then standing when the Republican Band plays God Save The Queen, Boris and Kiir will be taken to their motorcade where they are then driven passed the city scenery to the old renovated presidential place, a gift from the British Empire.

There the two nations would begin their first talks since the nation's independence in 1956.

PM Salva Kiir :| "Prime Minister Boris, it's such an honor to welcome you to Sudan. Its great to have you here amidst such troubling times for the nation but don't worry we are mostly friendly."
