This is incorrect and laughable. Canada is a constitutional monarchy with a free market economy. It is not "socialist." The economy is not centralized or planned, and there is no vanguard party dictatorship. Canada is not socialist by any meaningful definition of the word "socialist." The fact that you'd describe Canada as a mix of "capitalism and socialism" tells me how very narrow, limited, and ill-informed your worldview is.

Me? I've been through the public system. I've taught in the public system. I've taught in the private system. Are there problems in both? Yes. Is anyone trying to indoctrinate students? No.

The funny thing is that this is only a fear of the extremes. The far right people claim everyone is being indoctrinated into the left. The far left people claim everyone is being indoctrinated into the right.
The fact is that when you're a centrist the crazy fringes think you're the extremists.
