An Awkward Situation (Same as usual)

A transmission is finally sent to the Ventuan ships: “Hello! Are you imperials? We haven’t met any people in a long time.”

We made transmission today. My social skills are pretty poor, but I think it conveys our want for first contact, without establishing us as a threat. I’d say that’s pretty good.
