So, first off. Junie is a girl. Her family and her are all dead except for her father. Typhus killed Junie and Zoey. Gekum (a made-up disease) killed her brother, Carmen after liberation. Her mother was shot. Her father lives in Asthea
Anyway, the story is about how her life progressed as she got older during her life from being free to hiding to being in a camp.
