Yeah, I understand that people do think it is different and (as I stated when I started this path of thinking) I'm asking these questions because I think it's important that all avenues are explored before a decision is made. To be honest, I can understand (and accept) why people should be forced to contribute or have an active embassy to post; however, it doesn't feel right in the old gut and we shouldn't just move to these new ideas without carefully examining everything.

I hope the outcome won't have a bad impact on the region as I quite like you guys, you're willing to talk this out and outsiders like myself ^^ That's a good quality as it sedans me whenever people play the "because I said so and I'm the one with power" card. That kills discussion (which often kills advancement) and can show corruption or narrow views...in my humble opinion.

In the end, I will support what ever the region decides as long as I'll be given a fair chance with others. If I'm not and the "suppress NE!" fad continues, than I'll probably just fade away and play with kittens somewhere. Kittens always makes things better.

A separate "recruiting" RMB might be in order then, something for spammers to post all they want without interfering with the regional message board for the natives to chat.....

Personally. Adspam, and RMB recruiting should be illegal. It's worthless lazy recruiting that nets UCR's with no gain in nations. Irritates the feederites, interrupts the conversation on the RMB.

Now I know feeders is where the recruiting happens, and I am all for it, but send a TG to the new nations being created. and very few read the RMB, alot more will notice they have a Telegram first. This isn't rocket science.

So I fully support a ban on site on all recruiters, until we can get a game wide ban on the RMB's.

I am not making the argument supporting free speech, you are. If you expect it from us herer. We should expect you give it there.

Anyway, Ethel, I think you're trying to force a round circle in a square peg as our two regions aren't the same. Sure, we have similarities and I pointed out that given our similarities, we are acting in the same manner; however, the reason why we don't support adspam and you should is based on our difference: you are a feeder region and we are not.

If TWP was not a feeder region, or if NE was, than I would agree that we should uphold the same standards upon our RMB...but the fact remains that our two regions aren't comparable in that way. To quote something that's said far too often, "with great power comes great responsibilities" or, in this case, "with founding nations comes RMB recruiting." Consider it a result, a consequence even (if that's the right word), of being a feeder region...you quickly gain numbers, but you have reasonable* amount of adspam.

*reasonable as in spam that is regulated and follows the rules outlined.

and completely ignore the fact that RMB recruiting is lazy, doesn't work, and despite all this, can't be bothered to learn, or do the work required to get their region going.
