Honestly, I just want to say that Skyclan has got this all wrong. I do not wish to insult them, but why try to scare someone who is winning over you, and then try to play the victim card? Even more questions arise when they start to reveal everything that they have done and what security systems they have in their very advanced cities. Anyway, I got a theory...
So, the reason why Skyclan is losing, is because the money went on those security cameras in the cities. The military funding was underfunded due to that.

Here in TNP we have Strangereal (abbreviated SR). I think it's a pretty good roleplay setting.

Strangereal Roleplay Map

Very important points:

1. If you would like to stake a claim in for some land on the map then TG, Waupun Island, Minuda, Lungha.
2. If you make a post on the RMB asking to be put on the map, or put it in a factbook or dispatch, you will be ignored, please refrain from doing so.
3. Try your best to find out in advance WHERE you would like to claim, not just "can i join the map pls" or a vague "this rough area pls" *points at an entire continent* Get yourself Linkpaint.net, make a thing, show where you want it. Or at the very absolute least try to put in words exactly where, it's not that hard.
4. When you know where you want to be, stay there, don't ask carto if you can move. "B-b-but that spot is nicer and-" Should have thought of that in advance.

-

-

Claims must be:
1. Reasonable enough to be put onto the map. No beginner nation will be the size of Friently, or higher, for their claim. If you want more accurate claims and you have Paint.net, beginner claims have a limit of 40k pixels. Your secondary nation will have to be at 20k pixels or less. However a secondary cannot be claimed immediately upon joining the map.
2. Picky is good. Feel free to request changes to borders if you aren't happy with them.
3. This map's planet is the same size as Earth, so we won't be making the map any bigger. If Earth can fit 200 nations, so can this.
4. We are not changing or adding new territory to the map. Use the existing land more efficiently and we won't need any more.
5. Not on any body of water.
-
Map removal will occur when:
1. AFRP, or Away From RP (not RPing for 30 days, 20 days in the case of people on other RMB maps)
2. RMB RP Ban (if one clause states "therefore, the RMB Cartography Staff shall remove <nation> from the map")
3. Cease to Exist (when the nation dies in the 28th day. Exceptions apply.)
4. Moderator Sanctioned
5. RP posts are not up to standard (refrain from making posts that are just one sentence)

Pinguioris shall send our Secretary of State, José Gracendas, member of the SRP. He is accompanied
by a squad from our Cavalry Legion branch of the military.

You may read about the SRP here:

1. Agricultural Party(AP): This party is all about its focus on agriculture, as it is a one issue party. Popular among some farmers, it advocates for better conditions for family operated farms while restricting both larger farm operations from wiping them out, as well as talking about predatory contracts with companies that make farm equipment, seed, fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and even GMOs, such as tractors, terminator seeds, crops that use even more herbicide because of a higher tolerance, and other such products that seriously affect farmland.
2. Central Pinguioris Party(CPP): This party is a strong populism movement in Pinguioris for becoming a bigger player on the world stage, while promoting traditional values from back home. It aims for greater civil rights and political freedom, not just at home, but abroad, and is very interested in foreign affairs, whereas most other parties are focused on domestic issues. The party has a wide range of stances on different issues, but in general is anti-authoritarian, and members tend to be suspicious of dictatorships and monarchies.
3. Horse Power Party(HPP): This party focuses on environmental issues, takes issue with monopolies, poor business practices like dumping wastes, and even looks abroad to call to attention how popular products in Pinguioris are made or harvested across the world, in order to promote both ethical and environmentally safe goods. The party values sustainability above all else.
4. National Pinguiorisian Group(NPG): This party is focused on improving education via alternative and creative means, creating sustainable living by reducing waste and building preserves, promoting a strong national identity, and believes in a small, relatively unrestricting government. While it does have some common themes with both the HPP and CPP, the NPG focuses on a government able to strike down predatory business and government practices while remaining unobtrusive to the individual, so that they may rise from any background. It is both fiercely pro-immigration, but also fiercely anti-illegal immigration, and aims to make immigration and assimilation easy, while keeping out less desirable candidates, such as those with no skills, or those who are actively opposed to domestic ideals. They want to make asylum much easier to achieve within Pinguioris, based on the judicial values of innocent until proven guilty, where asylum seekers are assumed innocent of any claim of criminality from foreign governments until proven otherwise.
5. Pinguioris First(PF): This party is somewhat anti-immigration, and dislikes most foreigners. While not racist, members of this party believe that foreign affairs are unimportant, and care more about improving Pinguioris, and leaving other countries alone. They are best described as laissez-faire isolationists, as they keep away from intervening in other countries, but will trade and make economic agreements if approached. They do not approve of accepting asylum requests.
6.,People For Pinguioris(PFP): This party is more liberal and focused on human rights primarily. They dislike large businesses, and seek to make it harder for them to succeed. The party is currently in the middle of a schism, between pro-mother and pro-fetus camps. It is here that abortion is most argued about compared to other parties, and may eventually destroy the PFP if not resolved by the leaders.
7. Societal Rights Party(SRP): This party promotes large welfare programs made by a large government. They also take a moderate to extreme (in some cases) anti-business view, and want the government to nationalize more of the private sector. Moderates of the party want some sectors, like agriculture, education, and healthcare to be only administered by the government, while more extreme members want a fully socialist state, with all business under control of the government, and close to equal pay.

*In a gesture of trust, the Dynast King of Dynastiet has sent his second born son, Prince Dagr Linde-Yngling to represent the nation at this peace talk. He is however accompanied by, along with his aids, a platoon of Dynetian Marines as protection.*

Note: You can read about Dagr in the attached factbook, just scroll down to the "Key Figures" section.

Leading Ideology

Ynglingism
A form of Authoritarian Republicanism and in some cases Totalitarian Monarchism which puts a heavy emphasis on Stratocratic, Securocratic, Theocratic, and culturally traditional ideals as a means to create a militaristic and cohesive society. Coined in the year 8 A.R. (41 years ago), it is named after the first king of Dynastiet since before the Norelaw Aristocracy, His Royal Majesty Darik Linde-Yngling.

The basis of Ynglingism outlines a strong central government in which elected officials oversee day to day lives as servants to the people and king. Unlike most Republican systems Ynglingism also ensures stability of the nation by distinguishing one royal family as head of government, military, and church. Lieutenant General Darik Linde (as the king was known during the revolution) led the masses into a more enlightened age after the Revolutionary Committee was ousted for treason against the people; under a system of Primogeniture Agnatic succession in which the oldest son inherits the throne, the Dynast King along with his court heads the Imperial branch of government and constitutes the face of Dynastiet's Totalitarian Monarchy.

Along with being a political ideology, it also serves as a personal philosophy, complementary to Dynetian-Christianity, to much of Dynastiet's population. A state-funded youth group known as the "Young Kings" espouses ideas such as Jingoism, extreme-nationalism, and total loyalty to the royal family. Detractors of this group call it a pseudo-paramilitary group as much of the group's activities involve training for young Dynetians in similar fashion to what the military officially teaches soldiers. A branch of the Young Kings exists known as the "Young Queens," which in contrast to the Young Kings, only permits women to join. While also providing combat and survival training, the Young Queens focus more so on the fostering of the next generation of proper ladies, and how women hold a duty to be the more pious sex.

Structure

The Dynetian government is broken up into four distinct branches:
  • Headed by the "Dynast King," the Imperial branch is the most powerful governing body in Dynastiet. The primary purpose of the Imperial branch is to overwrite and take charge of all other branches of government during times of strife for the nation, this can be done through what is known as "Kingly Decrees," which take priority over statute law; no Kingly Decree has been issued by the Dynast King for over two decades since the passing of Dynast King Darik Linde-Yngling. Other responsibilities of the Imperial branch include serving as a figurehead to the people, the overseer of all religious affairs in the nation, to officially declare a war, and to confirm the elected government into power. Aside from the Dynast King, there are those known as "Courtiers" in the Imperial branch who are appointed by the Dynast King to serve in his court as advisors and aids; there is no limit as to how many Courtiers may be appointed at one time.

The current Dynast King is Dezmon Linde-Yngling, firstborn son of Darik Linde-Yngling. There are currently 15 Courtiers not counting any member of the royal family.

  • Headed by the "Prime Minister," the Executive branch acts as a proto Imperial branch in times of peace. The primary purpose of the Executive branch is to vanguard national direction, the Prime Minister of Dynastiet along with his cabinet of various other Ministers oversee the day to day happenings and long-term plans of government programs and bureaus. Other responsibilities of the executive branch is to appoint federal judges (including Supreme Court Justices), the management of foreign relations in times of peace, and the cooperation of the Legislative branch in the creation and implementation of new laws. The Prime Minister is elected directly by the people in a national election with no representative body or indirect translation of votes, other members of cabinet are appointed by the Prime Minister and whose identities are often announced during election season.

The current Prime Minister is Halfdan Birgersson.

  • Summarily represented by what is known as the "Grand National Assembly," a democratically elected Parliament of 150 MPs, the Legislative branch serves as the nation's most robust source of democracy. The primary purpose of the Legislative branch is to represent the various political factions of Dynastiet and to write bills that can later be signed into law by the Prime Minister (A bill can be vetoed by the Prime Minister but this can be overwritten with a 2/3 supermajority within Parliament). Aside from having control over the creation of new laws and in some cases the power to approve constitutional reforms, the Legislative branch is largely powerless; political satirists often claim the Legislative branch is to be seen but never to be heard. MPs are directly elected by the communities they represent, though within Parliament the Speaker of The House is chosen by seniority of position; the Speaker of The House, in addition to the authority to oversee Parliament, receives an additional vote leading to the possibility of tie-breaking.

There are five factions clearly recognized within the Dynetian Parliament: There are the Conservatives, who make up the majority of MPs and wish to maintain the status quo and the royal family's power. Second largest are the Progressives, they wish to maintain the balance of power within the government but wish to promote the liberalization of policies and to separate church and state. Third largest are the Reformists, these often young MPs openly question how well balanced the government branches are and take stances that would democratize and decentralize the nation. Second smallest are the Moderates/Centrists, most often these MPs are not idealistic or even unified and instead have individual pursuits in government that drive their alignment with the other four factions, essentially they are swing voters. Smallest of all the factions are the Old Guard, an obstructionist minority of elderly politicians that have been in government since the revolution, they commonly speak out openly against the King and the imbalanced power structure of Dynastiet, the communities that elect this faction are comprised of older revolutionary idealists.

The current Speaker of The House is Leif Mendelev, a member of the Old Guard.

  • Making up every civil and criminal court in the nation, the Judicial branch is led by the "Dynetian Supreme Court." Supreme Court Justices are appointed by the Prime Minister, these Justices serve for life or until retirement and can not be impeached short of a Kingly Decree, there are 11 Justices with a Chief Justice determined by veterancy of position. The major roles of the Supreme court are to interpret all laws created by the Executive and Legislative branches in court cases and to oversee impeachment processes; impeachment of a government official is initiated by the approval of six Court Justices and is concluded in a democratic vote carried out by whatever community the official represents, this means an MP could be impeached by the district that elected them but the Prime Minister would undergo a national referendum to determine impeachment status.

Out of the eleven Supreme Court Justices, one is a Centrist (refer to Legislative branch for explanation), one is a progressive, and one can be considered a member of the Old Guard; the eight remaining Justices, including Chief Justice Harvald Hawker, are staunchly Conservative.

Key Figures (WIP)

Imperial
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Ideology: Conservative Ynglingism
Description: A somewhat stout build, the Dynast King possesses green eyes, brown and short beard, pale skin, and a long since balded head.

He is the only son of the former Dynast King, and his sister Danikr retired to private life after the passing of their father. As a child rumors would eminate from the royal court that he was unfit to be heir due to his habit of pranking Courtiers and disregarding important religious events to goof off with friends, though like his sister, his demeanor would change after the death of his predecessor and ascension to the Dynetian throne. Nowadays he is known to have a quiet personality unless given a reason to raise his voice, at which case his anger is known to frighten child and adult alike.

Politically speaking the Dynast King is very uninvolved, usually allowing the other branches of government to take the forefront of administration. During the times in which Dezmon does participate in the political theater he shows a clear support for the Conservative faction and is known to fill his court with Conservatives. Though it is assumed he is grooming his children to show solidarity with Conservatives, it seems his heir has taken a liking to the Dynast Queen's rhetoric while his second son has avoided supporting any one faction too blatantly thus far.

Political Compass:

Age: 38
Gender: Female
Ideology: Progressive Ynglingism
Description: A feminine though obviously fit build, the Dynast Queen possesses brown eyes, markedly tanned skin, and a long ponytail of brown hair.

She is of a very common background, with Dezmon meeting her in their youth through mutual friends. One residual value remaining from the revolution that occurred half a century ago is the lack of cultural distinction between the classes, and so an average woman like Galla faced little more challenge than an upper-class debutante might've when being courted by Dezmon. She is known to be outspoken for a woman in Dynastiet and is often the more publicly vocal of the monarchs.

Though only barely more active in politics than her husband, the Dynast Queen can be attributed for the growing presence of the Progressive faction in the Legislative branch. In addition to her influences on the Grand National Assembly, it seems the Crown Prince has taken her policies to an extreme; The controversial beliefs of the Crown Prince is a vocalized concern of Conservative factions in the nation and a source of drama for both the Dynast Queen and Crown Prince in the eyes of the public.

Political Compass:

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Ideology: Reformist Ynglingism
Description: Tall and muscular, the Crown Prince possesses hazel eyes, pale skin, and short brown hair stylishly combed to the back. He takes after his father in almost every way aside from his height which is attributed to his grandfather.

Dynn is the first born son to the second Dynast King and in line to become the third Dynast King of Dynastiet. Unless on the a topic of politics or when conversing with his younger brother, the Crown Prince is known to be completely silent at most events unless goaded into speaking by either of his parents. Aside from his immediate family, Dynn has few friends within the government due to his controversial series of promises to reform the four branches once he becomes Dynast King.

By far the most politically motivated and involved of the royal family, Dynn has made it painfully clear that after inheriting the throne he will issue multiple Kingly Decrees that will completely restructure the government. his Reformist leanings likely originates from his Progressive mother, this has led to Dynn being nicknamed as the, "Student Prince," by both the Progressive and Reformist wings of the nation. More Conservative outlets and groups prophesize that the Crown Prince will destroy what his grandfather worked so hard to build, and that he is unfit to hold the title of Dynast King.

Political Compass:

Age: 17
Gender: Male
Ideology: Centrist Ynglingism
Description: Tall and muscular, the young Prince possesses dark brown eyes, moderately tanned skin, an odd amount of facial hair for a teen, and short brown hair stylishly combed to the back (similarly to his elder brother). He takes after his mother in many ways aside from his height which is attributed to his grandfather.

Dagr is the second born son to the second Dynast King, he is expected to serve as heir to his brother until another heir is born. Though reserved outwardly similarly to his brother, the Prince seemingly enjoys making speeches and rubbing elbows with influential figures at important events. Dagr has some friends outside of politics and his moderate approach to many issues leaves him on sociable terms with most politicians aside from Reformists and of course, the Old Guard. However to those who have spoken with him at length (or among those who are in the know), it is said his words often feel calculated and disingenuous, or that his gaze makes you feel threatened.

Almost matching his brother in intensity towards politics, Dagr's ideology can be summed up in two words, "nationalism," and "socialism," these two features of his policies are in no way controversial, and it is his patriotism, dedication to the health of the nation, and his ability to cooperate with most ideologies that a majority of Dynetians in and out of government would prefer Dagr be the heir of the Kingdom. It is also worth noting that while Dynn retired from the Young Kings as soon as he reached adulthood, Dagr has become a high ranking member and has stated he plans to join the Dynetian Armed Forces after finishing his formal education.

Political Compass:

Age: 10
Gender: Female
Ideology: Conservative Ynglingism
Description: A decidedly short and unusually frail physique, the elder Princess possesses green eyes, snow white skin, and a modestly bunned head of dark brown hair.

Dyre is one of two identical twins born to Dynast King Dezmon, she was born a few dozen minutes ahead of her sister. Though she is still young, Dyre and her sister are seen as the epitome of ladylike etiquette and manners, rarely speaking in public, and even then words are delicately delivered in soft tones.

The Princesses are expected to abstain from politics, though it is predicted that they are Conservatives similarly to their father. Traditionalists often say that if they weren't girls, one of them would be the ideal heir to the Dynetian throne.

Age: 10
Gender: Female
Ideology: Conservative Ynglingism
Description: A decidedly short and unusually frail physique, the younger Princess possesses green eyes, snow white skin, and a modestly bunned head of dark brown hair.

Dane is one of two identical twins born to Dynast King Dezmon, she was born a few dozen minutes after of her sister. Though she is still young, Dane and her sister are seen as the epitome of ladylike etiquette and manners, rarely speaking in public, and even then words are delicately delivered in soft tones.

The Princesses are expected to abstain from politics, though it is predicted that they are Conservatives similarly to their father. Traditionalists often say that if they weren't girls, one of them would be the ideal heir to the Dynetian throne.

Executive
Age: 63
Gender: Male
Ideology: Conservative Ynglingism
Description: A pudgy though mostly average build, the Prime Minister possesses light blue eyes, pale skin, and a head of thinning hair that might've once been called a buzz-cut.

Halfdan served in the White Army, reaching the rank of Colonel, and made a political career out of his service. His military background has led the Prime Minister to having a hawkish personality, constantly mud-slinging the opposition and supporting policies that would benefit the military as a whole. Being an old friend to Dynast King Darik, he supposedly has as close relationship with the current King, this in turn boosts his popularity even further.

Prime Minister Halfdan essentially heads the Conservative faction of Dynastiet, ensuring the stability of old institutions and peace in day to day life; The support of the Conservatives has allowed him to go unopposed in most matters of governance and has remained in office for over a decade now. His cabinet is said to be filled with experts, and sycophants alike.

Political Compass:

Legislative

Age: 81
Gender: Male
Ideology: Old Guard Idealism
Description: A thin and aging body, the Speaker of The House possesses light blue eyes, paling and wrinkly skin, and a completely bald head.

A member of the Grand National Assembly since before the first Dynast King, Leif Mendelev survived the trials conducted by the monarchy when purging the Revolutionary Committee and their allies in the Revolutionary government. As no proof of corruption was found in Leif's case, he was permitted to maintain his position as an MP and rose to becoming Speaker of The House after all his superiors were executed for crimes against the revolution and treason. For half a century, Mendelev has maintained a calm, fair demeanor even when overseeing the chaos of Parliament.

The Speaker of The House is well known for being one of the oldest politicians in the nation, indeed one of the oldest citizens in the nation, as many people who were a part of his generation were either killed during the revolution or were subsequently executed for anti-revolutionary activity by the Dynast King. His advanced age has also ensured that his views remain firm and uncompromising, and as Speaker of The House he uses his full authority to combat other factions within the boundaries of law. He actively promotes the dissolution of the both the monarchy and executive branch and a return to the devolution of society as implemented during the beginning years of the revolution. Leif Mendelev has survived four assassination attempts in the past ten years.

She carelessly laughed, as though this did not bother her.

"Funny how our nation has to be threatened in order to join a 'peace' treaty. That sneak attack was crucial, I'm pretty sure any nation with an ounce of competence would rather sneak up on their targets, rather then alerting them of the bombing, and doing it in the middle of the day with no clouds to cover them. Believe me, I'm not scared, and if your population wants to see the Heavenly Empress dead, then why don't they make it happen? If your army is so infallible, then we clearly couldn't stop you, so why don't you just, behead her?

I hate living in an old apartment they shut off my water, i get back to work and boom brown rusted water. in Jaxikistan this would never happen, primarily because the water is always brown and rusted so its to be expected.

No such map exists, there is no united world map for this site.

He's talking about the StrangeReal map, I'd assume.

None has reached the quota of 60 Delegate approvals while having the legal status.

(Being from the SRP, Gracendas does not like this)
"Many of our people back home view nationalism with distaste, and we highly value religious freedom. Tell me, why do the reformists not deserve to practice their religion, or are you willing to allow them this? I cannot in good faith force them to worship what they do not believe in, for creed is one of the most important aspects of a person." - José Gracendas.
