Twinister is our “most primitive” nation.

A message a few hours before 2023.

¡FELIZ AÑO NUEVO!

Happy new one.

Well here we are more than three weeks in to the new year. How’s it going? ¿Todo bien?

Betterment of our peoples is a low priority. Let's make inbred megalomaniacal dangerous newanderthals get full ahead enrichment.

Make the rich richer.
And the poor poorer.

You know it makes nO sense.

In the Best Nation in the World vote Twinister came first here and was in the top 4% overall.

Hola, ¿qué tal? Everybody happy?

Meh eh. Rowing out. To better country

I rowed back.

Good. Is there a better country to row out to? Surely not?

Greetings from Gypsy Lands. Just visiting our embassy here, checking if it's all clean and tidy, pay the staff.

We are a very "thin" region, it seems.

We tax the Rich extremely highly and the poor pay zero taxes, until they are rich then they pay extremely high rate.

we all enjoy poverty and wealth equally.

Dear me! It turns out that we haven't checked this account for over eight months! We logged in to keep it alive, but that's all. We've two telegrams, one from five months ago, trying to sell us cards, and another from four weeks ago, wanting to buy a card. Unfortunately that card is in our collection, so isn't for sale.

We were thinking of you all recently, particularly Carlos Eduardo, as we were practically next door, on holiday in Lanzarote.

We'd hired an automobile for a day, and planned an itinerary. We were concerned that there would be too much driving - we wanted to see the green lake at El Golfo at one end of the island, but also Mirador del Rio at the other end, and most things in between. Fortunately, Lanzarote is not a big Island, and it was all very manageable. We ended up eating at a restaurant in El Mojon, up in the mountains, with a gorgeous view down across the island to the sea. They served us delicious bread rolls with "mojo" sauces while we waited for our meals. The meal was good, but those sauces were best!

The landscape in the centre of the island is surreal. Vinyards like none we've seen elsewhere. Black volcanic soil has been dug into craters, and at the bottom of each crater is a vine. The crater must collect moisture, and help protect the plant from the elements.

We bought a cactus fruit liqueur, made on the island. Who knew a cactus could be so smooth?

It sounds rather an idyllic island. My PieRats are turning our sails eastwards. see you soon Lanzarote.

I’m glad you enjoyed Lanzarote, Twinister. I have spent time in Arrecife and Playa Blanca. I have a t-shirt from Jameos del Agua.
