In the ship the hallways were dark, the cockpit was empty, silence filled the hallways as if space invaded it.

Though in one room laid Cryptosleep caskets with the surface of them showing the state of each crew in the caskets. The AI of the ship hadn't failed its mission, fuel had been conserved for the final task it had to do.

Land.

The ship entered the atmosphere by tipping itself to where its heat shields were mostly focused upon and started to dive down with fire starting to light the heat shields up in flames, though unable to do too much damage other than leave burn marks.

Once it had emerged out of the thermosphere, it had then started to deploy its parachute at the top and start to fall down upon the land. Rocking back and forth by the parachute as it started to pick up drag.

the drag being created was enough to slow the spacecraft down though due to the immense size of the spacecraft. It's mass would be pulled down by the Earth with great exertion.

The boosters upon its back would try and use its remaining fuel to slow down the spacecraft and maneuver it to better terrain before it hits hard onto the surface. It then deployed its legs to safely secure itself onto the terrain so that it doesn't slip or fall of a mountain.

The spacecraft then lands on said terrain, the boosters die out and the parachute starts to settle upon the top of the spacecraft. The AI aboard the spacecraft begins to analyze the atmosphere and to determine if it were safe or not.

Hopefully safe otherwise the colonists will probably be trapped there for eternity.

What laid in the ship was Heather Weber and her Daughter Alice Weber. Alexander Davies and Gabriel Hamilton, the two males upon the ship.

All of them stopped aging biologically and were chronologically a lot older than they are now. All Kurin's that have been apart of the Areherin Confederacy who had sought to find new planets to inhabit to escape those that enslave them and the conditions of the planet.

In the ship there were weaponry, food, plants, clothing, armor. Weapons however carried lead rounds and not plasma rods to be used to fire upon targets due to how dangerous it may be to be shot by a plasma weapon.

Lead ammunition are easy to treat as the projectile is visible and the damage is able to be repairable if the damage was just a wound or two depending on where it hit and what size of the round.

For plasma weapons, not only the projectile isn’t visible but to the flesh and internal organs and. It can cause some serious damage. You won’t trust anyone unless they are skillful at marksmanship to use plasma weapons.

Though certain weaponry was allowed as at the time of the launch they didn’t know what sort of aliens lived on the planet, if they were hostile or not, sentient or not, etc.

They knew how risky this mission would be, or may have. A lot of ships had went off course and had lost itself by hitting smaller particles in space or being blasted by spaceships.

Though thankfully the AI has improved to not kill itself or its inhabitants. The ship has conserved enough energy in the batteries to keep the life support of the Kurin's in the Cryptosleep caskets alive up until now and it is about time they have awaken.

A new life may have began for them, or their imminent deaths may be approaching near them.

((OOC: gonna introduce the characters later on once they have, 'awaken'.))

As the three sipped their wine and heard the proposal of the Cymiopolitans, they were enticed but skeptical. While it is true that they also wanted to see the past behind them and to strive towards the future together, they were also concerned about two things. Firstly being the sale of Ambrosia. Even if the effects of the withdrawal symptom could be mitigated, or even negated, it was a dangerous step. In the past, the last Dynasty fell due to opioids by the West. While opioids and ambrosia were not the same, it was a drug nonetheless. And non-medical drugs were banned within the Empire, even though instances of Ambrosia consumption had already been detected. The second thing that they were skeptical about was why this came out of the blue. While quite a few were aware that the Empire seeked revenge against the Ventusians, no request for aid was sent to the Cymiopolitans.

The three had already made up their minds for the night. They thanked the Cymiopolitans for their offer but asked for a day to think on it. Blaming the war and travel had drained them. They did not seek housing for the day/night, but if none would be provided they would retire back to the ship for the night.

The deal will be accepted, I just didn't want to end it if you wanted to RP it further. If you do, great, if not, I'll post tomorrow saying the deal was accepted.

"Gentlemen, I can assure you that this will not be a repeat of the Opium Wars, but I do understand with your concerns. I do however believer that our combined prowess in the pharmaceutical industry can aid in mitigating the fatal effects of an otherwise beneficial drug that serves only to increase one's cognitive and physical abilities." Spyros said after sipping his wine. "I am however glad that you appear receptive to Cymiopolitan aid in your war, even it will be a secretive operation. As to how we even knew about your conflict, lets just say your embassy didn't do a good job looking for listening bugs."

It would appear that the Chinese delegation was tired from their journey and would need to sleep on it. After thanking everyone for their time, Prime Minister Metaxas requested Governor Barbaro guide the Crown Prince and his friends to their sleeping chambers in the Palace's Guest Wing. An agreement is to be made the following day.

The Days past and a new month resurrected, the travelers and adventurers of Xeosa had mapped much of the ruined bastions of old, now flooding the collective with information and emerging out of the ruins with ancient and forgotten technologies, devices and trinkets of unknown, the crude fortress beyond the entrance was simple yet enough to keep out invaders from afar.

Yet thankfully as she approached they understood she wasn't here for intended purposes, Invited by an elder to take gaze upon their findings of old, to make use and eventually understand their functions the prior dominion has sent requests for those who cared, their request was ignored by many yet taken by great interest by her.

"I care not for Pleasantries nor Introductions, I came as requested, I signed your pact of blood now you will honor your agreement, the removal of my weapons from myself is shameful, as my Dominion are prideful unlike yours which cowers behind walls of stone and metal. "

The parchment slamed forcefully upon the table standing, rolling out into full view as a gust of wind washed over the both of them, there she stood, A warrior, a Leader known by one name Cezis.

her form tall and demanding only interrupted by the gaze of her four, her statue Commanding as by her voice announced proud, covered only partially by cloak and robe strewn across shoulder to shoulder, armor adored her, from chest to waist protected from harm, she awaited a response just able to hold back as of yet.

He Sighed, and approached the table, the parchment received and looked over, confirmed to be signed by true signature and style, he bowed and motioned towards the entrance of the ruin and she followed, speaking when below the surface where the gaze of the star gave way to torch and fires

" You have arrived a Requested, I have brought you entrance Empress the pact is confirmed and upheld, these ruins are great and vast, containing chambers unknown and even more within, not many of these devices work some are intact to degrees of damage and decay, one of these work, that is of our reason for request. "

Beckoned to follow the two would begin their path, passing by adepts and scholars moving relics of old, studying and observing within the chambers alike, only lit by torch, distant sounds of clangs heard as doors were pried open their relics revealed to light, through the twisting turns and sickening repetitiveness of old the two arrived, a singular chamber illuminated not by torch but by light above, mechanisms dotted around them.

Unused for nearly an Eaon or more, many adepts filled the rooms going about discussing, investigating, even studying one of them approached and showed them the way further, there a hidden chamber and a device upon next to a wall, a scroll once remained now ruined only showing the outline of islands to large to traverse, with red dots placed upon it, perfect grids and numbers on each.

As he ushered her towards she spoke

" And you proclaim this to be the birthplace of our union? all I see are remnants of false gods and ruined relics, this was a waste of my time to be present as I do not have times for such tricks Disciple "

She turned to leave only stopped when interrupted, to her felt like a spawn's scream yet amplified by connection, felt and distressed she writhed in pain, it stopped when she turned to see him pulling back his hand, simply grinning in return

" You see not the power of old, must I demonstrate once more "

Once more he would reach, a singular button upon the mechanisms before him, stopped by the Empress who held out her hand in submission, to much the joy of the disciple resented from attempting once more, observing her rise, and the two began talks of discussion away from prying eyes of old

Within an undisclosed location of Kasai upon the mid-point between that of central and south Africa, a radio signal would be broadcasted across any available open channel, lasting for 15 seconds before ending and restarting, now broadcasting a distress call from the location

On a personal order from Heidrun, 4 Seagull MES's were sent down towards Kasai to scout out just what the hell was going on. One board one of these was a certain Kristian Fridtjoft, famous within Bucksden for playing the ukulele and sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. Which is exactly how he ended up leading this mission of 13.

One of the pilots suddenly notices something in the distance. Some kind of... spire.

"Hey, uh, guys, there's this big tower thing here. Looks man-made."

Kristian responded. "See if you can land us somewhere near it, might be worth investigating. ...from afar, preferably. Everyone, check your equipment, we're not sure what's down here."

Soon enough, the Seagulls find a resting place a fair distance away from the tower, where they can observe it without being disturbed. Hopefully.

the lz is far enough away to where they need binoculars to really see any of the tower's details, i guess
dunno, really, but they're definitely not too close

Mercs Getting High | Part 2
Erimoas | Luyten System | Cymiopolis

As the three Heimdall Class Battlecursiers finalized their orbit around the planet called Erimoas, preparations were already underway for the landing of the battlecruisers. Once all the preparations were complete and checked over at a minimum of three times, the commanders ordered their ships to land on the edge of what they called the Fields of Ambrosia. During their descent the specialized cloaking device on the ships was deactivated, allowing the ships to be visible to the outside world for the first time since they entered the system. When the ships finally landed on the surface of Erimoas, the commanders opened the blast doors of the ships, and gazed in awe at the sprawling, silky light blue colored Fields of Ambrosia.

“Well we have finally arrived at this fabled place.”

“We have indeed”

“Indeed, shall we head out and collect some of this Ambrosia to try ourselves?”

“We shall”

The commanders headed out of their ships into the unknown of Erimoas to collect a significant amount of Ambrosia, to eventually deliver it to Åkreros.

SMUGGLERS IN THE DESERT
AG-GADIR | Erimos, Luyten System | Cymiopolis

A few dozen kilometers northwest of the oasis town of Ubon was Ag-Gadir. Meaning "The Stronghold" in the Erimoan language, Ag-Gadir is a mighty red sandstone formation that over looks over a vast valley of desert teaming with sand worms. It is a breathtaking place that makes Utah's monument valley look like a joke, mostly because the the red rock formations draped in blue-stained sands are breathtaking. Geologist Marco Antonio Cazzaiti, accompanied by his Erimoan crewmates Azruba'al and Ḥomilqart, were on a land surveyance mission to recover ambrosia-concetration samples from the sand and report their findings to Cymiopolitan celestial extractions.

It was growing late and began to set up a camp in a rock formation. The trio had to walk as motorized land transport in the Erimoan deserts is dangerous. The first few Cymiopolitan expeditions into the desert were a painful lesson which proved that the vibrations caused by engines resonates in the sands and attracts the worms. Suffice to say, many vehicles, along with their occupants, were swallowed up hole. Ever since, transport between towns is down by air, a new luxury for the natives, while shorter treks into the desert where there is no infrastructure are still conducted by foot or with Erimoan camels.

With their tents pitched and a fire roaring, the boys kicked back, cracked open a few cold ones and began telling stories while admiring the starlit sky above them. The older Ḥomilqart told stories of his many female conquests and the younger Ḥomilqart professed dreams of leaving the desert world and moving Patagonia when he earns enough savings. As for Marco, he told stories of the "alien" landscapes of earth. Stories of vast seas of water and lush jungles amazed the Erimoans. Prior to starting a new life in the colonies, Marco had always been a vagabond back, travelling from place to place after completing his degree in geology.

As the men were having their fun, something seemed rouse the attention of their camels. Pearing behind the rock formation, the men couldn't believe their eyes. Three large space vessels, clearly not Cymiopolitan in origin, had landed not too far from them in middle of the desert.

"Who the in the hell are those pasty meatheads", whispered Ḥomilqart

"Well boys, by the markings on their ships, they are Trirenian mercenaries. Its a good thing i still remember some Norse from that time I was stranded in Åsgård for a year when this beautiful blond stole my money and passport.", Marco replied.

The bearded mercs formed a small perimeter around a patch of sandworm vomit and seemed way to excited to have made it to "Fields of Ambrosia" of "Erimoas".

"These knuckleheads do realize this planet is covered in the stuff and the Dawdat Alraml make it on a regular basis, right?", whispered Azruba'al

"Well boy, the CCE's marketing firm has convinced the people of earth that the blue sandworm vomit you use to spice up your food and drinks is a super rare and valuable drug, and it seems our Viking friends here want to take some home to turn a profit. It also seems they have difficulty pronouncing Greeks words like Erimos since they keep calling this place Erimoas", said Marco while recording the scene with his phone.

"Uh... what is this "Viking" you speak of", asked Ḥomilqart

"Long story old man. The more pressing issue is that these men are stealing from Cymiopolis and the Erimoan people. We need to go back and inform the boss." said Marco as he drank from his flask of brandy.

      Sounds of old

For as long as they Believed their identity was not alone, even as the band of wondering warriors lead by a warlord would past next to them, spotting in which the noises made and the trails in which they had left behind from their entrance, to them believing to be yet again another animal only one was sent to investigate the intrusion.

A singular Warrior by accounts and by the title he bore of "Asun" Lesser the recent were sent to explore and discover, even as it moved upon them from behind, tripping and falling his weapon falling beyond his grip and right before the back of them with a clang on the surface of the ground, his fate sealed or perhaps not.

As it gazed upon the intrusion and those responsible

Second Eaon = Era of Emergence = Age of Revitalization

By Unintentional or accident their vessel landed on open clearing already marked for someone else, surrounded by forests upon all sides it's clearing large and grand, a group of twenty approached from the borders of the forest onto the clearing to bear witness to a disruption upon their land, neither of their own or of old stories which told the tale of flying birds leaving devastation in their pass.

One by one their purpose abandoned, equipment piled up and left guarded by one as the other approached, talking among themselves in tongue unknown and lost to many but their own awaiting for something to occur, yet should no such things occur they would make it occur as the lead of the group approached, looking at the ground around it for anything it could use.

With Skin of Crimson red and of unfamiliar make it attempted, reaching down beneath it for a stick before tapping the exterior hoping for something to happen as a result

Second Eaon = Era of Emergence = Age of Revitalization

Unbenownest to them their emergence would come as a surprise to the few left to shift through the relics of old and forgotten cousins, a group of three lay witness to their arrival, and so to it their purpose lost the site abandoned for now in hopes for greater treasures and devices of new.

Emerging through the forest towards the place they saw they stood in waiting while one appraoched, bearing a Sigil and banner of unknown make and shape he approached, it's figure stood tall and slender in the gaze of the star above, adorned in cloak and robes concealing much of it reflecting blue, uncertain of intentions or origins stood there awaiting and observing

The Byzantine Expedition carefully heads through the rainforest, nearing the reported location of the spire. As they do, several members of the expedition can't shake the feeling that something is approaching them. Some report hearing footsteps in the wilderness.

Then, a clang. From right behind them. The Byzantines turn around with a start, only to see an literal alien there, his what looked like a spear having fallen from his hands.

And to the distance additional steps could be heard approaching, a voice being heard communicating within a singular phrase unknown to the Byzantines seeming to be a name of sorts as when first spoken from the distance would warrant the stray warrior's head to turn in a frantic and panicked motion, just as the steps would approach coming closer and louder by the second.

A few of the expedition crew had set up a table and some chairs underneath the wing of one of the Seagulls (most likely to play some card games while they figure out what to do next), while the rest were either keeping an eye on the spire or on the sensors within the Seagulls themselves. Just as Kristian was about to settle down, he heard shouting from one of the pilots.

"There's something on the sensors!"

Kristian swore under his breath. "Company, huh? Anyone got visual on these... somethings?"

One of the people watching the tower ran around the corner. "Yeah, about that... the pilot didn't specify how far away they were, right? One of them is approaching us right now. Doesn't look hostile... yet."

"We might get out of this without being eaten, that's good. I'll come around and have a look."

It's at this point that Kristian appears from behind the Seagull closest to these mysterious figures.

The 8 Byzantines in the forward expedition, with only scientific equipment and pistols, make the decision to try and get out of there, taking the creature and his spear with them and rushing back to the main base.
Meanwhile, the main base of around 50 to 60 has people researching the region around the area and a makeshift airstrip for scouting, when the forward expedition comes sprinting into the base.
The base members have no time to ask what happened or what they have brought with them, as they hear the same voices and footsteps that the expedition did.
