Scherzinger wrote:Erwin opened his pocket watch to look at the time, on the cover portion of the watch was a picture of his wife. He smiled at it and closed the watch after obtaining the time. "She's my goddess. She's gorgeous, smart, and far more sympathetic than I. We met through an arranged marriage. In my country, the Emperor is German and his wife is Japanese. Its a tradition in our Empire that the rulers represent the demographic of the people they rule over. Her and I met when we were about 14. I'm very lucky to have married a girl as gorgeous and intelligent as she is. I, of course, care about her very very deeply. She is the first thought in my mind when I wake up and the last thought before I go to sleep. Everything I do is done with her safety in mind." He stated. He was curious as to why the Ciscannian had such an interest in Momo.

Frota absorbed the information like a sponge. She was interested, and even glad to know a little more about Scherzinger's culture. "It is pleasing to hear fate brought you together," she noted. "May your marriage last to the end."

She waited a little. She could not talk about Momo forever, but she doubted Erwin would care enough to continue the conversation. Though then, she recalled something. A certain...special relation between Scherzinger and DA WAAAAGH, possibly Ciscannia's greatest ally - which once had sparked her curiosity during her stay at Scherzinger, now returns to her mind.

"I must apologise..." she begins, still somewhat hesitant, still shuffling through her words, "...but I could not help but notice your nation is undoubtedly close to Dawagh, for a reason I do not yet comprehend. And it is not my intention to butt in, but I would like to understand a little more about your country's relation with their's."

She pauses, for a second. Without a justification for seeking this sort of knowledge, the conversation could end there and then. "Our nation is young, but Kavonia seems to have quite a rich history, and as a minister dedicated to the outsiders, being aware of the history of our colleagues..." She nearly slips out the word "allies", but clearly that would not be the case here. "...is rather essential."

She awaits a response - as she prepares her own.

Erwin spoke again. "Noted. I appreciate your kind words. Momo is a wonderful woman. I hope perhaps one day you'll get to speak to her. She is much more adored than I am. I've heard nothing but positive remarks about my darling." Erwin cleared her throat, he didnt think that it would be appropriate to continue gushing about his wife with someone who likely cared little about it all.

"Dawagh and the Empire have shared a fairly lucrative history together. Our history goes back to before our nations were respectively formed. The conflicts we have shared came out of disputes over land borders that we still hold today. In fact, it was only recently that our nations have really attempted to bring together some sort of peace and begin the process of generating some positive relations between our countries. It really was the whole reason that we even bothered coming out all this way." Erwin stated.

"Perhaps in the near future. I am certain she is as wonderful as you make her seem, if not more." Frota relaxed her muscles: Erwin seemed to be loosening up. While this is by no means the time to let the guard down, the likelihood of an abrupt ending to this conversation seems to have gone down.

"Of course...I have noticed Scherzinger is not one to intervene in just any international affair. I do wonder the reason behind such an urgent calling by Gobskúl." She pauses - maybe, Erwin knows something she does not on the reasoning for this meeting, so she could be coming out with something new. Or not. That is not her priority, anyway. "Do you feel optimistic about the direction your country's relations with Dawagh are headed towards?"

"Perhaps. I wont completely discount the idea of that happening sometime down the road. Though respectfully, given the beliefs and policy of your nation, those talks will likely be ones where we exchange pleasantries and not necessarily talks of trade or any sort of alliance. That said, exchanging pleasantries wouldnt be a bad thing. Perhaps should you or your people find the time, I wouldnt mind having you down in Scherzinger for the Scherzo National Cup. The championship game is to be played between ShangXiang and Hikaboto FC. It's sure to be roaring fun." He replied with his typical emotionless expression.

"You would be correct. The Empire of Scherzinger attempts to remain neutral in every and any conflict that should arise in Kavonia. We will of course support any public allies if they are to come under some sort of attack but currently, Scherzinger has no publicly solidified alliances or allies. We have however begun the process of warming our relations with Dawagh and so, again, decided that coming here would be of great benefit. I don't know anything of the urgency for the telegram, I had decided, regardless of its urgency, to come here so that I could finish the agenda that we had opened up when they had visited us.''

Erwin listened to the last question he had heard. "Optimism is not for me. Its a perception of hope, and I have no time to sit around and hope. Rather, I'm confident in the direction that my nation is going with our historical enemy. We are hoping to start perhaps some mutual archeological expeditions to uncover the artifacts of our ancestors and hopefully find some unity in such escapades"

Frota sighs. "Talks on a potential alliance are long gone...that is, Ciscannia is not expecting Scherzinger's interest in one. We have taken our measures, and stretched out a hand; if that hand is still too far away for Scherzinger to hold, we will not push on the matter. Our people have chosen the path for Ciscannia, it is up to us to fulfil our promises...and if that means sacrificing a deal, or closer relations with your nation, then respectfully, so be it." Frota nods, as if approving of her own statement, or perhaps comforting herself. While intelligent, her feelings would often slightly bleed into her discourse. She proceeded, more calmly; "This does not at all mean the door is shut for the pleasantries you speak of, however. On the contrary - we would highly value a friendly contact between the two nations over cold silence. And I would very much enjoy witnessing such an important football game."

Frota is still not out of questions. Not yet. "I must ask - is there any reason for such a strong stance on this relative isolationism? One that I may not know about, at least."

Erwin once again resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Now it was his turn to respond. He now had to chose whether he would continue with his blatant honesty or if he would choose to sugarcoat his words. He chose the former, but would make sure that his wording was both polite and civil.

"Naturally. It is, respectfully, another piece of evidence that steels my fervent hatred of democracy. Sometimes, not even the people know what is best for them. That's not to say I dont rule with the people in mind. On the contrary actually. However, respectfully, unlike your nation, I wont entertain or install various socialist infections into my country. I hope you can understand how it might look for Scherzinger in any way to entertain any beneficial treaties that may encourage you to let the infection spread further in your nation's various services. So I think I am in agreement with you that any alliances or trade deals will likely be out of reach permanently. That's not to say I wont entertain an alliance with democracies or even left leaning nations. In fact, i believe that my nation is the only proper monarchy here, and I am entertaining alliances with a few nations here, few of them I think lean even remotely to the right. Scherzinger is a bastion and champion of anti-extremism, and socialism i one of many ideologies and practices in the deplorable basket of evil." He said in a civil yet blunt manner.

"To answer your question, the Empire does not believe that, despite its own strong ideological principles, those principles should be forcibly spread through interventionalist methods. We are not isolationist in the sense that we dont want any outsiders coming around the Empire. We are isolationist more in terms of our foreign policy and agenda. We are happy to take part in any events that we are invited to, and ones that we invite others to. However, when it comes to conflicts, take for example the Erland civil war or the conflict going on in the PMF, we do not believe that we have the right to stick our nose into business that doesnt concern us. Funny that one mentions the PMF. Here the delegation sits, enjoying the niceties of the festivities and amenities while the socialist menace infects their country at home. If I were them, I would be much more focused on domestic matters." Erwin rused

Thomas then spoke again. "Hmm... We have several nations to recruit, ideally ones near the equator for ideal launch perfomance. How about Johanna and the Kingdom of Ossik? We could also use some launch sites for polar orbits too." He then awaited a response, preparing his own.

Virginia exhaled, mildly frustrated but holding her composure. She wondered whether it would be a good idea to challenge his argument. Indeed, Erwin represented in some areas the polar opposite of what she personally believed in, as one of the most left-leaning members of the SDM.

But even then, we manage to speak to one another, she thinks to herself. This brings her some joy - the ability to reason with somebody, no matter how distant they stand ideologically. Communication is a first step, not towards a "socialist infection", in her view - but towards something better.

"Well, we shall see what goes on. I, for one, believe our nation is headed in the right direction...but there will always be disagreements on what the best route to take is. But I assume the main goal - yours, and mine - is to ensure the well-being of your people in a developed nation..." She immediately segues into answering his second round of remarks. "...which means what goes on outside your country understandably does not matter as much, and thus does not require your attention. Funny you speak of PMF, actually - as our nation is currently taking efforts to hold peace talks in Ciscannia to solve the ongoing conflict...war is the true disease. To some, it is far easier to fire a bullet than to give a handshake..." Frota eyes Erwin, seeing if she captures a reaction. "But I must agree, it is an odd timing for the PMF to appear here. I would say they might be attempting to leave the impression everything is normal at their homeland."

"No, and our expansion has been extremely limited nowadays. We don't need polar territory for polar launches, anyways. By the way, a polar orbit is which a satellite which passes above the poles of the body being orbited by the satellite used for mapping and reconnaissance satellites, but I'm sure we wouldn't need the latter one.. Anyways, do you wish to discuss anything else?" Thomas responded as Fazio yawned again behind him.

The Authoritarian Electocracy of The Pacific Maritime Federation Delegate's Interactions In Big Fort
After the President's interaction with the Big Boss, The delegation of 3, President Balram Singh, Foreign Affairs Minister Kukur Boka, and Executive Advisor Sundoor Hezda continued the interactions with other delegates individually.

Ciscannia

The President looks to his side and sees one of the Ciscannian delegates, but knowing the situation right now, He chooses not to interact with them as peace talks have been arranged and the relationship between the two nations will be decided there. There is no need to talk to them right now.

Achinoam

The President walks further and sees Queen Sarah of Achinoam, "Your majesty, its a pleasure to meet you" he said, followed by "May I introduce myself, I am Balram Singh, The longest ruling president of The Authoritarian Electocracy of The Pacific Maritime Federation. I believe it is the first time that I've met you."
Then he proceeded to ask "Why do you never visit The Authoritarian Electocracy of The Pacific Maritime Federation? I'm surprised that you've never visited considering how much you travel."

Russrashtria

While the president talks to queen Sarah, Kukur sees the Russrashtrian delegates including Prime Minister Beet Joshibearia who is standing next to the Foreign Minister while he talks to Big Boss. He approaches Joshibearia and says "Prime Minister of Russrashtria, I see. You may not recognize me as we've never met before but I'm the foreign affairs minister in The Authoritarian Electocracy of The Pacific Maritime Federation. Its good to see you present here, anyways what are your opinions on increasing trade and collaborating in arms development? Our National Institute of Military Projects has been interested in Russrashtria for quite a while!"

Dekronia

While The President and The Foreign Affairs Ministers are busy talking to said delegates, The Executive Advisor Sundoor Hezda who has a reputation for being the most pro-militaristic on nationwide issues is having a walk around and reviewing the security which is his normal behavior. He sees Andreas Fazio, The Dekronian President standing near the Foregin Affairs Minister while he talks to the Ciscannian delegate, and chooses to have a conversation. He approaches Fazio and says "From Dekronia I'm guessing?" he said, "I believe I've been to Dekronia in the past to secure a trade deal, I was just a diplomat back then. Its good to see that Dekronia has really emerged on the international stage since then."
"Its a pleasure that Dekronia allows our nation to run military projects in their territory" Followed by "What are Dekronia's plans for The Authoritarian Electocracy of The Pacific Maritime Federation? I'd personally advocate for more military collaboration between our nations."

This is not the place for such silly interventions, and nobody cares.

As funny of a joke as this may be, keep it to the Discord. If you are putting it on the RMB, at least put some more effort into it. Make a whole essay on your president's journey to drinking a glass of water. Make it possible for somebody to reply to such a piece of news. Simply saying that he drank it is not only lazy, but also encourages others (looking at you, Speerland) to clog up the chat with more unnecessary things.
