Basically, most of these new nations are pretty cleary spies. I have been in raiding and intelligence groups for years, and it is so blantatly obvious.

Indeed. You don't need to be a rocket scientist or to be trained in the fine art of high diplomacy to know it's impolite (and potentially unsafe) to go to a place and start insulting the locals. Worldly, older people know it's basic etiquette and plain common sense to respect the natives.
Real life examples : I can safely say "I don't trust Spaniards" here, but saying it across the border could get me in trouble. Or that "Greeks are a nation of people who spent more than they earned, they are famous for not paying taxes and they deceived everybody in the European Union by cooking their state finances books".
But I wouldn't say it over there, would I ? In Greece ? How stupid would that be ?
What you say at home is your business. What you say abroad makes it yours and theirs.

For curiosity I asked the delegate of "The Embassy", being that they're the original embassy collector, if they'd experienced any similar problems. It appears that they had some criticism regarding their "fascist" embassies. I'm sure it all stems from RL organizations like Antifa--which is also very prevalent in the NSverse--labeling anyone who dares to have a different take on the world as a "fascist."

Personally I don't like getting mixed up in that argument either in NS or in RL. This region should be a safe haven from all that. We all get along here even though in RL we may be on an opposite spectrum of philosophy. So much better to think of life as one big party; we only get one shot at it.

Hey guys, gonna replaced this account with my new one.

This will be my main from now on.

is there roleplay in this region?

Big gypsy wrote:is there roleplay in this region?

Only some nations shooting nukes at each other once in a while.

This Region is roleplay light. You can do it, and others may also engage in it with you, but others may also just talk to you normally.

Hm, looks like theres a fight going on with the alliance of eros and the grand millitarisitc region
So many fights...

The Gypsy do not easily follow other peoples' practices and conventions. They tend to follow their own rules. Not everyone is comfortable with that kind of freedom.

I'm not a Gypsy in Real Life, but my wish is to live like one. As a digital nomad. I live in the European Union. I can go from the Spanish cities in North Africa to near the North Pole in Finland, from the Atlantic Ocean to Russia. There one currency only in most countries, the €uro, and there are no borders. The continent-wide railway network is excellent and lodging at hostels is inexpensive. Or I can invest my savings, buy a decent, reliable motorcycle and sleep in a tent. Doesn't matter. All I need is a laptop and fast internet connections, usually found at cybercafés and public libraries. And that's it. You can work from where ever you want. The world is your oyster.

I don’t think oyster is a good analogy for this

Quite right. We're in May. You don't eat oysters on "r"-less months.
