Douglas Henrison was a child when he and his mother fled from a nation that was destroyed by war. Novoblupolia was only beginning to form back then and he volunteered to join the blue star militia - the closest thing the newborn Blupolian republic had to an army. he soon began to realize just how flawed and inefficient the old government was and began to openly speak out against the rule of the corrupt officials. Where the old intelligentsia went to far was passing the Child labour act which allowed the corporations to exploit cheap child labour. For Douglas, that was one step too far. He and his fellow soldiers staged a well-coordinated coup and overthrew the government without firing a single shot. When he announced his plans for temporary benevolent dictatorship to set up a fair and efficient truly democratic system to the crowd outside of the Senate Palace, the crowd cheered, and throughout his entire time in charge of Novoblupolia (10 years), he had a nearly 95% approval rate as every single action he would take was in the interest of the people. He peacefully gave up his power and moved to Horsk where he had spent the rest of his life as a teacher in primary school.
Dude, I've had people yell at me for not liking the sequels and liking the prequels at least twice in April so far.
Well, I guess you aren't allowed to like any movie franchise then, because I guarantee you that almost all of them have fans that are racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise, sequel trilogy most certainly included.
Wait, what?
How!?
Oh wow, two whole times? You poor thing. I had at least three people flip out when I said Episode 2 was bad and the sequels were decent. Does that sound familiar? It should.
Except that's not what I meant. It's a reason why the Prequel fandom sucks.
Did you hear what happened with Kelly Marie Tran? She left social media because she was receiving so much racism and hate
Ok folks, take the conversation somewhere else.
5 minutes ago: Following new legislation in Embauba, disposable antiseptic wipes are considered a social necessity.
Embauba enters Technocracy T-3 with the employment of... robot companions to solve chronic loneliless.
Arcas comments: “We, as Embaubans, are closer than ever to technological singularity; to one of our most sought after objectives ever since months, years. I am proud to say we’re finally making it. [...] we may focus more on other matters if we happen to reach enough technological advancement. I estimate that would be about 1000 points on the Kurzweil [Singularity] index.”
Okay, then every fandom sucks and you have no right to focus on one of them being worse, by that logic.
And why do you assume that must be prequel fans that caused that? "Oh no, an actress left social media because she was being attacked by racists! Must be the fans of that other trilogy! Definitely can't be literally any racist on the planet with social media." Also, you realize that several prequels actors were bullied online, some almost to the point of suicide, over their performance? That's not a new thing, and it's not just racism.
The conversation is over, Kathol.
in the end, its just a movie for people to enjoy, to come together and just have fun
Henri Renson was born to a wealthy military family, with his father being the chief of the armed forces until Renson himself took over the job. He was sent to the best universities in Acadia (and abroad) when he was young, and developed a keen passion for history and politics. He then graduated from an officer's academy as top of his cohort, before quickly rising through the ranks of the military. He saw combat action in the War on Drugs and received several Hero of United Acadia awards during his service for extreme bravery and competence during fighting with professional drug cartel militias. Later, he helped plan the operation which destroyed the last of the organized crime families in Acadia, and brought law and order back to the nation. (The Acadian military helps in combating organized crime, by the way.) After that, he was promoted to chief of the armed forces. He is quite involved in national politics himself and rumors were spreading that he was planning to retire from the military to start a career in politics.
Ah, the negotiator
That is my opinion as well, which is why I get annoyed when people start attacking other fans of the same franchise.
Works for me.
the negotiations were shorter than expected
So, my aircraft use rather neat technology, the COFFIN systen.
Let's just all agree that the best star wars character is spock
is it a metal box that flies, and the explodes?
Douglas was never a man who cared about power. He simply wished to help as many people as possible. One of the first Acts he signed once he took over was The Civil Rights Act, which guaranteed equal rights to all the citizens, including all races, all genders and all the jobs and government positions.
I don't have anything against you or a lot of prequel fans, but I just can't stand that subreddit. We should just put this behind us so we can go back to what we were doing.
Renson is a vain, arrogant, slightly over confident narcissist who still has good intentions at heart but is slightly blinded by his own lust for personal achievement
I'm fine with putting it behind us, but in the future, I'd avoid posting accusations that you know will start an argument unless you want to argue.
COnnection For Flight INterface. The pilot controls it by mental thought rather than physical controls.
I’m a OG fan... also I have been yelled at by Sequals fans for saying the Sequals suck
So having a dark humor must be mandatory in order to be a Mestovakian pilot, I see.
I'm not continuing any part of that conversation.
