Como se tornar um edocano
Para se tornar um edocano, você terá que se juntar à Assembleia Mundial (World Assembly/WA) e apoiar ("Endorse") o delegado Los Glaciares.
Caso contrário, você provavelmente será expulso da região. Nossa segurança também é importante, infelizmente...
Felizmente, este é um processo simples que você pode concluir em apenas alguns passos.

  1. Certifique-se de que sua nação tenha um um e-mail válido nas configurações. Você precisa disso para ingressar na WA.

  2. Acesse a página do WA e clique em "Apply to Join". Não se preocupe, o jogo não restringe a entrada de ninguém.

  3. Verifique seu e-mail para uma mensagem da NationStates. Abra o link na mensagem e confirme seu adesão no WA.

  4. Visite o país do nosso delegado e dá seu apoio ("endorse"). O botão está na parte inferior da página.

Reclamar un territorio
Importante: Al reclamar un territorio tu nación será incluida al roleplay regional

Antes de reclamar un territorio, debes ser edocano. Sigue esta guía para saber cómo:

Para reclamar un territorio sigue estos pasos:

  1. Descarga el mapa actual (está en este mismo dispatch)

  2. Usando un editor de imágenes, marca con un círculo qué zona del mapa quieres ocupar aproximadamente. Debe ser sobre tierra y no ser propiedad de otra nación.

  3. Envía un telegrama a Los Glaciares con la siguiente información:


    ZONA MARCADA: Sube la imagen que editaste a cualquier sitio de alojamiento de imágenes (recomiendo usar Linkcatbox)
    CAPITAL: El nombre de la capital de tu nación, por defecto será "Ciudad de [TU NACIÓN]" si no rellenas este campo
    RECURSO NATURAL: El recurso que se generará en tu territorio. ¡Sé creativo! puedes elegir cualquier cosa, desde petróleo hasta cuero (importante: esto influenciará tu RP económico)
    ESPECIALIDAD: Territorio (puedes reclamar más terreno en el mapa), industria (facilita el comercio y extracción de recursos), militar (comenzarás con un ejército de mayor tamaño) o ninguna. Dependiendo de la que elijas, tu nación tendrá una serie de ventajas o desventajas en el RP.

Una vez el cartógrafo reciba tu solicitud, recibirás una respuesta.

  • Si tu solicitud es aceptada, tu territorio será añadido al mapa, y serás parte del RP regional.

  • Si tu solicitud es rechazada, el cartógrafo te dirá por qué y podrás volver a aplicar.

Governo Regional
Edoca tem um sistema legislativo (Congresso) e executivo (Diretório).
O Congresso cria leis, aprova apontamentos e tudo relacionado à criação de leis. O Diretório executa as leis, cuida da vida diária da região e seus assuntos.
Se tornar um lembro dos dois é fácil.

Edocan Government: Congress

Congress is the legislative branch of the government of Edoca. It creates the laws of our region and checks the executive. The Edocan Congress is a great option for Edocans who enjoy simulating government.
Congress is awarded the following powers:

  • Write and pass laws and modify/revoke previous legislation

  • Modify the founding laws of Edoca

  • Nominate or confirm positions in government

Sounds like something for me. How do I join? Lovely! Simply do the following.
NOTE: Except in a noticeable shortage of members, those who lead a Secretariat in the Directory may not be apart of Congress. Those who simply engage in work for a Secretariat (e.g. Being an ambassador to a region) may be a Member of Congress.

  1. Join the Discord and see #apply in the Legislative category.

  2. Fill out the form provided and send it to Anakona.

  3. If accepted, follow their instructions to move a nation to Congress.

You may miss significant parts of the congressional experience by remaining on-site. Please consider joining Discord if possible.

Edocan Government: Directory

The Directory is the executive branch of the government of Edoca. It involves itself in the day-to-day running of the region and in multiple of Edocan affairs.
The Directory is split into a cabinet and four Secretariats, each with their own Secretary:

  • Cabinet

    • Composed of a President and all Secretaries

    • The President is tasked with reviewing legislation from Congress

    • Secretaries discuss regional progress and what can be done to better Edoca

    • Collaborate with the Prime Minister for a unified Edocan government

    • Hopefully not form a cabal

  • Secretariat of Domestic Affairs

    • Moderation of the RMB and/or Discord

    • Welcoming new nations

    • Recruiting for the region

    • Gathering regional data (Statistics edoca)

    • Publishing communications intended to be read by Edocans

  • Secretariat of Foreign Affairs

    • Sending ambassadors to other regions

    • Handling negotiations with other regions and organizations

    • Publishing communications intended to be read by non-Edocans

  • Secretariat of Roleplay (Affairs)

    • Direct the roleplay and ensure people aren't getting offtrack

    • Host mock sport events (Sports edoca)

    • Maintain engagement and recruit new roleplayers

  • Secretariat of WA Affairs

    • Write recommendations for current proposals at vote

    • Collaborate together to propose resolutions for the WA

    • Promote WA membership, endorsing the delegate and being more interested in the WA

You can pick and choose what you want to do in a Secretariat; You don't need to participate in every single function of one, nor feel like you have to hand over an obscene amount to time to be active in the Directory.
How do I become a member of the Directory?
NOTE: Members of Congress may participate in the Directory in every area except the Cabinet; They will then have to pick between their membership in Congress or vying for high Directorial office.

  • Being a general member of the Directory is easy; apply to join the Secretariat you are interested in. You may be a member of multiple Secretariats.

  • Vying to become the President is done through regional vote; vying to become a Secretary is done through nomination and confirmation by Congress.
