To become a member of the Roleplay Committee, interested citizens must complete an official application form. Applications are only open once every four months, coinciding with the regional presidential elections.

Applicants are selected based on the following criteria: Activity in the regional roleplay, Experience and time spent within the roleplay community, Understanding of the regional roleplay regulations and guidelines, Quality of responses given in the application

The Head of the Roleplay Committee serves as the leader of the Roleplay Committee, which is an State-supported independent agency. While it may collaborate with the Ministry of Internal Development, the Committee operates autonomously and is not subordinate to any ministry. Its primary responsibility is to uphold the standards, regulations, and integrity of the region's roleplay environment. The Head of the Roleplay Committee holds the authority to appoint new Committee members through an application-based system

Although the Head of the Roleplay Committee may also serve concurrently as the Minister of Internal Development, this is not a requirement. The roles are distinct, with the Ministry of Internal Development focusing more broadly on regional cultural matters, while the Roleplay Committee specializes in moderating and structuring the roleplay landscape.

• The President : Serves as the Head of State of the Council of Asia. While not directly involved in day-to-day roleplay affairs, the President acts as a constitutional figure and may offer advisory input or approval on matters with broader regional impact.

• The Minister of Internal Development : Overseeing the region’s cultural, interior, communications, and roleplay activities. The Minister may collaborate with the Roleplay Committee but does not directly supervise it, as the Committee is structurally independent.

• The Head Chair of the Roleplay Committee : Leading the Committee and is responsible for coordinating its overall direction. This includes appointing Committee members via an application process and ensuring that all aspects of the region’s roleplay system function smoothly and in accordance with established regulations. If the Moderators, Cartographers and/or Mentorship positions are vacant, duties of one, both, and/or all shall fall to the Head Chair until recruitment

The Committee itself is composed of the following roles:

• Roleplay Moderators : Responsible for enforcing roleplay regulations. Their duties include monitoring ongoing roleplays, issuing warnings to violators of RP guidelines, and requesting the removal of non-compliant posts. They are not RMB moderators nor border officers; their jurisdiction is strictly within the bounds of RP enforcement.

• Roleplay Cartographer : Maintains the official roleplay map. This includes updating territorial claims, processing treaties, and ensuring geographic accuracy. The Cartographer works closely with RP participants to reflect changes based on in-character developments.

  Current holder(s) : Isla Blovalian

• Roleplay Mentors : Serve as guides for both new and returning roleplayers. Their role is to offer support, explain regional roleplay mechanics, answer questions, and help integrate new nations into the ongoing RP narrative. Roleplay Mentors can be appointed in two ways: Through Roleplay Committee Recruitment Form or Directly by the Head Chair of the Roleplay Committee based on merit (Activeness, Veterancy, and Quality of Roleplay)

I RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMITTEE: MODERATOR, CARTOGRAPHER, MENTOR

1. NEUTRALITY IN MODERATION

• All moderators must remain neutral when overseeing roleplay. Personal biases, friendships, or rivalries should not influence decision-making

2. NEUTRALITY IN MODERATION

• All roleplay rules must be enforced fairly, without favoritism or leniency towards any nation, including members of Government

3. NO FAVORITISM

• Treat all nations equally. If any nation breaks a rule, they must be held accountable in the same manner as any other participant

4. LORE ACCURACY

• When a player sends a Roleplay Message. Read it in its entirely and throughly to make sure there are no errors in terms of Lore or Rule Violation

5. HANDLING RULE VIOLATIONS

• 5a. If a rule violation is spotted, report it immediately to the Head of the Roleplay Committee.
  5b. Provide clear evidence and specify which rule has been broken.
  5c. If the Head of Roleplay Committee does not respond within ten hours and the violation continues, continue to the broader Roleplay Committee for a consensus on how to act, if under five hours no response, take appropriate action to enforce the rules.

6. NO ABUSE OF POWERS

• Abusing moderation authority for personal gain, vendettas, or favoritism will not be tolerated. Any sign of abuse will lead to immediate removal from the Roleplay Committee

7. COMMUNICATION - TRANSPARENCY

• Moderators must communicate clearly with roleplay participants when addressing rule violations, speak English when doing your duty. Any disciplinary actions should be explained with reference to the rules and consult to other committee members and Cultural Minister

8. CONFIDENTIALITY OF REPORTS

• Any reports or discussions regarding rule violations must be kept within the Roleplay Committee. Leaking sensitive information will be considered a breach of trust

9. CONFLICT RESOLUTION

• In cases of disputes (OOC but concerning roleplay), moderators should aim to mediate and find a fair resolution before escalating issues further

10. COMMITTMENT

• Moderators are expected to remain active and dedicated to their duties. If a moderator becomes inactive without notice, their position may be reconsidered

11. PROTECTION OF NATIONS ON LEAVE

  If a nation is on leave-on-notice and another nation attempts to invade during their absence, the invasion must be blocked. No nation should be taken advantage of while on leave.

II SPECIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CARTOGRAPHER

1. NO COLLUSSION IN CLAIM MANAGING

• Map Managers must not engage in favoritism or collusion by granting land claims to friends or allies without them earning it through proper in-game actions or roleplay

2. COORDINATION BETWEEN MEMBERS

• Map Managers must not interfere with the affairs of Roleplay Moderators, and vice versa. Both teams should work together and coordinate effectively to maintain fairness and consistency

3. FAIR AND CONSISTENT MAP UPDATES

• Map changes must be based on valid claims, roleplay progression, or approved expansions. All changes should be documented and communicated to the Roleplay Committee
