-standard issue on aircraft and ground vehicles for eliminating enemy air targets

Air-Dropped Cluster Bomb (Anti-Infantry Bomb) (ADCB)
A cluster bomb specialized for eliminating infantry.

Navy (wip)

War Yacht-a yacht-sized vessel with a medium-sized helipad, generally with an attack helicopter; equipped with 2 AA guns and numerous heavy machine guns; can also be used as a small troop carrier (maybe 50 troops, fitting tightly) with space for a small tank/armoured car for small landing operations

Troop Carrier- 3 AA guns and space for 150 troops, or, more often, 100 troops and a small tank or 50 troops and 2 tanks; several machine guns, especially near the front/deployment area; various models allow for front, side, and back deployment doors; some models are slightly amphibious for better beach landings

various battleships, cruisers, destroyers, submarines etc.

Aircraft Carrier -generic aircraft carrier

Heavy Aircraft Carrier-allows for landing larger planes, 3x as long and 2x as wide (at widest) as a normal aircraft carrier, but can land fewer-but-larger planes

Superfortress-class cruiser-the largest naval war vessel in Tyramon (a little larger than 5 standard aircraft carriers and twice as tall), currently only one in existence (the Bloodwave, with a second, the Red Tsunami, under construction); has interior hangars for submarines, water-landing cargo/troop planes, and an indoor closeable landing strip for jetfighters; several helipads, numerous AA guns, ship-ship and ship-land guns, heavy and light machine guns, and large cargo areas; serves as a mobile base of command in times of war

-range:
-top speed: 250 km/h or 155 mph
-armor rating: medium
-armaments: 2x 40mm autocannons, mounted ATIMs and AAMs
-history: The AO-1 is the result of the Hovertank Project, in which military strategists dreamed of advanced tanks that hovered above the ground, avoiding all terrain obstacles. After thorough research, the researchers were disappointed to realize that what they were envisioning was simply a helicopter. However, the project specifications were not completely met by the helicopters already in use in Tyramon, so the project created the strange child of a helicopter and a tank, which was halfway between both on mobility, firepower, and armaments.

2. Organization and Operations

Vessel/Vehicle Alphanumeric Designation Standard

1) The first letter of a designation denotes the military branch that this vessel or vehicle belongs to:
  • A - Army

  • N - Navy

  • F - Air Force

  • S - Space Program

2) The second letter refers to the type; these vary by branch, but are largely parallel between Navy and Space:
ARMY

  • AT - an Armored Personnel Carrier, or APC

  • AF - an Infantry Fighting Vehicle, or IFV

  • AL - light tank

  • AM - medium tank

  • AH - heavy tank

  • AE - self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon

  • AS - self-propelled artillery

  • AR - towed/non-self-propelled artillery

NAVY

AIR FORCE

  • AJ - jetfighter

  • AI - interceptor

  • AS - ground strike plane

  • AB - bomber

  • AW - multirole fighter

SPACE PROGRAM

  • SJ - starfighter

  • SL - dropship/lander

  • SV - corvette

  • SF - frigate

  • SD - destroyer

  • SR - cruiser

  • SB - battlecruiser

  • SA - battleship

  • SC - carrier

  • ST - troopship/transport

  • SE - battlecarrier

  • SM - mothership

Note that a numerical second digit is used for the early satellite weapons deployed by Tyramon

3) The third letter indicates the class of vessel or vehicle, if any. Sometimes there is no class if the vessel or vehicle is considered "generic", which is indicated either by there simply not being a third letter, or by the third letter being replaced with "null".

4) Generally, anything after the third letter is simply a design iteration specifier.

Organization of the Military

Overview
Prior to the creation of the Tyramonian Space Program, nearly all military forces were split roughly evenly amongst the seven Generals, and each General commanded over a portion of Tyramon's Army, Navy, and Air Force. There was no singular leader of the entire Army, or for the entire Navy. However, the nature of the creation of the Space Program was very unusual. The Space Program came into existence very suddenly during the final battle of Eveline's rebellion, when the ships (many of which were only partially completed) were used by the Royal Emperor to escape. Thus, the Royal Emperor had direct control over the Space Program forces, compared to how previously the only forces under his direct control (as opposed to under the control of one of the seven Generals, as the seven "Armies" which comprised nearly all of Tyramon's military forces) was the Fort Domination Guard. The Space Program, while in exile, also expanded to rebuild elements of other branches, and as such was built up into the Armada of the Tide.

Thus, the entirety of the Tyramonian military is organized into the following groups:
The 1st Army of Tyramon (commanded by General Hannibal)
The 2nd Army of Tyramon (commanded by General Omar)
The 3rd Army of Tyramon (commanded by General Muham)
The 4th Army of Tyramon (commanded by )
The 5th Army of Tyramon (commanded by )
The 6th Army of Tyramon (commanded by )
The 7th Army of Tyramon (commanded by )
The Fort Domination Guard (commanded by )
The Armada of the Tide (commanded by Lt. General Gantz)

3. Other Notes

Transport Capacity Equivalencies

Transportation space includes associated supplies and ammunition.
- 1 heavy tank = 2 MBTs = 4 light tanks
- 1 MBT = 50 human soldiers = 100 robotic soldiers
- 1 SAD = 1.75 LAD (when carried in a larger ship)
- 1 SAD = 2 LAD (internal transport capacity)
Miscellaneous

- The "unitary" thing is so that I can make similar classes of different sizes and just use prefixes to describe the difference, metric or otherwise.
- "Tank" refers to MBT unless stated otherwise.
- Spacecraft described as "well-armoured" really are both well-armoured and well-shielded roughly proportionately, unless stated otherwise.
- ">" indicates that this is a variant class of another ship/vehicle/etc. of the same type
