The Great Milk Tidal Wave of 1952

Port Sanders, Maeiland's second largest city; once experienced a tidal wave of about 17,800 gallons of milk. It was caused by a cargo ship of milk colliding with cruise ship, resulting in tanks of milk bursting into the city's waterfront. The 40 mph (64 kph) wave had damaged 21 buildings, drowned 12 people, and injured 164 people. To this day, people who live around the waterfront say that during hot summer days, one can still smell the stink of spoiled milk.
