History of Kyraina

The Kingdom of Kyraina has a short but very chaotic history. Kyraina started off as a small trading town on the Southern Coast of the Territory of Alaska, as both a Russian/American Trade trade town and a US Army Base, after The Americans had completed the Alaska Purchase in 1867, While the US civil war dragged down in the Continental US. The War continued for the next 20 years, slowly bleeding both the CSA and USA dry of money and troops, this happened at the same time as the Alaskan Gold Rush in 1896-1897, which lead to a surge in population, and where the territory of Alaska got enough gold together to not only buy themselves from the US, but also set up a government to become a country, the US Accepted deal needing the money.

The Letters that would be comes the Constitution of the Kingdom we're signed in the City of Kyraina, and those the country of Kyraina was born, even the Native Alaskan Tribes signed the articles, as long as one of the chiefs became the Chief among chiefs, aka A King. The Tribes elected the Chief of one of the smallest Tribes as the Chief of Chiefs, while the settlers elected their officials and their President.

Over the Next 30 years, the population of Kyraina grew from just under few hundred thousand to just over a million, with the promise of a new land, new beginnings, ways to make yourself rich. While Kyraina was in a harsh land, the gold, and the discovery of Oil made it very attractive to people wanting to start a new life.

When World War 1 came around, Kyraina stayed out of the fighting, but in 1917 the Russian Civil War started. By 1920 The White Russian forces had pushed back east across the Ural Mountains and into the Central Siberian Plains, around that time the King and President of Kyraina had heard of a plot that after the Reds beat the White Russians, they'd invade Kyraina. So Kyraina sent troops to Support the the White Russians. The War dragged on to 1925, with the Reds only managing to capture the Western half of the Central Siberian Plains. They decided to declare a cease fire with the Kingdom of Kyraina and the White Russian Forces. The Area held by the White Russians agreed to become part of the Kingdom of Kyraina

In the 1930s while the Economy of Kyraina Did not collapse, it did go into a recession. Despite this, Kyraina kept growing.

In 1938 Japan invaded China and Mongolia. While China asked for the help of the USSR, Mongolia turned to the Kingdom of Kyraina. The Alliance of Mongolia and Kyraina clashed several times with the Japanese Empire before beating the Japanese at Khalikhan Gol, the Japanese Empire turned it's sights from Kyraina and WeMongolia to the Pacific Islands. The Rest of 39 was filled with border clashes with the USSR, till Germany Invaded Russia, ending the Border Clashes with the USSR. In 1941 the Aleutian Islands were invaded by the Japanese Empire, As well as Attacking the US at Pearl Harbor. Kyraina and The US quickly entered the war on the side of the Allied, and brought the fight to the Japanese Empire. After the Battle of the Aleutian Islands, Kyraina went to war with Japan on the Chinese mainland, along with it's old ally Mongolia. Through the rest of the War in the Pacific theater, Kyraina would slowly push Japan down into the Korean Peninsula, out of Manchuria. After the end of WW2, Which ended after the US dropped nuclear bombs on Japan, the Kingdom of Kyraina and Mongolia fought a brief and bloody war as Communist China kicked ROC forces to Taiwan, and tried to take land from Mongolia. This resulted in Monogolia deciding to fold itself into the Kingdom of Kyraina.

In the 1950s, Kyraina joined NORAD with Canada and the US, as well as working with NATO. It would go onto fight in the Korean War, as well as the war in Vietnam. While it never developed Nuclear Weapons of its own, the US did station nukes in Kyraina.

In the 70s it finalized a deal with the US to buy weapons and equipment for them in exchange for resources, stuff like oil, gold, titanium, etc. This lead to many of the US defense Industries to start up branches in Kyraina and helped jump start Kyraina's defense Industry. The next 30 years saw the fall of the USSR, and Kyrainan troops in in the Middle East especially after 9/11.

90s to present has been filled with border conflicts with Russia
