C H A R T E R P R E A M B L E

We promise tranquility to our people through the means of capable Self-Defence Forces, Non-Aggression Pacts and a prosperous economy.
For we shall guarantee our people shall never be alone when aggressors attack
And that our people may never suffer the horrors of war
Cooperation between Members of the Alliance shall bring peace in the air
So that the economy grows
And that the people shall have abundance of wealth.

A R T I C L E O N E : M E M B E R S H I P

THE SERENE ETHER CHARTER

  1. Never pursue or uphold an aggressive and/or imperialist foreign policy

  2. Be willing to work cooperatively with fellow member states for the purpose of economic prosperity

  3. Be willing to come to the aid of fellow member states in the face of natural disaster, civil strife, or foreign incursion

  4. A nationstate is granted membership only through a majority vote by member states

  5. A nationstate may be removed from the Serene Ether if they fail to adhere to the core principles or by a majority vote by member states

THE SERENE ETHER CHARTER

  1. Article Two dictates that the Serene Ether as a collective alliance entity will adhere to neutrality in global conflict

  2. Article Two Dictates that members of the Serene Ether Alliance may wish cooperate with defensive and economic alliances.

  3. Article Two dictates that the Serene Ether as a collective alliance entity will condemn all nations which practice imperialism and/or possess an aggressive foreign policy

  4. Article Two dictates that member nations are expected to maintain positive diplomatic relations with fellow members

  5. Article Two establishes the Serene Ether High Court of Arbitration (SETARB)

  6. The SETARB is the mediating body for disputes between member nations

  7. Participation in the SETARB is mandatory for all member nations

  1. Article Three dictates member nations commit themselves to a defensive doctrine

  2. Article Three dictates member nations come to the military aid of a member nation facing foreign incursion

  3. Article Three establishes the Serene Ether Defense Council (SETDEF)

  4. The SETDEF is the ultimate source of command and control over the military forces of member nations

  5. Participation in the SETDEF is mandatory for all member nations
