Apnestani Overview

The Kingdom of Apnestan is an Absolute Monarchy ruling over Britain and Ireland, centred around its capital, Wasigat, meaning a shallow, broad crossing in a river. The city was formerly known as Bradford and Leeds before the two cities were joined together. It’s name means “Land of Our People” or “Land of Ours”. It was created by British South Asians living in Great Britain to have an area to call their own. Although the nation was founded by peoples of the Indian Subcontinent, other ethnicities such as Arabs and Turks are also prevalent in the state. The state has 3 officials languages - Punjabi (Mirpuri or Standard Dialect), Hindi-Urdu (Islamabad Dialect) and English (dialects vary by region). All corporal industry is nationalised and technically owned by the King who gives prominent roles to competent and top leaders in their respective fields. The country is very big into religion and spiritualism and the country is officially an Islamic State. The largest religion in the state is Islam at 97%, followed by Christianity at 2%% and Hinduism at 0.7%. Race in Apnestan is diverse too, as efforts to blend South Asians with the local White community took place, leading to most of the country being mixed ethnicity. with 82% being mixed race, 12% south Asian descent, 4% black, and 2% white.
