Hey Wintreath! I hope everyone had a great weekend...for me after a relaxing Saturday, I spent Sunday getting caught up on chores. Nothing related to Wintreath, sadly, but I have some thoughts and ideas I'd like to try to make happen eventually.
Actually, there is one idea I'd like to bring up...would anyone be interested in discussing specific issues on our off-site forums? I thought maybe we could do one a week, with a poll for which answer people would choose and some discussion on why they would go that route. I feel like that'd be hard to do here on the region page, but with the forums where you could have a topic for each issue, it'd work out. What do you guys think?

I'm a little curious though, why was your heart so set on having the most disliked wonders? NS being the popularity contest that it is, it's almost unheard of for someone to want anything they do to be the most disliked.

Actually, it was an computer visual novel called Requiescence that's about your character delving into an old, corrupted cathedral to discover the secrets your uncle alluded to before he died under mysterious circumstances. Along the way you meet others who are there for their own purposes, and of course some of those are potential love interests depending on your choices. It's a fun plot and the writing is where the game is strongest, but the visuals are kinda basic. Mostly generic background scenes and characters that seem to be made from the same body models...they're supposed to be 19 to 34 years old, but they all look like they're about 20. Honestly not sure if it's worth the $10 on Steam...maybe if it's on sale? Like I said, the writing is good but I've read similar in free stories and fanfiction.
That being said, this game came out in 2016 and the people behind it have put out some newer games...might try one of those to see if the promise of the writing is better realized. Especially the games involving vampires :D

And as for your question: why not? I knew I wasn’t going to get the most liked, nor most impressive, nor controversial, nor etc. So I settled with the most plausible opinion. Who cares if it means my Wonder is the most disliked? An achievement is an achievement nonetheless!

Yall, I’m a magnet for near death experiences. I’ve activated a rattlesnake that was sitting a few feet away from me. I’ve nearly killed myself numerous times. Almost getting hit by a car, a bus, strangling myself with the cords on blinds, clotheslined myself while riding my bike at a very dangerous speed, etc… you name it. I’ve probably done it to myself.

Hey everyone! I read that yesterday's eclipse was the last one for 17 years in the US, so I hope that anyone in the path of it enjoyed it. It was just a partial eclipse where I live, so the sunshine looked weaker but that's it. Yikes...that reminds me, I'm told I almost strangled on blind cords with I was very young. Apparently I was between my parents on the coach while they were watching a movie, and they were so into the movie they didn't notice I was strangling until I was blue. If they hadn't noticed for a minute or two longer I probably wouldn't be here. v_v

I suppose right now my advice is more general...take some time to get settled in, get some idea of what you want to do in NationStates and in our region, and then experiment to figure out what you really want to do.
