We are exporting uranium for $19,000,000 USD
That's close to 90 times the spot market rate per metric ton (and usually uranium - not uranium ore i.e. uranite, but refined uranium - is sold on a per pound basis), unless what you're exporting is weapons-grade, in which case you'd be in contravention of several international non-proliferation regimes. Unfortunately, there's no real winning with this, so maybe find alternative exports instead!

That's an interesting and apt perspective...one of the reasons I did the poll is because it feels a lot like the 1930s...proxy wars where factions are testing new technology and tactics, the rise of fascism and nationalism, the breakdown of both national and global institutions...maybe not that last one yet, but they do seem to be exposed as pretty ineffective. It's hard not to feel like it's not a harbinger of something big and bad. =/
