my windows 10 suddenly downgraded to windows 7
I saw my dad doing something to the laptop last night, hope it's not this
I guess the laptop was at first W7, then upgraded to W10 through the tool, but then he hit the factory restore?
I had a similar issue (from around 2016) when my W8→W10 suddenly had a virus and I had to factory reset
I confirmed with my dad and it was a factory reset, as you guessed it.
Dang, 20 year laptop that will auto shut down if I take off the plug for 5 secs really did a good job.
