I opted, as de facto caretaker, to consign it to history with the passing of the year after more than three years without native presence and no sign of imminent return. I was never asked to be the bearer of the history of ASE. Nonetheless, I have archived their factbook entry, regional activity history, and the entire eleven year record of the regional message board.
Gone, but not forgotten.

What a shame to see the Allied State of Euroislanders fall. Twenty years, however, is an exceptional run.

While our sister region may be gone, our cousin(?) Anticapitalist Alliance is still around. I keep trying to establish an embassy with them but no-one occupies the regional admin positions.
