Did the USSR not disintegrate in your nation's timeline? It is still around in ours.
Before I joined SR. The USSR wasn't a thing :P
I do know that real nations that exist or have existed are not allowed in SR.

The Sand Devil, a kaiju which is considered the King or God of the other smaller Sandworms, stands at 50 meters tall (164 feet) and is 237 meters long (777 feet). It has multiple abilities like regeneration, a very thick carapace, sharp teeth, the ability to dig many miles into the sand and then spontaneously dig up and leap a great distance, swallowing anything in it’s way. The last time it was recorded being ever mentioned was in 1371. However, it is nothing but a myth (but it is real, just not discovered yet). There are two paintings. The first one depicts a massive sandworm with a crown over its head leading an army of elder and young regular sandworks towards a Al-Khazran medieval army, the second one depicts an even bigger sandworm, again, with a crown over its head with a large, straight beam of red light coming from the creatures mouth, being fired into the sky, as a medieval village burns and buildings collapse around the creature.
These paintings come from, “The Myth of the Arrakis Demon,” which details a war between Al-Khazran and the sandworms, and a massive king of the sandworms dubbed The Sand Devil, which in the myth led the sandworms in a crusade against humanity, starting with Al-Khazran. By the end of the war, the creature is said to have grown 3 times it’s size, and began to use a beam of shining light that cut anything it touched, destroying everything. This new version was dubbed, The Sand Leviathan. The myth says the war ended after this new form was severely injured after a major battle, and dug itself miles and miles into the sand.
Since then, it has not been referenced in about 600 years, meaning it’s existence has not been proven and it has remained a myth and legend ever since.
Until the Second Kaiju Awakening, where it will return again as it’s Sand Devil form…

The Observer Squad
Hunters of the Grand Planetarium Cathedral are given the mission to observe important events.
These hunters are also sent to locations of high intrigue. That is, places of mysterious importance.
During one mission the Observer Squad was given, they encountered a group that would later be known as the Nightshade Clan.
Porta Caelum, Grand Planetarium Cathedral
15 hunters kneel before a single man at the altar, with two other hunters beside him. He asked the leader of this group a question.
“What is this new nation you have encountered?” The figure said. “Will they be of any worth to us in the future?”
The leader of the squad replied, “They hail from the United Kingdom of Gojira, named after a large creature they worship.”
Another hunter from the Observer Squad responded to the figure’s second question, replying, “It would be advantageous for the collective to understand their way of life, including any other nations they are in contact with.”
The figure did not give an immediate response, thinking about what to say. “Continue observing the Gojirans. Find out what else they want from us.”
The 15 hunters from the Observer Squad all responded, saying, “It will be done, vicar.”
They all stood, turning away to exit the Grand Planetarium Cathedral. The vicar turned, facing the altar. A simple, silver chalice with no engravings or gemstones was on top, filled with the blood of the dead. He grabbed the chalice, lifting it gently in the air.
The United Kingdom of Gojira would be an interesting ally, he thought internally.
Night Sky Manor
It has been several hours within the Night Sky Manor, with the Starsight Collective’s leader currently at a workbench. He was modifying a rifle, having disassembled part of the firearm. A small table at the other side of the room had tea on it, still hot.
“This nation…” the old hunter said. “I take it that our first contact with them went well, yes?”
“There were no issues, Cardinal.” the hunter replied. “Those of us from the Observer Squad have an interest in learning more about them.”
“Keep yourselves concealed,” the Cardinal said. “Return to the manor when you are finished.”
The four hunters from the Observer Squad bowed, leaving the room to exit the manor. Cardinal Viper, still at the workbench, continued modifying the rifle he disassembled. Yet, that was not the only project he would be working on. To the left of the workbench was a pistol that still needed to be upgraded. A firearm, created by one of the many different workshops that are part of the Starsight Collective.
The Night Sky Manor was the large, fortified home of the Starsight Collective’s leader, Cardinal Viper. Hunters assigned to the manor constantly patrol both the interior and exterior of the home. Their capelets were black, and protected the hunters from the current rainfall, presently heavy. There was no thunder heard or lightning to be seen in the dark, cloudy sky. A woman opens the door to the room Viper is in. She looks at the small table with unfinished tea, before staring at her leader.
“Master Hunter,” the woman said. “What troubles you tonight?”
He looks in her direction, finished reassembling the rifle he modified. “Nothing severe, caretaker.” Viper moves the rifle to a wall mount gun rack, just above the workbench. “I am simply being cautious.”
The caretaker steps forward, moving to the table with the untouched tea. “I will not question that.” She takes the teacup and teapot, giving no reaction to the unnaturally consistent warmth. “We are in a new world, Master Hunter. There will always be a need to be cautious.”
The woman walks away, taking the unfinished tea with her. Viper grabs the pistol he was about to disassemble, placing it on the workbench. Rainfall hit the windows of the room, making muffled impacts as he inspected the firearm. The gas lamp on the workbench flickered, yet stayed lit. It was currently the only illumination present in the room. Viper would hope that the United Kingdom of Gojira, if they truly are friendly, would not bring with them other nations that are not so kind.
The Caretaker
The woman walks down a hallway, followed by two hunters from the Observer Squad. She is still holding the unfinished tea she took from the room Viper was in, making her way towards the kitchen to dispose of it. Without looking, she speaks to both hunters.
“Are you interested in my conversation with our master?” she said. “There was nothing special about it.”
“We are not worried about that,” one of them replied. “Aside from the Cardinal, we still have orders to protect you.”
There is silence in the hallways for a few moments, as the caretaker had no immediate response. “Both of you may go. We have already reached the kitchen.”
Both hunters from the Observer Squad bow to the woman, then leave. They walked down another hallway, disappearing from the caretaker’s sight. She walks into the kitchen, disposing of the tea that her master never drank, replacing it with a plate of snacks and water. By the time she walks back to where Viper is, he will have already reassembled the pistol he was modifying. The caretaker walks out of the kitchen, staff unbothered by her appearance.
On her way to Viper, she notices other hunters in the hallway. More individuals assigned to the Night Sky Manor, and not part of the Observer Squad. Although, the caretaker has seen them so consistently that she knew the two dismissed earlier were still observing her. It did not bother her. The hunters from the manor acknowledged her briefly, before returning to their duties.
Making her way back to Viper, she opened the door to see him still at the workbench, upgrading his weapon. It was a slab of metal, with two different sides. One, meant for cleaving, while the other side was designed for serration. Both the metal and handle were freshly wrapped in new bandages. The arcane writing on the metal remained unchanged, and mostly covered by the wrappings.
“Back already, caretaker?” Viper said. “I was just about to leave.”
Very nice
Will mention this in my next Kaiju Saga SR RP posts
