Then they'd be like "In what??? A PHOTO OF WHAT???" then I have to snap out of my lil daydream and figure out where I am and what to say.
Francois Isidore
Again, I am asking the same questions.
Can you tell us about your history?
How will you advertise your campaign?
There is nothing but speed.
DEATH TO THE MUSSOLINITES!
In a feeble attempt to gain power in Fuime, advocating ‘A Speed Revolution’ in the name of not Accelerationism, but Fascismo, Benito Mussolini has been ousted and ‘enlightened’ to the mysteries of the void after a pathetic 1 day rule,
GLORY TO THE FUTURE, AND DEATH TO ALL THAT STAND IN IT’S WAYS!
Something strange is happening in Fuime...
Francois Isidore, I don’t know if you answered this question in your “candidation page” but what is the first thing you would do if elected delegate?
I'm in the process of responding to your questions! I read them when you first asked them, it just takes a minute to type heh
There are a number of things that I bring to the Delegacy that my opponents don't, but you should vote for me because I'm the only candidate standing who was clearly prepared going into things, has the endorsement count to make the impending transition go as smoothly as possible, brings ideas to the table that'll work to address key issues and inspire people again about what our government is doing for them, and because I have the work ethic to back all of it up.
I'd say those are some of my greatest advantages, if not more.
This is a very good question. I think I'd do a few things instead of one, actually.
1.) Update all of our dispatches that are either outdated or contain inaccurate information (Hint: It doesn't take long to edit a dispatch).
2.) Get the ball rolling on an internal audit within the Ministry of Cards and work from there to build up its infrastructure.
3.) I'd, obviously, appoint my cabinet full of Ministers (but I included it here since I didn't know if that was a given for "at the start of your term")

If you were the delegate would you suppress all your double posts?

More questions :). What is the best thing about your opponent Nimarya?
Francois Isidore and Jakit
Ya'know, I should suppress this double-post.
But, I'll let this one slide....

I've been able to advertise my campaign in a many ways. Including (although not limited to):
Sending out a region-wide telegram about it using my own stamps
Creating a dispatch adaptation of my message for gameside audiences (and linking it in TGs and on the RMB)
Being interviewed by our Minister of Radio in a Town Hall-style broadcast (which I can link you to)
Encoruaging those who support me to wear supporters badges or my campaign pin
Making myself available for impromptu Q&A sessions either on Discord VCs or here on the RMB for this AMA
and by encouraging citizens to participate in our democratic process
(Note: Will tell you about my history at the end of the hour. It's a doozy :P )

I think any moderator or member of TNP's main page of the moderation thing technically has the right to triple post as well if you ask me...
Hey. Question. Whats ur favorite color?

If you win the election, how would you try to combat spammers and double posters?
I'd be subject to the same rules and regulations as everyone else, so suppressing myself would just be a way of not abusing my power and making sure that rules are applied equally to people regardless of what position they may hold.
I'm colourblind IRL, but my favourite colour (that I know of anyway!) is crimson/dark red or metallic silver.

Fun fact:
You can’t suppress yourself.

I actually spoke about this in my campaign thread when I answered someone" else's question about it.
If you don't mind, I'll quote my response here for your reading pleasure:
"Unfortunately, there are disgruntled nations who often spam, double post, get people riled up with their antics, or otherwise seek to disrupt the flow of conversation on our RMB.
Despite this, as Delegate, I can only use my border controls authority in ways that are acceptable under Section 7.3 of the Legal Code on Onsite Authority, seen here:
Section 7.3: Onsite Authority
11. Violators of NationStates rules, or residents banned offsite by forum administration, may be subject to summary ejection or banning.
12. Residents banned on the basis of forum bans imposed by forum administration may not be banned for longer than the length of the ban imposed by forum administration.
13. Nations recruiting for other regions may be subject to summary ejection or banning.
14. Nations for which the Court has issued an indictment permitting it may be ejected or banned.
15. Nations that have been so sentenced by the Court will be ejected or banned.
16. The official performing an ejection or ban will promptly inform the region and Government.
17. The Serving Delegate may regulate the Regional Message Board as they see fit.
18. Such regulations may not prohibit speech which is in the context of TNP politics.
19. All actions of the WA Delegate, the Serving Delegate, or of their appointed Regional Officers related to this section will be subject to judicial review.
In addition to that, I also have to be mindful of what the Bill of Rights says when going about RMB regulation:
8. The regional power of ejection and banning may not be granted or exercised, nor forum bans imposed, unless expressly authorized pursuant to the Constitution or the Legal Code. Any ejected or banned nation is entitled to prompt judicial review of the matter.
Trolls and spammers can be dealt with via the use of the communications authority on-site (I.e. post suppressions) and, if needed, GHRs for NS moderation to get involved.
My plan is to enforce our laws and RMB guidelines fairly and equally to all who may violate them and to use my BC/communications authority properly."

No, but you can delete double posts. Thus, I could still hold myself accountable to the same rules as everyone else
In terms of areas of government, her area -- Defense -- has been one of the high points for the current administration. I think that she's someone who's able to work well enough and she has expeirnece in HA too (which is a bonus)
Post self-deleted by Francois Isidore.
Interesting.
Well you certainly sound like someone who's gonna get the job done.
For me personally, I would take on my own policy entitled "No Remorse, No Chances"; which is inherently just another way of saying if you spam or double post (the latter is for if you do it more than once), you get a straight banjection.
I know this may be a bit... Draconian, to say the least, but it's just my own thoughts as I think we need to end the dumpster fire mess that constantly plagues this region on the near daily.
Ten more minutes, everyone!
Do you have any other questions for me?
(I'll be answering any other questions asked of me in the next ten minutes even if it takes me past 5PM CST to answer them)

The 7 new districts:
It was yet another rainy day over Moisen, and the 7 directors had just reunited in their meeting room, which was in need of renovation.
Since the fall of The Foederatio, political forces in Moisus had struggled to gain enough control and funds to establish themselves in a dedicated political building or office. This is not different for the Directorate, as for now. Not everyone recognized the Directorate of the 7 as the true Moisian government, as no official speech had been held yet about Moisus’s new government, but news had been slowly spread about the formation of this new government.
The directors were sitting once again around the table, which had been moved closer to a wall, with Alexander Mithras standing at one of the short ends of the table again. He was standing in front of a television, which was linked to Alexander’s laptop, in which he had two maps of Moisus: One with the old regions, and a blank map.
-Well, well! We talked about this beforehand, so I’m pretty sure that you all know what this means and what we’re about to do, right? He said, as he looked at all the other scientists, with a confident smile.
Everyone nodded and Alexander proceeded to show the map with the old provinces. He looked at the map in disgust and giggled slightly.
-It seems that it’ll be our last time seeing this map, right? Heh… Well, as we know, this has been Moisus’s traditional provinces map. For logical reasons, it doesn’t include the newer territories our nation acquired during the fall of the Foederatio, as we didn’t control it beforehand. Thereby, we shall continue and decide Moisus’s new regions and their overseeing centers, basically, their capitals. Said Alexander, and switched the old map to the blank new one, with Moisus’s new territory.
Everyone looked at the new map during a short amount of time and then looked at each other with shifty eyes. Of course, Moisus’s population, cities and resources weren’t distributed in the same way throughout the entire nation, so surely some directors were going to end up with better regions than others. Alexander himself knew this since the beginning of his map redesigning idea, but he also knew that the directors weren’t that picky…
He started drawing several lines, until he ended up dividing the nation in 7 regions, which comprised the following lands: (*Their names are not official)
1. Moisen and the surrounding areas (Cosel and Celis), with the capital being the city of Moisen.
2. Northern Moisus, formed by the traditional regions of Aris and Silus, with the capital being in Sardilium, the fastest growing city in the entire country.
3. Pinses (plus some territory of Cosel), Moisus’s southern region, which had always been more advanced than the others, with it’s capital in Lustrium.
4. Southeastern Moisus. A province comprised by Apins, half of Rales and a part of Celis, with it’s capital in Burdas.
5. Northeastern Moisus, comprised by the other half of Rales, a part of Celis and Suris, with it’s capital in Leopolis.
6. Southern Miruma, with the capital city being Heliopolis.
7. Northern Miruma, with it’s capital being the old capital of Miruma, Urbis.
After all the directors saw the new districts, they looked at Alexander. One of them asked him for a fair way to give out the districts. Alexander responded, saying that an anonymous vote should be held between all of the directors. Every director will have 7 votes in total, one for each district. They will have to vote for another director to rule in one specific region. If one director wins in more than one district, another vote will be held to choose which district they will end up with, and the second one will be the one that gets the district.
After Alexander finished explaining the rules of the vote, they all spent their last minutes of the meeting thinking, and then decided to see the votes in the next day…

If you were elected would you extend Border Control powers to a member of the Security Council, like Pallaith did with Nessie?
Francois Isidore will you make Loafism the official religion of TNP?
