The drive to Kerry was long one, the armed police had to be flown in they had been tipped off about the rebel activity in the area the force was suppose to be 10 in number but 2 had come down ill 2 days before and where still to weak to join in at first the considered delaying the mission but if word got out that the rebels had a new stronghold that they could even kill a old man without the police doing anything? that was not worth thinking about the murder was a week ago and already slowly the rumors' began spreading that had to stomp out before the communist regained their loss hope.
The ambush was a good one, Stetson and Jeremy in the lead car had the main armored van behind them where the rest of armed response where, Jeremy as the driver made a fatal error when he spotted the tree that had fallen into the road he though correctly informed everyone on the radio and slowed down, his mistake was stopping and getting out of the car with Stetson to try and move it. The gun fire quickly turned Jeremy into little more but are armored torso missing limbs in a puddle of flesh, blood and shattered bones. Stetson was more lucky he was able to make it into cover behind the car yet with both his legs not working on account for holes that had been put in him meant he could not reach the armored Van.
The remaining 6 police officers tried to get out and return fired yet the rebels in their prepared positions with lots of cover and hidden behind the hedges caused them to not only have targets but in an attempt to get of the kill zone on foot 4 officers would be injured and the 5th sergeant Conor would be killed, this broke their morale and instead of fighting their way out or even saving Stetson they just ran.
With Van out of sight the rebels collected their new prisoner Stetson and slowly more and more rebels began to come out of hiding all across east Ireland.

The people of Kerry fell into despair the rebels began to exact more wealth from the people allowing them to increase their influence across the land, if something was done soon then this would be the nexus of a new rebellion. The rebel main base was the in the town hall, it was made up of one large room with 2 side rooms to their left and right connected to said main hall by a hall way. The lights would fail for a moment which was not unusually after all the diesel generator was never reliable.
The figure moved in the darkness as the rain beat down and lighting strike in the distance the 14 rebels where spread out in the town hall, 2 guarding Stetson in the east wing with 6 sleeping in the west and 6 including the leader in the main hall playing cards and enjoying their stolen wealth. None where paying attention to the figure outside in the road who had just slipped into the sewers after hacking into the internal camera system he began to plant charges. At 04:23 local time the figure slipped out of the sewer and checked his weapon. At 04:24 the wall of the east wing into the empty room was blasted inwards both rebels who where guarding the prisoner in the other room turned towards the hole raised their rifles and then went blind as the flash bang went off. What happened next was a blur to Stetson the stress of the ambush, the bad treatment he had received in rebels hand and the disorienting effect of the flash bang effected his sensors. All he knew for sure was was the distinctive sound of 30 Cal machine gun and a large armored hand, the size of his head grabbed him and dragged him out of the hole. Both rebels guarding died all most instantly one had his head removed by gun fire while the other was split in too, as 4 rebels rushed forward from the main hall quickly found themselves been gun down by the same gun. The red handed rushed for the main door trying to escape as the leader lay behind the large over haul table, as the leader looked to the red handed as he reached the door he let out a scream as the red handed left leg, and right side of both upper and lower torso where blasted out from him resulting in him becoming mostly a red baste on the double white oak doors. The leader shaking ready his revolver and look over the table to see nothing, no commandos, no red hunter or even a member of the green tide, he heard junior voice say "look at you shaking like the fool you are." as the leader turned his eyes would meet the the lowered gun of the British solider. And with one last press of trigger the British forces wiped out all 14 rebels present. The main stream press would claim this action was done by the commandos while a free lance journalist would hunt down the morgue where these bodies where stored and would comment on how all 14 where missing their heads leading to the theory that red hunters had been deployed as their skull taking was well known.
The truth was a older British unit had been deployed the ones behind the power armour used by the red hunters these forces numbered no greater then a 50 and where made up of commando veterans who showed an real skill for shock and awe. deployed to infiltrate a targets location they then would spring a trap made up of quick and rapid assaults', either capturing the target in the case of officer Stetson or exterminate the target as seen by the leader of the rebels. Their armour allows for improved speed, increase combat effectiveness as it would allow for the soldiers to simple absorb a greater deal of punishment and keep fighting and finally the terror factor of a 6 foot tall armoured figure stepping out of the shadows to gun you down with a 30 calibre machine gun or slitting yourself with a bayonet. However their few in number highly specific role makes them hard to deploy in most situations.
