"WATCH OUT! Break! Break!"
The fighters broke out into evasive maneuvers, darting to and fro, getting the eff outta the way of its tail. Most of them succeeded, although one or two were instantly incinerated when they made contact with the beast.
"Note to self, don't get anywhere close to that thing" Captain Waters muttered dryly.
"Attention all aircraft, prepare to execute attack formation Delta. If we all hit the thing at once, there's no way he can get us all!"
The jets began buzzing about like flies, circling the beast and dodging jets of fire that emanated from its body. Missiles streaked out from the undersides of the jets, flying toward the monster. Those that did hit seemed to do little against its molten body. But they weren't ready to give up just quite yet!
"Keep firing, we gotta do something! And more importantly, we need to keep him off the fleet anchored near by! That would be a disaster, now wouldn't it? If he managed to slip past us and mess with the fleet, huh?"

The silence was broken by the distant roaring of an engine of some kind, followed by screaming, and silence again. A small boy appeared in the doorway of a building no more than 200 feet away from the group of Sanadan soldiers, hurriedly motioning for them to get inside. The roar of the engine again broke the still silence as the snow fell, this time much closer. It didn't sound like a vehicle, more like...a power tool. The Riverian boy looked down the side street, before slowly looking back towards the soldiers. He gently pressed a finger to his lips.
The engine could be heard idling around the corner of the side street, its steady timing almost rhythmic. Boots could be heard under the sound of the idle now, large, heavy boots. A massive creature stepped into the wide main street, brandishing some manner of homemade chainsaw, clad from head to toe in heavy iron armour, moving very slowly, raising its face toward the sky. A featureless face could be seen as it lifted its mask, revealing nothing but a pair of slits where a nose should be, and a pair of holes where ears should be. The creature reached down, turning the saw off, letting the streets fall quiet once more. The Riverian boy in the doorway crouched down, his finger still pressed to his lips, staring at the blood spattered monster in the street. The creature let its head roll along its shoulders, turning its eyeless gaze towards the group of soldiers. Its heavy footsteps echoed through the street as it approached the soldiers, sniffing the air.
The sound of a thrown stone caught the creatures attention, causing it to slam down its mask, and start the roaring saw once more as it ran down the street. The little Riverian boy looked up to the roofs, and gave a thumbs up to woman who had been watching from above. The woman motioned for the soldiers to follow the little boy, before disappearing back out of sight.

Zazumo and Lorigia
Over in the distance, Ketrogrande International Airport was about to handle flights from the world. Air Lorigia flight 8912 on nonstop service from Ketrogrande to Freetown was about to take off. The pilots readied the throttle to take off. They took a breath as the plane was about to leave the ground.
In the cabin close to the cockpit, there were five hijackers ready to repeat what happened with Lungha. Air Lorigia 8912 had 66 passengers on including the hijackers. Five crew members and three technical pilots in the cockpit. The plane left the ground and quickly reached 10,000 feet, the cruising altitude.
Promptly, the hijackers got up and assaulted the cockpit. They smashed down the opening and immediately killed the pilots and the plane was in their possession and domain. Immediately, they turned back to Ketrogrande. The hijackers cheered and laughed and the passengers had no idea what was going on.
The ride was bumpy. Then, the passengers noticed upon the window that they were near Ketrogrande. They all shrieked. However, there was a building that was near. Then, people remembered. This was where King James II of Raccooniah and the president of Lorigia were meeting. The all braced for impact until the plane collided with the building.

Because "letting go" of capitalism is letting go of a potent source of economic strength. The abolition of private property is a disastrous state of affairs for the people. Some limits have to be placed on the private sector, but completely demolishing it and placing it under absolute government control through socialism is a recipe for catastrophe.

Vento Aureo - Roundup and Finale
Chapter 3: Il Vento Aureo / Velvet Tears
It was the very early morning of yet another day in Tiara’s “villa”. The large mansion that housed her, Persia Allenbach, Natalia the Third of Azenyanistan and Paulina of Azenyanistan. Tiara missed the days where she could lounge around at 5:30 in the morning with her Blade, Nia, but those days have long since passed. Nia was now with a better Driver. One that would protect her way better than Tiara ever could. Or so, the Rynese Empress hoped. Tiara, unlike most days, was wearing her full set of clothing. The cold of the current season was not exactly good for going on barely more than just a shirt, after all. Her pale skin contrasting with her silver-blueish hair, which contrasted with her sharp, crimson eyes. As usual, a white underdress, a purple overdress, and her favourite skirt coupled with her two bracelets, collar, tiara and stockings was in the menu.
She began her day by heading out of the room that she shared with her dear wife, and into the kitchen. She began her daily routine of preparing herself a coffee, as she’d need it to get through the long days of the Rynese Empire. Once she had that all ready, she took a small sip of the warm coffee as she began to head outside, to check things out as usual. Life in the Rynese Westerwald was, as one would expect, very calm. There were few things in life calmer than it, and most weren’t quite as satisfactory. She headed, slowly and gently, through the front door. The colder air, carried by small winds hitting her face, moving her hair a little. She wasn’t fazed much by it.
She continued to walk across the large front courtyard, towards the garage. She continued to take small sips of her coffee as she made her way there, and once she had it open, her small collection of vehicles that made her so proud was there in its full glory. A Lancer Evolution 6, A Skyline BNR32 GT-R, A Fairlady Z S30… and the car that started it all. The Lola Mark 6-4 of the 3rd Generation, often known as the 6-4/3. It was… her very first car. A race car at heart, powered by a 5 litre V12 engine with direct injection. It was an utter beast, and Tiara loved every last part of it. Sadly, due to lack of use, and the fact that Tiara was always a little afraid of it, the vehicle hadn’t ran in two years. However, it always brought her good memories. Good memories of the past that once was. She slowly walked up to it, and while sipping her coffee, she traced the vehicle’s aerodynamic shape with her left hand.
Two years since she last raced with Audrey Belrose as her in-race Engineer and Shizune Shima as her mechanic. Two years since that race… the 4 Hours of Brandenburgring of 2039. Tiara didn’t win, they never did, but they had always been competitive. That race was no different. A 14th Place overall, and 3rd in her car’s class. It was rather impressive, for a then outdated model of the car. Of course, with the care that Audrey, Tiara and Shizune put into it, nobody was really surprised at the vehicle’s performance. It was a monster, a monster that scared Tiara. But it was a monster that Tiara would learn to love again, and that she’d learn to get over.
It was then that she began to reminisce about the good old days. The funky music of the racetrack, the jokes, the work that those three put into the project… She wished she had a time machine just so she could go back there and enjoy that once more. It was something that she missed dearly, having a group quite as tight as they were. Of course, Shizune was still with her. She practically never left Tiara. But on the other side, Audrey, due to circumstances relating to college tuition, left the group, and Tiara along with it. Tiara and Audrey… They were girlfriends at the time. Audrey was Tiara’s first love, and Tiara was Audrey’s “true love”. The one girl that she promised she’d stay loyal for for all eternity. It broke Tiara’s heart, when Audrey left, but she was, as always, comprehensive and supportive. After that day, they never talked. They didn’t know if they were still alive or not, but they could sense it. They had a connection like no other, a connection not to the soul, but to their powers. Specially now, that Tiara had been blessed as the only descendant of a dying Goddess, and inherited that Goddess’ powers. She could just feel that Audrey was somewhere out there. But Tiara never went to look for her. For Tiara… she was bitter. She had a bitter taste to her mouth whenever she thought of Audrey. She didn’t hate her… far from it, she loved her just as much as she used to, but her heart hadn’t healed yet. Tiara didn’t know if it would ever heal, period.
But… she couldn’t resist thinking and reminiscing about all the great moments that they shared together. How much they learnt together, how they depended on one another… Tiara owed Audrey, and vice versa. When they first met, Audrey was… a trainwreck. A girl that was going on failed relationship after failed relationship, alcoholic, that smoked both cigarettes and things more powerful than them, such as weed. Tiara at the time was an alcoholic herself, though she had never once smoked, and never would. But they seemed to get along, and with the time that they spent together, past meeting Shizune, past the racing… They built on one another. Audrey left drugs, and eventually, left alcohol. Tiara, thanks to Audrey and Persia, would leave alcohol. Both of the girls came clean for one another, but the time that they spent together like that was reduced to six months. Those last six months were the happiest that they had together, as they felt truly alive alongside one another. They found happiness in each other’s arms, but most importantly, they found happiness working alongside one another. But that happiness eventually ended in heartbreak.
And yes, Tiara missed those days. She missed the days that she could call Audrey “her girl”. The playful banter between the two of them, the teasing, the love that they shared… She missed it. She missed every last part of it. But she didn’t want Audrey back. She couldn’t, her heart would sink into the deepest pits of depression if Audrey appeared. She had not gotten over her at all, in fact, she was missing her more and more as time kept going on, never stopping for Tiara. And she understood that, and she tried to make do with that, but she just couldn’t do it. She couldn’t get over someone that important to her in mere years. She’d need decades, several of them, to forget and forgive for what happened. Yet… the velvet red color of Audrey’s hair and eyes kept calling back to her. Telling her that she needed to see her again, even if it was just a glance. She needed that, to get over what happened. To get over the pain. To get over whatever was bringing her down, and to be capable of truly going on without dealing with her pain.
Slowly, Tiara began to delve even deeper into those memories of Audrey that she had. Things such as the many, many hours that they spent racing together, the many times Audrey and Tiara worked on the Mark 6-4/3 together, the many dates they went on, the sleepless nights they spent together… It all came flooding back to her as she continued sipping her coffee, as tears began to roll down her face. ‘Why am I like this?... Why?...’ She couldn’t do it…
As more and more tears rolled down her face, she remembered the times that they trained their arcane powers together. Audrey was Tiara’s equal. She was the one girl that could bring her down a peg when needed. They always trained together. They excercised the same kind of Shuto Energy, so it was only natural that they would become equals. Tiara was always the offensive kind of arcane user, while Audrey was on the defensive. Together, they formed an almost unbreakable attack pattern that often made Tiara’s job of being Kaiserrin more fun than it should ever be. They often went on quests signed by the Driver’s Guild, as at the time, Nia was still at Tiara’s side. And the three of them, eventually with Shizune joining the group, the four of them, went on and ventured through the Rynese Empire, making shining justice rain down from the heavens.
But of course, all stories of love come to an end.
They always do.
And for Tiara, it wasn’t a happy ending. Audrey, having her parents be concerned over her college tuition, had to leave Tiara, and move to a completely different state in the Rynese Empire. This made Tiara enter a stage of depression that was similar to the one she faced against when she saved Natalia’s life, as she had to give up every single last positive emotion in her being for Natalia to stay alive. That day in Tiara’s life has always been a dark one ever since Audrey left. The words that she spoke echoed through her brain again, like a tumor. It was horrible, having to relive it again…
“I’m… I’m so sorry… Irenia… I’m… I’m so… so sorry… But… I can’t go on with you… My parents will… they’ll kill me if I don’t take this… I know you love me… I know for a damn fact that if it was my option, I wouldn’t dare step aside from you… but… I can’t choose… I’m sorry… I’m so sorry my love… I’m… I’m so…”
Audrey’s words stung her heart, as she relived the moment that she left her life. Those words… they had so much sadness in them. She remembered tearing up, and closing her eyes, to never see again, she hoped. The last thing she felt before she snapped back into the real world was Audrey’s last, bittersweet embrace of Tiara. November 22nd, 2040. Almost one year ago, Audrey left Tiara’s life. But her absence would be short. Very short in fact…
As Tiara snapped back into reality, the cold breeze that entered the garage made itself evident. She had finished her coffee without realizing it, as she drifted through her memories. She made her way to the worktable of the garage, where she washed the coffee mug, and her hands. She then returned to watching the Lola Mark 6-4/3, carefully inspecting it’s body. Tiara briefly gazed at the calendar - 22nd of June, 2041. ‘That’s just under two weeks away from Audrey’s birthday…’ she briefly thought, before continuing to examine the vehicle. The body was made out of aluminum, with everything under the body, including the interior, being made of either Carbon Fibre of steel. It was a very nice machine, with nice, wide tyres that gripped the road very well…
Something was off. Not in the car, or with it, but rather, with Tiara. She seemed like she was speeding through her thoughts, not paying attention to what she was doing. It was like… there was an arcane presence nearby that needed more attention payed to it. But Tiara was a stubborn girl, and she’d much rather finish examining her car rather than pay attention to some rando Blade Driver that needed directions. She traced her fingers through the tyres’ slick surface, feeling how cold they were. Eventually, she separated from the car, and began to write down everything that she felt in her car work notebook, which she always kept in the garage. She took out the pen that she always left on it, and wrote down some basic information about how things felt, before putting everything aside. She began to walk outside, and once she was, the cold breeze passed through her once more. Of course, she greeted it kindly, taking a deep breath of that fresh air that the Rynese Westerwald was known for having.
It was then that she heard an audible gasp coming from her left. Instinctively, she locked eyes with whatever made that noise… Only to have her jaw pretty much drop to the floor. Her eyes widened, her pupils dilated. It was a face that she hadn’t seen in a while… One that she both didn’t want, yet also did want to see. It was the face of Audrey Belrose, wearing her iconic dress. It was pretty much the same as what Tiara was wearing, with the same white underdress, but in red everywhere else, instead of a deep shade of purple or white and blue like Tiara sometimes wore. The both of them stared at each other for what seemed like eternity, as they very slowly inched their ways towards one another.
“...Irenia…” - Audrey’s voice hadn’t changed a single bit. It was exactly like she remembered it being. It was a little rough, but Tiara loved it. It was the kind of voice that, though rough, made her feel good inside.
“...Audrey… you…” - Tiara felt how her eyes began to tear up. She didn’t notice it, but Audrey had been crying the entire way to the villa.
“...Irenia… my… my love…” - Tiara felt how her heart suddenly stopped for a solid second. She… didn’t know what to think anymore. However… Irenia knew. Irenia - Tiara’s second name and her second self.
“...Don’t you dare call me that… after leaving me like that…” - Irenia’s voice was made clear. She did not approve of this, specially considering how her heart was nowhere near over what had happened all those years back. She could barely hope that things would go OK.
“...Irenia?... Please… I’m… I’m sorry… I… I didn’t have a choice…” - Audrey’s voice began to sound more and more morose, depressed. She was beginning to realize that the Irenia she still loved… probably didn’t love her anymore.
“You always did have a choice… and you chose whatever your parents wanted over me… Why… Why are you here?... Just to make me feel like trash again?! Just to break my heart once more?! Why?! WHY ARE YOU HERE?!?!” - Irenia couldn’t take it, she couldn’t anymore. Her powers unleashed, her body being engulfed in a golden, flaming aura. She tightened her fists, and ran towards her in anger. She was going to punch the living hell out of her.
“...Irenia… Please!... I’m just as angry with myself as you are!” - Audrey was quick to block Irenia’s Shuto attack, but Irenia linked it up with another with her other hand, which Audrey barely was capable of blocking.
“TELL ME WHY DAMNIT!” - Irenia was crying rivers then and there. She couldn’t take it… She just couldn’t… She kept furiously throwing punch after punch after punch at Audrey, all of them being deflected or blocked by her. Her eyes had turned golden - a sign of Irenia’s maximum power being activated.
“...Irenia…” - Was all that Audrey was capable of saying. Perhaps… she shouldn’t have come here… But for a second - Irenia stopped her punches by her own accord… before resuming them. This time, even throwing kicks and ranged Shuto attacks that Audrey also had to take care off with her Shuto Shields.
Tiara didn’t lay off the offensive, not yet at least. She continued to mix her battle strategy, getting right up close and personal with charged physical attacks, as well as throwing back and utilizing her long range attacks. Audrey did not once throw an attack towards Tiara, and maintained her defensive stance. She didn’t quite know why, but she felt like it was wrong for her to just attack someone as important as Tiara, even if it was in her right. She felt how her feelings for Tiara were making her slowly give up her fight. If Tiara wanted her dead… then so be it, right?
Audrey’s shields and defensive stance began to become sloppy, weaker with every attack deflected. Tiara didn’t take note of it herself, but she was also getting tired of this. She didn’t want to kill Audrey… she just didn’t know what the hell was going on inside of her. She felt like her emotions were a massive tornado, destroying her entire reality. She just wanted peace… but what she was doing would have the exact opposite effect. It would end up throwing her life in the opposite way of what she wanted.
Slowly, Tiara began to formulate words once more. She began to close the distance between her and Audrey one last time, but even then, it was barely a few metres. She stumbled upon her words for a moment, before properly making a broken sentence. Tiara was not okay. She really wasn’t.
“...Why?... why must you… come here…” - Tiara began to feel how her eyes overflowed with tears. She was unable to tell apart her scenery, the only thing that was guiding her was the fact that she could sense where Audrey was due to the both of them being Shuto users.
“...Because I… can’t… live without you!” - Audrey said it. The thing that she had in her mind ever since she separated herself from Tiara. She spelled out the facts - She truly couldn’t live without Tiara in her life anymore. And Irenia… Irenia was just as if not more important than Tiara was. Yes - they were the same person, but they were very different in terms of attitude.
“...don’t lie to me… you left me on your own accord… how could you not be capable of… living without my sorry being…” - Slowly, Irenia’s attacks became less and less frequent, as she began to break down, crying.
“...Irenia… my love… I’m… I’m so sorry… I… I had to come back to you… But now I realize… that you don’t want me here…” - Audrey stopped blocking Irenia’s attacks, just as Irenia launched one last long ranged attack that ended up hitting Audrey’s cheek, making a clean cut in it, where Audrey began to bleed from.
“...A...u...dr….ey…” - Irenia’s broken words, from her panting and heavy breathing due to her current state of mind and emotion, were all that she could muster to say. She slowly closed the gap between herself and Audrey.
“Do… as you must… Irenia… I don’t… deserve you… not anymore…” - Audrey was ready for the final blow. She closed her eyes, and waited for Irenia to do ‘as she needed to do’.
Yet, instead of a fatal blow, what Audrey felt was soft. A tightening feeling around her waist, and the feeling of being pushed against something soft. As she slowly opened her eyes, she realized that Irenia was hugging her. Really tightly too. Slowly though, she felt Irenia’s grip fading. Irenia then separated herself from Audrey, but not letting go of her. The two ladies then looked into each other’s eyes, both were red around the edges from crying, which the two of them still were, unable to grasp the situation at hand.
But it was what came next that made Audrey close her eyes and wish for eternity. Irenia softly, gently, moved towards Audrey. The latter, giving up in her resistance, giving it up and letting Irenia do what Irenia does, closed her eyes once more… only to feel something very soft on her lips. She instantly opened her eyes, to reveal…
Irenia kissing her. And Irenia’s grip around Audrey only got tighter, and that kiss only got more passionate as Irenia/Tiara and Audrey rediscovered why it was that they originally were a couple in the first place. Audrey wrapped her arms around Irenia, and tightened her grip around her. She was not going to let go. Not again. She would never let go. The pain from her wound began to dissipate, as her mind was focused on what was immediately happening. Her heart began to warm up once more. The once cold surface of it going back to life.
Audrey was… increasingly happy.
Tiara was… finding herself once more.
And so, in that passionate embrace that they had together, they found peace. Eventually, it came to an end however. Tiara slowly breaking that kiss off, leaving but a dissipating strand of saliva between the two of them.
“...I’m… not okay with what you did… but I’m willing to put it behind us… and continue on like that day never happened… I… I still love you… I’d say I love you more now than ever...” - Irenia finally cut to the chase. She needed Audrey in her life again. She had beaten herself over the fact that they split up, constantly telling herself that it was her fault. But now that Audrey was back… she could prove to herself that she was more than worthy of being in a relationship with Audrey.
“Aren’t you… married now though?...” - Audrey found herself going back to the things she had heard that had happened in recent times. Tiara was indeed married, but the woman in question was someone that she did not quite know. She knew that she was from Azenyanistan, but not more.
“...I mean… yeah?... But... don’t worry, at least… not too much. When you meet Natalia you’ll come to find that she’ll be okay with you coming back to me… I hope, at least. She’s been surprisingly lenient with that so far…” - And lenient Natalia was. Tiara for a second had all her deviant acts pass through her mind, making her face turn a slight shade of red before tightening her grip around Audrey again, this time, lifting her up.
“Wo-aahh...oh… Ammm… You’ve gotten strong haven’t you?...” - Audrey didn’t particularly mind being carried by Tiara, but she did get a little bit surprised with her strength. They were both 5 feet 2 tall, and they were pretty non-muscular. ‘Just how much power did Tiara end up obtaining?’ Audrey wrapped her legs in whatever way she could around Tiara.
“I’ll bring you inside… I need to take care of that cut right away. Otherwise, I’ll feel like s**t to be completely honest with you…” - And so, Tiara began to walk towards the house. Audrey made sure to keep her grip on Tiara, and smiled sincerely at the fact that she was finally with her again.
“...You don’t need to… It’s a small price to pay for being with you… which in my opinion… it’s the greatest pleasure my life could have…”
And so, the two ladies, Tiara carrying Audrey, made their way inside of the house. Tiara sat Audrey down on one of the sofas, where Audrey laid down and pinched herself, thinking that what was going on wasn’t real. Tiara, in the meantime, went and searched for the bandages. ‘Where the hell did I put them… Maybe they’re in one of these…?’ she thought to herself, as she searched for them. She eventually found them inside one of the various medical kits that she had laying around her house. She took them out, as well as wound cleaners, and went back to where Audrey was. She was unsurprised when she saw her laying down on the sofa, with her eyes closed. She just kneeled alongside her, and began to clean her wounds. Audrey sighed in a little bit of pain as the wound cleaners burnt a bit.
“I’m sorry if it hurts. It’s my fault…like everything...” - Tiara sounded morose, as if she was blaming herself for Audrey leaving her back then once more.
“It isn’t, don’t worry. I’m back now… and I’m hoping to stay, forever.” - Audrey spoke back to her, her eyes still closed. She gently held Tiara’s arm as she continued to apply wound cleaner on her.
“...Please do…” - Tiara felt her eyes tearing up. She didn’t know if it was due to joy, or just the fact that she wanted to trust Audrey on what she was saying.
“...I will. I promise. Nothing will separate me from you now. Even if it means that I have to go through hell and back, for you, I’m more than willing to do anything.” - Audrey’s voice began to soften out. Normally, it would be a pretty decent contrast to Tiara’s ultra-soft voice, but Audrey was calm now. She just wanted to spend as much time as she could with Tiara, to make up for the time that they lost.
“...” - Tiara stopped talking, as she put away the wound cleaner, instead placing her hand on the wound. Audrey didn’t complain, feeling Tiara touch her was always something to be celebrated, but she then began to feel like her wound was burning again. But as she had said earlier, a little bit of pain in exchange for Tiara was more than definitely a good trade. What she didn’t know, was that Tiara was applying her limited healing powers to heal Audrey’s wound. It would be a lot more effective than any bandage, after all.
Audrey didn’t move an inch, besides fiddling with her mostly velvet-colored hair. Tiara kept working on Audrey’s wound, though her heartbeat began to accelerate. It reminded her of when she first met Audrey - she had the same reaction. And, coincidentally enough…
“...Tiara… do you remember when we first met?” - Tiara took her hand off of Audrey’s cheek, revealing that it had healed fully. Audrey then turned to Tiara, and looked deep into her love interest’s now sharp, crimson eyes.
“...Of course I do. Barely past midnight, Taffu Nightclub. You bumped into me, and as you fell to the ground you held onto me and dragged me down with you. I had been seeing how you were acting around people before, so I was expecting you to begin talking and throwing all kinds of trash at me, but then I was met with-” - Tiara’s short version of how they met was interrupted by Audrey, whom recited, word for word, what she said to Tiara that night.
“I’m really sorry. Uhh… Do I… know you from somewhere?” - Audrey imitated the voice that she put on when she first spoke to Tiara. Audrey did recognize her as the Kaiserrin, but she didn’t speak of it at the time.
“...Hehehe… and then we went to the bar, and spewed our lives out at each other for a while over a couple of drinks. I remember that I found you super attractive back then, and all I can say is that you’re still as, if not more attractive now. Hehehe~” - Tiara smiled, sincerely, to Audrey. Reminiscing like this about the good times that they had together was fun.
“We exchanged numbers, and then we went our separate ways. I called you a couple of hours later, and then we agreed on meeting at the seafront of Emerald City, and that’s where I confessed to you that I found you super attractive too, heh.” - Audrey giggled a little, as she gently placed her hand on Tiara’s cheek.
“The thing I remember the most of that day is how we practically never stepped away from one another. Of course, back then you still smoked cigs and got high, as well as drunk a lot more than I did, but we hit it off surprisingly well. Back then you still had that ‘bad girl’ attitude too, girl, I wouldn’t mind seeing you with that attitude again even if just for a few moments. It would bring such good memories back to me. Of course - the current you is definitely someone I’m super proud of. We both got clean because of one another, pretty much, didn’t we?” - Tiara giggled at her last comment, granting Audrey to smile and nod. For a moment, they didn’t continue talking, but rather, they just looked into each other’s eyes, as Tiara gently embraced Audrey, bringing her closer to herself.
“...I remember… very fondly… all the moments we spent together, Audrey. There’s not single moment I spent with you that I don’t cherish, because you taught me a lot about myself, and about how I should act around people and how my actions influence those around me. You teached me to love, and to forgive. And for that, I’m grateful, but more than anything, I’m very much in love with you~” - Tiara held her tighter. Her voice was fine, but it was getting a bit weak. She loved Audrey, with a passion.
“And I love you too, Tiara. I love you so, so much. Ever since I laid eyes on you, I was unable to get you out of my mind. And now… You’re everything to me. You really are…” - Audrey sat up, bringing Tiara along with her. Tiara sat down on her lap, facing towards Audrey.
“Hehehe… ahh… I missed being like this with you so much... You really just don’t begin to understand how much your touch means to me…” - Audrey kept caressing Tiara’s cheek, as Tiara spoke. Audrey then wrapped her arms around Tiara’s waist, holding her close to herself. Tiara, in turn, wrapped her arms around Audrey’s neck.
“Let’s agree to forget that day ever happened. You yourself said that you wanted to, or at least implied it. Let’s leave it behind us, and carry on where we left off. Does that sound good, Tiara dear?” - Audrey’s voice, which normally was about that of your stereotypical bad girl, was soft, warm, tender and full of love for the woman she had in her arms.
“...Yeah… let’s do that… that sounds… very... very nice..."

The northern coast had become a maze of concrete and barbed wire, the fires of the encampments visible as far as the eye could see along the mountains. Carolus had ordered Anfisa and Artyom to oversee this defence personally, to ensure a swift victory.
"Its not going to take the Tanabonians long to see that half the defences are made of plywood and tarp. Who the hell does Carolus think he's fooling?!" Anfisa exclaimed, shaking her head. "Its meant to look meaner than it is." Artyom answered, shrugging. "I mean, yeah, I would rather have good concrete and metal protecting me, but if we can draw them into the mountains, it wont matter anyways." he continued, rising to his feet and stretching. Artyom walked over Anfisa as she stood on the cliff, looking over the mock defense force. He pulled her close, her head resting on his broad chest. She wrapped her arms around him, and sighed gently. The lovers held each other in the stillness of the night for a time, just trying to enjoy what would likely be one if their last night together. "You know we arent going to make it into the mountains, right?" Anfisa asked, somewhat muffled with her face buried in Artyoms shirt. "Yeah." Artyom responded coldly, squeezing her a little tighter. "And you know we wont be going home?" She asked, her voice cracking as she did. Artyom kissed the top of her head, before looking into her eyes, "Elthayis, Black Cathedral, Grudge River, wherever I have been, has been home, because I have been with you. You are my safe place in the many storms we have weathered together. If we go to our graves here, my comfort is knowing that we stood beside each other, until the very bitter end."
Anfisa began to cry, gently shaking as Artyom held her close. Down below, the Sawteeth began to set up their artillery, and take up sniper positions, digging in all over the rocky face of the mountains along the shore. The mountain would be the final resting place if so many who stood here in the still night, preparing for an enemy they had once admired and respected. They were ready for them now, they eagerly awaited their arrival.
The Sawteeth await.

Within your nations embassies, Yugobatanian ambassadors hand an envelope to your leader. Upon opening it reveals a letter:
I’d like to have a list of all space-related activities that your nation has conducted. For example, such as rocket launches of satellites. This is due to a new cataloging project I-NPASA is trying to compile for future space efforts. Other things we would like is a list of all space borne objects - satellites, debris from rockets, etc., if any at all.
Things we would also like are statistics in percentage how much your nation is spending on space applications.
On a side note, we’ve also chosen astronauts for the Norvir IV mission to whom they will land on the Moon. ETD is in 5 hours.
Sincerely, the Vice President of Yugobatania
