Garfield

Here's a true story for you.

When I was on detachment with the RAF, a USAF pilot came into the crew room and saw me drawing a Garfield on one of the tables with a china graph pencil.

He asked me if I would draw one on his aircraft.

I said no problem.

He gave me a thick indelible marker and pointed to his aircraft.

It was an A-10! Lol

So I drew a pretty large Garfield on his port tail fin.

He was pleased with it and gave me a load of USAF squadron badges.

I always wondered how long that Garfield tag lasted on his jet. :D
