I think he wants to do it to purge the heretics

Oh that? Because I love Halo, and I feel like an extinction event that could conquer known and unknown space in Valsora's universe is just the kick in the pants it needs to be interesting in the long term.

I feel like it'll have the opposite effect, since from what I understand the plague induces uniformity (and is impossible to stop) and there's nothing interesting about that.

It would be. And I would love to see it in action.

The plague could be used to introduce a random unpredictability to Valsora, where we fear the next plague all the while we continue fighting allowing for said plagues to arise. If anything I'm surprised Valsora hasn't dealt with 1 yet with all the war.

There is still a fight to be had. If you accept the plague and don't resist, then all is in vain. Plus, who knows what it can produce post-infection, after all Valsora is woefully behind when it comes to advanced technology.

....*Hides Propane Lightsabers* But yes I do agree with what your saying. Valsora hasn't really received much of a technological shake up, a shake up of the world powers yet or even a plague. So it would be wonderful to see this unfold if not to shake everything up, then just for curiosity's sake.

Whatever you want. Whatever you want is what it can produce, because you're in charge of it.

I dunno man, not only would a plague RP hit rather close to home right now . . . this one is just too apocalyptic in its design.
