Levantin wrote:OOC: So.... if you recall, in my first Levantine Sea post I stated that I had deployed two task forces. Only one of them is currently fighting your forces. The other one... well.... ur gonna lose a lot of ships.

Battle of the Levantine Sea: Climax

The kamikazi attacks continue, with fighters and bombers targeting larger ships like aircraft carriers and missile cruisers. Several groups of fighters stay in the air to distract the enemy air corps. On the waters, one of the submarines in Task Force "Sword" heads straight for the Kilkiran aircraft carrier with intention of ramming and destroying it. Several small speedy missile boats attempt and ram and destroy destroyers.

"Sword" continues its massive attack. Missile after missile, torpedo after torpedo, is fired at close range into the enemy ships. Many Levantine ships are destroyed in the process and the loss of life is terrible, but the attack continues. "Sword" will take the enemy fleet down with it.

Meanwhile, the second Levantine fleet, Task Force "Hammer" finally takes action. As "Sword" makes the ultimate sacrifice for Levantin, Task Force "Hammer" embarks on a maneuver to hit the enemy fleet on its vulnerable rear flanks. Fighters and bombers are launched from AC carriers and submarines move ahead of the main forces to strike the first blows and disorient the enemy. The destroyers, cruisers, and frigates have activated all CIWS and weapons systems. Complete radio silence is observed to maintain the element of surprise.

No Escape

As the helicopters take off from the burning embassies and fly to "safety", SAM batteries from the capable Citadel Defense System (most advanced in Valsora) open fire sending dozens of deadly missiles straight towards them.

Meanwhile, the embassy burns.....

Home Front

The average Levantine sees the conflict with Kilkire as part of a struggle to liberate the country from the grip of western domination. When an invasion does occur, they will be determined to fight on even if their government falls to the enemy. This is no secret to the Levantine Ministry of Defense, which organized and trained thousands of armed civilian militias across the nation.

In Tel Ayn, you cannot come across a single building without a Levantine flag draped across it. Angry protests against the West involving flag burning is common. The patriotic fervor reaches extreme levels.

The Battle for the Levantine Sea
While at first the situation on the seas is rapidly turning towards a crushing Kilkirian victory, what with the Levantine air force almost entirely being within easy picking range, and the Sword Fleet effectively walking into the Interiorem Fleet's shells. While a few subs manage to slip past the endless barrages of depth-charges and torpedoes enabling them to cause serious damage to some of the larger ships. With the Kilkirian air force securing air superiority in the skies, and the Interiorem Fleet continuing to gun down the Sword Fleet, things seemed under control. However this all changes when the Hammer fleet enters.

The Kilkirian fleet was almost caught completely by surprise, with only the Super-Carrier and a few other ships having a few second's warning before the wave of enemy fighters attacked. The attack on the flank had the intended effect, and most all the ships were caught off guard. The five carrier's defense fleets were able to quickly regroup in order to protect the floating airfields. However, this was not met with total success, as the ships were focused on the Hammer fleet, a successful kamikaze attack slammed right through the deck of a carrier, and went right into the munitions. The explosion tore through some of the smaller surrounding ships, effectively taking that entire mini-fleet out of operation. The ships began retreating away from the Hammer fleet, many ships even holding formation thanks to the brilliant and quick command of the renowned Kilkirian Admiral, John Barry. The air force quickly turned around to the new threat, and faced the remaining Hammer fleet pilots in long and brutal dogfights. While the Supercarrier retreated to a safe distance to be able to continue the fight unless any other carriers were taken out of operation. With most of the Sword fleet now at the bottom of the ocean, it was assumed the remaining ships could no longer put up an adequate fight. This however, was the fatal mistake of the Royal Navy. While retreating towards the Sword fleet, a Levantine submarine smashed into the lower decks of a carrier, narrowly missing the munitions, but incapacitating the vessel and later causing it to capsize none the less.

The Embassy
With the helicopters having missiles homed in on them, desperate measures were taken to try and save the diplomats. Four SWAT men, two on each copper, wearing parachutes were able to save the closest people to them. Both the helicopters exploded, killing almost everyone, with even one of the SWAT men with a parachute having been killed. They desperately jumped from the copters, and deployed the chutes. When they touched the ground again, only 3 SWAT men, 3 diplomats, and 1 soldier survived. They landed near a tiny town, where they quickly occupied an empty market. They retreated back as far as they could, and could only pray they would be able to survive long enough to get home.

Dreamersistan wrote:are cartoonized 'romance' ads actually 'henta' though?

Because in that case, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin would be hentai..

Oh, that gives me ide-

<girlfriends:>

It's show a female anime character with slightly exaggerated body parts.

It's not illegal I believe, but it is definitely suggestive.

Dreamersistan wrote:How on earth are u getting 'hentai'? hentai is sexualized cartoon imaging. That should be illegal considering u're underage

They didn't send me actual hentai, just ads with thicc anime girls titled "hentai crate".

The weirdest part is that I have never watched or clicked on a single anime or hentai in my entire life.

I feel your pain. I see those sexual ads pop up all the time, whenever i make the mistake of using the internet w/o adblockers. It's quite jarring, tbh

Snowflake? SNOWFLAKE!?!?!?

If there's one thing I've learned in the last week with Gretaface, it's that one can be offended by pretty much everything

Yep. I myself only take offense if you insult me unironically or you bring my momma into it.

You insult my ma and the next thing you see with either be my dad teleporting out of no where to kill you or me asking you to take it back while undoing my belt and making a pair of improvised leather knuckles XD

I'M SICK OF SNOWFLAKES! Never fell once all winter, but shew up all day yesterday. Like some sick April fools joke, falling leisurely.

Shavara wrote:"I have only lost one of my good friends, but most of them in the situation were injured." Answered Father Juárez. "What I have encountered is a powerful demon named 'Legion', I have exorcised it out of an innocent person's soul, it told me with an otherworldly voice that there are many places that we comprehend as Hell."

Joseph nods along. "Let's get one thing out of the way first, the Legion aren't demons. At least in the traditional sense. They're...how do I say? Aliens. Yeah, they're practically aliens. The legion and many other abominations I've encountered all come from the same place. The same monster. Damān, the Forsaken One. A being from space itself."

Even here you're a kinda employee...
